blizy · 23/10/2013 18:14

Wiggles I hope Olivia is ok?

As for me, I am on a waiting list for an HSG, should be around 8 months. I am also on the list for IVF which is around 18-24 month wait! So I guess we just wait....

Thewalkingdeadkr · 23/10/2013 20:16

Good news then blizy do they know what's up , it's weird as you obviously already had title Zoe.
Let's hope the wait is short.
I see a lot of couples with fertility problems in my job (adoption) one lady used this "natural Ivf method successfully but I've never found out what it is, it was far cheaper tho.
Love to Olivia hope its all gone well x

blizy · 23/10/2013 20:33

Nothing wrong that they can see at the minute, dh's sperm is good my hormones are good, I am ovulating. The HSG will check for any problems in my Fallopian tubes, but the dr doubted that there will be any. So it's beginning to look like unexplained infertility. I had an internal scan which showed an egg just about to be released, she prescribed us an early night Wink

Thewalkingdeadkr · 23/10/2013 21:45

Ha ha that's funny. So glad you are getting somewhere now though.

Reastie · 24/10/2013 07:42

blizy glad the ball is rolling for things doctor wise. A friend of mine had her tubes cleaned or something and conceived a few months afterwards, is that something they might do?

ledkr Grin to limp hot dog. DH hates halloween - says it's all some awful American thing and dislikes the idea of going begging for sweets Hmm but we've only ever had one trick of treater come to us (whom I didn't have anything for and think I gave them a digestive or something Blush ).

Granny if you have another bathroom then you can always have a working loo at least? Have you got a room you can turn into a makeshift bedroom for N&A whilst it's being done? We got a company in to do our kitchen work so they project managed all the building work which I couldn't have managed without as they organised when the electricians etc etc came in for us. Also gave him overall responsibility so they workers couldn't blame each other if anything went wrong as it was all down to the company. We went on holiday for a week though which was a godsend to get out of the way. But be wary of legging it to Glasgow for a long time to get out of the way as I was surprised how many decisions I had to make whilst they were in (which door frame would I like/which skirting board would I like/what finishing on things etc) so if you aren't there to check/answer these things you might find things aren't done exactly as you wanted. When are you getting it done?

Well, I was poorly sick yesterday - really high temperature and could barely even stand up Sad . ALice has it too. Thank goodness so far I seem a bit more human today (Alice seems to too) but was miserable yesterday. HAd to get DM to help with Alice, and then Alice was so ill she didn't want her she just wanted me or DH so DH had to come home from work. Am on my own today so fingers crossed I'm better enough to cope. It's going to be a serious duvet day today! Any ideas for easy and entertaining things to do with her all day so I can rest? I'm going to crack out a couple of her small christmas presents to keep her quiet (sticker books type things) and was thinking cbeebies and books and maybe colouring....but I've got 9 hours ahead of me..... Confused

wigglesrock · 24/10/2013 09:11

blizy good news, at least things are moving xxxx. Hope you're not too tired after your early night Wink

reastie hope you & Alice are feeling better. Sticker books & tv are the way forward. Anna could also spent hours with paper, safety scissors & a glue stick.

Olivia is doing brilliantly, op went really well & we were home teatime yesterday. Now to keep her medicated Smile

Yay! I got short listed!!!
Vote for me, I've never won anything in my entire life

Reastie · 25/10/2013 17:37

I voted for you ledkr Grin . Btw how did you get the genius name? I can never think of such good ideas.

wiggles hope Olivia is still doing well.

Thewalkingdeadkr · 25/10/2013 20:28

Aw thanks reastie
It came to me in a vision lol!!

Reastie · 25/10/2013 20:38

now ledkr, what have you been taking to give you these visions Grin ?

wigglesrock · 25/10/2013 22:58

I've done you too ledkr Smile , it's a fab name, best of them all.

reastie Olivia is doing grand, a few rough hours before teatime, when she's waiting on the good painkillers kicking in, but apart from that, she's doing very well. A bit "tired and emotional" but I think that's more to do with her missing out on some Halloweeny things. It's her birthday next week, and she was supposed to have a bit of a family do tomorrow but we've knocked that on the head, so it's a bit pants for her.

