thank you for the welcomes:)

ds is called luke. Feeding went better today, as there was less of it - my milk has finally come in, on day 5. HV visited today, she is lovely and seems to know a thing or two about bf, for which I'm thankful. Had a terrible time with DS1 and bfing, mainly due to pressure from HV, she was obsessed with charts and weighing. Have done a lot of reading in preparation for DS2 so hoping it goes better. Told HV today that my milk was only coming in and she suggested she would come back on weds to weigh him, so happy with that:)

A is so noisy breathing & seems to get choked up & cough more after a feed. Bit worried, but there's nothing specific iyswim to tell me its not just 1am anxiety/tiredness/Mummy worry. He isn't seem to struggle to breathe or looking blue or any of those major signs... Just don't like it that he's poorly.

My arse is raw :( The only relief I get is stood up!!

Please god let the midwife be able to come early in the morning. I can feel myself considering sterilising some scissors at this rate Blush.

I hope it is the stitch causing the problem. If it isn't, i'll cry!!!!

Ok I'm vain. My son has turned in ear lops. From where he was squished in my tummy. One side is worse. N I always try n make sure it's flat when he is asleep or with hat on. But if he accidentally sleeps with it folded in it gets worse again. So I've taped his lope down. Blush. I'm not having him teased all his life for having weird ears. He already has spok ears (slightly pointed at top) and I can't do anything about that. Oh man my LO has freak ears. Sad lol.
Just put the tape on n he is still sleeping. So I'm going to convince myself it's ok. It's microporous tape. Hope it's ok to use?!?

Ouch detective hope mw does come early. H is super grouchy tonight ~ dh has taken to trying to reason with him, along the lines of ?come along now. You?ve been fed and changed. You don?t need to cry now, there?s no point?. It isn?t working Smile. Hate it when there?s so much of the night still left.
Ps Welcome mammalion and congrats pikz that sounds a very full on birth story.

Other day det I squated down to check on LO who was on floor on playmat. Omg it hurt down there! N that was 5 weeks on. Not really done much walking or house work, wonder if that would help/hinder the healing down there.

First feed of the night for us but DS fed a lot between 6pm and 10pm and had very bad wind. Resorted to infacol. He isn't all red and angry after this feed, so hoping it has done the trick. Horrible to see him so obviously distressed.

Welcome Freddie and Pikz.detective hope you get things sorted and more comfortable soon.

Hi all....night feeding here too. Babypriscilla loves to feed, but I think is suffering from reflux, so doesn't settle easily afterwards.

Morning all! Was really hoping I'd have graduated here yesterday, but no...been having contractions for 28 hours now, but they're not getting close enough together to head to the hospital yet. I really want to meet my baby!

Bloody muslins are bloody useless, and sick of sleeping in sick, changing everyone's pjamas in the middle of the night and having an over flowing washing basket. Feeling a bit crap.

Because of Os cold when we feed at night, He coughs afterwards bringing an oz or so back up. I am down a pillow tonight, have towel over part of wherei sleep have changed us both twice and now he won't settle.

Welcome to all the newbies. I think you will like it here.

A moment to write a proper post. Sorry about last night I had one of those "everything is too much moments". The fact I have managed to get up, showered and dressed before everyone makes me feel better. We had actually had a better night last night than the last few so I shouldn't co plain really. The boys went to bed with a story at 18:45, I went to bed after a bath at 19:45 I woke Little O at 21:45 for a feed at settled him back down just after 11 and sick incident number one for the evening. He woke me at 02:45 for a feed and sick incident number two, I managed to get him settled back down for 04:20 ish.

People from church were supposed to start making our dinners yesterday when DH went back to work but the lady last night forgot! I felt weepy about that as well. Luckily DH had decided to work from home and so whipped something up while I put the boys to bed and then I could get a bath. I think I have just hit a bit of a tiredness wall.

More later DH back to work DS in nursery tie to start getting into a routine I think.

Xx

Daisy not cute! Ill put a pic in FB later lol. soph glad about ur dd! Means my LO has a chance his ears wil get normalish

Nxt one- head shape. Blush. Lots of ppl r telling me that if LO sleeps on one side of his head it will be in even, or creat a misshaped head.

Now I think this is true as my cousins LO had this prob, but he wouldn't sleep in any other position, n it was visible that one side of his head was flat. n at 6months they got this special hat thing he had to keep on ALL the time to fix it. But just wondering if this is a cultural thing or is everyone aware of this?

Right try for another 2 hours sleep. Grin
