Please give your baby's favourite foods so we can get some ideas from each other.

Hi penny. I'm now 21 weeks (had to check my app as I'm not as good as last time)
I am excited about the small age gap, spending another year at home "with the kids". Some practicalities to iron out , such as where to put DC1 wen dc2 needs the cot. Can I get away with single push chair and a sling. And tell her to do her PF exercises big time. As I feel so swollen down there. I'm sure I have a varicose vain! (And i have piles.)Just can't get in a position to even look down there! The MS with a baby to look after was very hard. And my iron was still low from lo1 so now its got lower. But I would make the same "mistake" again Wink

Advice her to carry on taking her pregnancy vitimins in the interim.

Hoorah pp!

Pikchurs?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 24/05/2013 22:00

Tired. Night night. Sleepy dust to all of you.

Xx

Bryzoan · 24/05/2013 22:03

Izzy - that sounds amazing and very well deserved.

Vq - well done holding it together in what is becoming a very drawn out battle. Might not feel like it but it sounds like you are making real progress. J is lucky he has a bear like you for his mum.

Kyz - brilliant :-) what a relief.

Chasing - you and o have come a long way. Enjoy it. And don't take any crap this weekend. That last bit goes for everyone and anyone who needs simillar advice.

Pr - r sings in tune beautifully. She can't speak, but hums a great twinkle twinkle.

R really made me laugh yesterday. For ages she has been intermittently signing cow and mooing at home and I have been very perplexed about what the heck she is on about. Then yesterday she signed "cow home". And I realised 'we are young' by fun was playing on the iPod. It is on a list of songs that she is asking for over and over at the moment. She was busy signing along "cow me home tonight....". I now keep singing it in my head. I love my beautiful, crazy daughter Grin

Bryzoan · 24/05/2013 22:07

Pp - forgot to say, thanks for thinking of me re lymmington. We have loads on at the moment with appts for r and also starting to look at schools for her Shock so I don't think I will be able to get that far though. Sorry.

ValiumQueen · 24/05/2013 22:18

Read but forgotten everything. Thank you all for your kind words about J and my parenting Smile and also for your thoughts about his treatment.

Boy child is a lot happier tonight. He was laughing like a drain when I was correcting his dada to mama. He loves the antibiotic, which just goes to show how horrid the formula tastes. His skin is also looking marginally better. The new cream took a layer off Shock but he seemed happier for it and is no longer scratching.

My MIL and SIL are visiting tomorrow. I may need to offload.

PR DD1 used to sound awful but now sings like an angel. DD2 still sounds awful. But very enthusiastic.

Bry, your DD sounds utterly wonderful Smile

Love to all x

PetiteRaleuse · 24/05/2013 22:20

pennie I might PM you my work issues. I guess we both work in finance. You can then tell me if I should pst on the fred... Ugh. Am so angry. I'll PM you next week if I am calm enough

pig I hope you have a better night. vq you did already but I hope the antibiotics take effect quickly. With LO it took two doses to see a real improvement.

izzy I hope you enjoyed your bath Envy

chasing you're doing really well. Please make contact with us, or some or one of us, if you suddenly need support. You're getting there.

Dixiebell · 24/05/2013 22:25

PR, ds1 sings pretty much in tune. At least you recognise it's not, and won't be one of those deluded parents that think their child is the next Whitney Houston, or something.

Good luck to everyone for tonight. We had 2 nights of only one wake up making me think we'd turned a corner, but last night wasn't so good again. Fingers crossed though .

horseylady · 24/05/2013 22:30

stunt I try to add just before but have left them made up with gaviscon in and no problems.

Right day of purée. Reduced vim (yay!!) also his colds gone so who knows?? Will do small amount of purée.

pr I used to think you could train anyone to sing in tune. Apparently not. Dh can not sing. Shame as I was the front singer in a band!!

ValiumQueen · 24/05/2013 22:30

PR how about name changing here and discussing it. I am sure you can choose a name that we could recognise to be you, but others wouldn't?

PetiteRaleuse · 24/05/2013 23:09

Haha vq I know just what name you have in mind. I'll see if pr is taken. Tomorrow.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/05/2013 23:49

kirrinIsland · 25/05/2013 00:20

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 25/05/2013 00:32

Bath was lovelypr super hot and I even shaved my legs! Figured I better for swimming tomorrow and also therapist might not wanna do a massage on my stubbly legs! Dinner was lovely. Film alright. Now expressing milk before going to bed for a good ten hours! Woofuckinghoo!

LuisGarcia · 25/05/2013 00:35

L has taken to rolling her head back and forth as she goes to sleep shouting "Eye boo, eye boo".

MrsG and I are both at the point where we want to snap back "YABU!".

I think we need a night out, don't we?

PurplePidjin · 25/05/2013 02:17

Yes yabu, L, go to sleep!!

5.5 hours Shock shame it was 6:30-midnight. Currently on second feed of the night.

Bryzoan · 25/05/2013 03:33

That is quite funny luis. Or it would be if you weren't dead on your feet.

5.5 hours pidj - that is great :-)

Was work ok kirrin?

G is now back to 3 hr chunks and settling reasonably ok. He will be 6 months Sunday. So, time to step up the solids a bit I think and thn gently encourage him to take a bit longer between feeds.

PurplePidjin · 25/05/2013 04:11

And we're back to the 2 hourlies. And i have a stinking sore throat

PetiteRaleuse · 25/05/2013 05:53

Morning. Coldest May day yesterday in Paris since the 1880s. I can believe it. My heating is on high. Woke up during the night. Feeling too cold. Am sat here shivering doing the early morning feed.

YellowWellies · 25/05/2013 06:49

7.5 uninterrupted hours!

fruitpastilles · 25/05/2013 07:03

Another night on S's floor next to her cot, seems to be working though, she didn't wake up crying to get out of her cot for the second night in a row. 3 wake ups just needing dummy shoving back in and hand holding.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 25/05/2013 07:18

Brew for pidg does anyone else want one while I'm there.

Good work yw I bet you needed that.

pr I am sorry you are having work issues too. If you need to storm out crying to the toilet I'll co e and give you a hug Grin

mm I really hope you had a great night I think you really needed it.

I can here DS1 downstairs asking DH if they are off to the airport. " no just Costa" he replies. The disappointment! What are we rearing? They are of to Ireland tomorrow todo all things house related. I am staying here Sad they are also test driving a fiat panda 4x4 Hmm

As we will be giving our company car back, and really will need two cars we are checking it all out at the mo. the Panda is DHs commuting car and has the four wheel drive inase we need it, but I will need a 7 sweater really and am really stuck on a ford grand c max. Is economic enough I can get a used one at a not extortionate price, it's not too big, but big enough for trips back to blighty to see grandpa a couple of times a year. Any thoughts?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 25/05/2013 08:30

Tumbleweed.

Is everyone having Saturday morning fun?