I am feeling a Christmassy kind of smug, thanks to Sainsburys toy sale Smile

Thanks for vote xx
I'm in a hotel bed in Brighton after just getting back froma club!
Na na. I'm hip n cool. Hmm

ILovePonyo · 28/10/2013 10:07

Hello all!

Ledkr what were you doing in Brighton clubbing it? What have I missed?! I need to vote for your namechange too, it's ace Grin

Wiggles hope O is ok the trooper.

Blizy how are you feeling after your appointments? It's good news but then must be frustrating too I imagine.

Reastie hope you coped with your 9 hours inside with A! Fwiw I would have stuck the telly on all day, alternating with iPad when necessary Wink

We are all fine, A had multiple birthday parties this month Hmm at one she went to she started really crying when they brought the cake out, big fat tears, then wailed when people started singing happy birthday "noooooo! It's MY birthdaaaaaay!!!" Me and dp had to take her outside and threaten her with going home with no party bag Grin luckily at the last one she kept it together Confused

She's also been having some cracking tantrums recently, none in public so I just ignore her and eventually she stops Smile

Thewalkingdeadkr · 28/10/2013 11:03

Yes vote for me please. I have sour grapes as the one set to win is obviously royalty and the name change is not clever at all!

Yes we went to see Craig Charles do his funk n soul set!
Amazing! We danced lots!
Had a lush weekend, eating drinking and went to see bad grandpa which is very funny!

Back to reality now. Dills is hyper to have us home,
Dh is just taking her for a windy walk as I'm at work then they will be carving pumpkins!
I'm not feeling left out as I sit I my warm office drinking coffee!.
Dills loves a good birthday party. She's so thick that she thinks its for her anyway!
A trip to frankie and bennys is a real treat as they sing to people every few minutes. She stands up and grins like a Cheshire Cat as if its her everyone is singing too!

ILovePonyo · 28/10/2013 12:02

Who is the mn royalty who will win? I don't recognise any Confused maybe ill vote for them instead Grin joking!

Your weekend sounds ace ledkr, I am jealous! I just snorted in the office at you describing D in frankie and bennys Grin We went to bella Italia yesterday and A scoffed a big bowl of pasta and then set her heart on mini donuts for pud, well they took so fecking long coming back to clear the plates that they'd sold out of donuts by then. So the manager woman said to A "do you want ice cream? Or a fruit lolly instead?" And A just stared her out and then said "no." And sat down in her chair with her arms folded staring at the woman the whole time Grin we got 10% off the bill!

Reastie · 28/10/2013 12:50

Ohh ledkr you're third place at the min. COME ON LADIES VOTE! Sounds like a fun week end

Ponyo Grin to the no donuts. Result on 10% off though.

Wiggles I heard there were some good bits in the sainsbos toy sale but didn't manage to go.

We are off to see Chris and Pui tomorrow .

blizy · 28/10/2013 13:29

I'll vote for you ledkr, where do I do it?

Thewalkingdeadkr · 28/10/2013 19:12

Thanks voters. Blizy link to poll on the mn post of the Halloween name change thread! Keep going

americanexpat · 28/10/2013 19:35

Vote here!

It took me ages to find it because I'm thick so I'm saving blizy the effort. Halloween Grin

Thewalkingdeadkr · 28/10/2013 19:44

Aw thanks! I'm touched. Lovely ladies. A link it a fab idea

blizy · 28/10/2013 20:14

Just voted ledkr, thanks for the link American.

ILovePonyo · 28/10/2013 20:17

oh I voted earlier, but thought it hadn't worked, but it must have done bcos I can't vote again. Hm. You're not far behind ledkr!

Reastie · 28/10/2013 20:30

Ohh ledkr, I vote off second place at the minute . When do they take the final vote cast?

Thewalkingdeadkr · 28/10/2013 22:13

Come on there were hundreds of us before!

Grannyapple · 29/10/2013 16:09

Right I'm obviously v thick!! How the feck do I vote?! All I can see is the graph showing ledkr in 2nd place?!
