Need air con have had two showers allready today and will need to have one before and one after work the way I feel atm.

D is grotty as he hasn't had more than an hours sleep today in 5 min cat naps due to the heat. DD is grotty too as she is also too hot. Both kids seem a little chesty though and I am hoping that they aren't comming down with anything.

Shouldn't really complain cause I will soon moan when the weather turns cold and miserable.

Hello .

Back from lovely holiday.

Computer stil not fixed (grr) so I am in very hot library having a quick peek at Mumsnet. Will read what I have missed now...

PS Can we have a new thread soon please? Alice still doesn't ever sleep through and when I see the title I keep womndering why I ever thought she would .

beatie, apart from the fact that my Alice has two teeth, they are almost the same .

She sits, almost bounces, leans forwards, tries to move and get one leg stuck underneath her . No rolling either. DS was crawling fast and cruising at this age - I am glad Alice still stays where I put her.

Are we still planning to have meeting up at some time in July? I am too lazy to check back in the thread, but would still be interested. Preferably Tuesday or Friday but could probably do another day.

Alice weighs about 18.5 lb I think. She had slipped from 50%th to 25% percentile whenever I last got her weighed, but no one minds (especially me).

I start back at work a week today - it would have been today but I moved it by a week (and given the heat I am glad I did).

Hiya PC

Yes still hoping some of us will meet up - 25th July for the south - Kew? I think it would be lovely to see... or would it be easier to go to Central London - we could meet somewhere close to one of the parks

Feedback needed girls...

Anyone still interested in Chester on the 15th? or shall Mummyhill and I just make it one of our little get-togethers?

xxx

wabbitt · 03/07/2006 17:23

Hope your return to work goes well PC

You'll have to tell us about your lovely holiday - other peoples holidays are the closest I'm going to get to a holiday this year...

Simplyred · 03/07/2006 20:29

Still hoping to do 15th Wabbitt in Chester - however a very good friend died today and awaiting details of funeral which they said would be in about 10 days so not sure?! It will also be heat dependent as I think it will take 3 hours each way. Sadly still cant make 25th due to classes.

Very sad today - questioning life the universe and everything - we had no warning and it was his birthday too cryed when I was told but feel stangely vague now? Best go eat chocolate and drink wine - he would like that!

wabbitt · 03/07/2006 20:38

SimplyRed - love to you at this sad time -

hope you'll be able to meet up at some point, if Jaamy and Bubbles don't think they can make Chester M/hill and I could meet at a time more suitable to you - and maybe somewhere a little closer. Where are you?

Simplyred · 03/07/2006 22:15

Thanks Wabbitt - I'm in mid Bedfordhire.

Glad the holiday was good PC - and hope work goes well.

milward · 03/07/2006 23:13

Simplyred - sorry for your sad news.

Wabbit - it's my language here! - meant I've not watched any matches so far rather than about to catch up on the action

It's sooo hot!! got a pop up tent today - fab as now have 3 tents & kids can play 'village' in the garden in the shade.

mummyhill · 04/07/2006 00:23

Hugs to you at this sad time SR.

Not sure if I can get to Chester and back in time for work on the 15th as I can't get the night off. So we could meet some where and time more convenient for you SR.

Wabbitt yopu still up for a coffee on Friday? If so where and when hunny? If not when would you like to get together next? Give me a call if it is easier.

mummyhill · 04/07/2006 00:32

Not seen many of you on the quiz recently. Go give it another go and whilst you are at it look at the web address in the communication box and give me your opinion of the site it takes you to. Only managed to get it up and running recently and it possibly needs a bit of fine tunning so you advice/comments would be most welcome.

milward · 04/07/2006 10:04
