Evil the arching back and screaming sounds reflux-y. I know you mentioned you were weaning, have you tried a new food with him recently which may be disagreeing with him?

I am lying on the mattress in M's room watching TV on the laptop. Headphones in and trying to attempt CC against my better judgement (she is fed, changed and cosey in bed - there is absolutely no need for her to be whinging other than the fact she wants to be in my bed). Just caught the wee pest watching the screen through the bars of her cot...

Wayhey YW - when I stop BF'ing could be tonight... I think I will take a stint at dairy free to shift my cake rack!

Det your dad sounds like a dick. Sorry you are hungry!

Sophia all the best for tomorrow ! xx

Pass regularly causes me to spray tea/juice/water all over the lappy screen with her witty banter! Grin

Oh and det hmm. They sound like fannies. Tell your dad you need cash and make sure he sorts it. I hate feeling like I am standing on ceremony. You have a ten year old - he shouldn't be restricted drinks!

I know VQ I'm like the kid in sixth sense - except its not dead people I see everywhere but immature tummy sphincters and intolerances. Next time I'm going to say 'measles' just for shits and giggles.

Lol @ YW being like House. Brill VQ.

Personally YW I think that there are few things more awesome than white goods purchasing. DH is a Which-a-holic. I have never done drugz (pass the doochie to the left hand side please passme if you don't want any - I was always very good at ensuring fairness at the passing) and have only travelled as a teacher. I get my kicks buying awesome fridges, biatches!

yw I'm looking forward to meeting you and Jonas. We can do the 3 J hotdog and I agree with vq he will look teeny. My J is a monster, 98th centile last weigh in and most likely off the chart now as he jumped up a scale every time he was weighed!

We went swimming again today, was fun. J fell asleep the minute he was zipped into his snowsuit!

We only had two wakenings last night which is massively better than the 7 or so the previous few nights.

Tomorrow I have physio and then we are having a couple we know round for dinner. I'm making lasagne so out goes the diet again. I'm actually dreading going on the scales!
I'm pretty sure I've put weight on, how embarrassing!

And shit, bugger, balls! chasing I share your complete and utter terror of weaning. It just seems so huge! For the same reasons as you. I just want P to enjoy food, know when she is full and not be afraid to experiment with new tastes. When we had P in the hospital when she was refusing to eat one of the docs said "oh. She's a modelling type - all skinny with bad breath". It made us laugh then and still does but I think of it when I am basically pining P down for 'just one more oz'. DH said to me the other day, very gently, that he worried that I might cause an oral aversion. He's not wrong given how she reacts to the muslin! Let's make a pact to just chill and enjoy the 'food is fun' stage.

Pass maybe give her a muslin to play with - its one of Jonas' favourite games - trying to nom a muslin until he gags.

Woohoo MM How long did it take?

Woop Woop MM1 and Happy Birthday too Wine
M is in her cot asleep too, she's been shattered since we got home at four but refused to nap bar a five minute post-feed lull. She is now sparked out in her cot. I'm feeling sleepy so I may go and join her now

I think she might be teething, her temp is slightly high and her cheeks are bright red, plus lots of drool and chewing.

Another Q about DHs notice, will they have to pay him for any holidays owed? His hols run jan-jan and he's only taken 1 days so far this year.

Hello shiny Fred that I'm pretty sure I haven't posted on yet so I'm reading through and wanting to reply with us type stuff but won't because it's going to just be a massive woe is me post

Hope you're all ok, pass you do make me laugh

det steal your dads dinner from his plate? Get ds1 to distract him. In all seriousness I would probably die if restricted from food. Eat the cheese?

hope you all have good nights, I'm wanting mostly to not wake up from mine I don't mean this, not completely, I am just of the stress today

Report
ValiumQueen · 07/04/2013 21:27

fatima yes, they will be obliged to pay any AL owed.

izzy I guess swimming three times a day to aid naps might be a bit difficult to achieve.

J was awake from 3 to 9. He could not settle due to poo, or lack thereof. When showed the suppository pack he squeezed out a small amount and felt a lot better. Poor little bugger.

Thought so VQ Poor J. I test suppositories, the infant ones look so small, now we know what they get used for Smile

M loves nomming her muslin and her sleeves and her top and the strings of my hoody, basically anything

We found the dining room, except it is now a craft/computer/music/reading room. Managed to shift a lot of crap out of Js bedroom too. DH has finally volunteered his study to be the crap depository. I have been wanting to suggest this since the blue line, but it needed to come from him. He now thinks he has a much bigger office with occasional visitors.

I am sorting out baby stuff to sell and donate. It feels good. Funny how I could not do this after Boo, even though we had decided to stop at two. Clearly we were waiting for J but did not know it Smile he is the cherry on top Grin

Do you really test suppositories?

Report
MissMummy1 · 07/04/2013 21:35

25 minutes. Fuck.

Report
Passmethecrisps · 07/04/2013 21:39

I am sorry evil. It is awful when they are like that. Have you tried a dose of calpol? He could have a headache or something similar. If P is very out of sorts I try even half a dose to see and it usually sorts her right out. What else could it be? Wind? Constipation? Have you cycled his legs? Massage? A warm bath?
