Here's the new place to chat about all our wonderful babies, while they still are babies.

aw, c&c'smommy, my Caitlin had the same surgery on her eye aged about 20 months and it cleared up the problem straightaway

PanicPants · 25/07/2006 21:21

Poor caitlin, fingers crossed it has worked for her c&cmommy.

A tambourine? What a great pressie Kate. I can imagine the resulting noise! Ds' favourite thing thing is a wooden spoon and a tin to bang on. Maybe they should start up a band!

hope things work for caitlin C&Cmommy poor wee soul.

Brambalina love the photo of Jaxon what a lovely little boy from what i remember of the last photo he is very like you?

I've just spent a big part of the day today (whilst ds was asleep) creating a "diary" from all my postings on the antenatal thread (and my labour thread and birth announcement threads), and will add my postnatal ramblings soon. It occurred to me that I have got a step-by-step description of ds from conception on and although it is all available to look at now, it may not be ten, twenty years down the line. I thought it would be a nice thing to print out and keep, to show my dcs when they have their own kids, or just to look back on in my old age! It has been lovely looking back through all the posts, reading the comments and following all the stories . I think I'm going to have to do a wee bit of editing though, because there are lots of "oooh yes josey, IKWYM" and "Kate100, really?" type comments, which make no sense on their own!

On a happy note, ds pulled himself up to standing today, then let go ! Did it several times too - clever boy! He looked so pleased with himself

what a nice idea Maiou i struggle remembering some of the things now!!

DD has a new trick if you ask her how big she is today she stretches her arms up above her head as if to say this big it was her granny that has taught her that i dont know what the benefit of it is but its really cute

we are having lovely heavy rain showers today im so glad as it saves me watering the garden

bramblina · 28/07/2006 00:30

Josey, do you mean from the paper? Miaou, ds is in Lochaber News Bonnie Babies, today!

josey · 28/07/2006 15:43

yes brambalina its the North Star i get though practically the same paper - see they are doing it in the ross-shire now the vouchers are for a friend of mines shop in dingwall Tiny Togs.

DD has started saying uh uh as i say uh uh dont touch etc but today i had something of hers and was teasing her and she said uh uh muma it was really sweet just made me roar with laughter

Miaou · 28/07/2006 17:29

Aw, gorgeous bramblina! What a lot of hair he has too! Ds has loads of hair too, I really must cut it as it's getting in his eyes!

We took the kids to the beach a couple of days ago, ds's first visit to the beach. He was absolutley thrilled with the sand, after a quick investigation he decided that it was better to play with than eat, and spent the rest of the afternoon chuckling away and kicking his legs in the water! Bless
