Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Chulita · 16/07/2012 20:51

Oh memphis how crap that you've got to wait that long, hope all's well when they test again!

I'm off to bed, just wanted to say that my bakewell tart tastes amazing and that S trotted into the kitchen today having put his own trousers on...

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 17/07/2012 19:15

See the thread has crashed and burned again... :(

DesperateHousewife21 · 17/07/2012 19:22

Umm

I feel like a big heffalump already Confused

memphis83 · 17/07/2012 20:01

Im still here but no one else is, dh you are not a hefferlump my friend is as far gone as you and cannot fit in her maternity stuff any more she has now bought size 16 mat stuff and she was a size 8!
I went snooping at wedding dresses and have found exactly what i want and been told its going in their sale in august ao tempted to get it

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 17/07/2012 20:07

Bet it's her first though memph - with ds1 I couldn't get into either of my mamas and papas trousers after 28 weeks. I wore them with ds2 until I had him, case of total overindulgence in my first pregnancy - I was much more aware the second time around.

I would be tempted in one sense memph but it's a long way away...could you be sure you wouldn't change your mind? What did the consultant say about you ttc?

Took the boys out this afternoon and it all went horribly wrong :( How have I got to the point where W thinks his wish is my command? He acts like the most spoilt boy in the world, yet it's not like I give in to him (I don't think Confused) all the time.

Chulita · 17/07/2012 20:15

It was me, I killed it by boasting about how S can dress himself (bottom half only).

dh you'll only feel huge, you're not really. You don't get really big til the last month

mlisc I was thinking the exact same thing re S. He had his 2 year check today (impromptu, I took L for something only to find she'd already had it so they asked if I could dash home and bring S instead Confused ) and he was awful - wouldn't do anything she asked, slumped around saying 'no', completely ignored me...I couldn't help but think back to when L had her 2 year check and how comparatively easy it was. He acts so spoiled and tantrums all the time. ARGH!

I just depressed myself a bit by seeing a photo of me and S when he was 4 months old and I was back in my pre-pg jeans. I tried them on yesterday and while I can squeeze into them they look horrendous and are just not big enough at all.

memphis I'd get it if it was the perfect one, sales don't come that often and those dresses are an arm and a leg!

viksam · 17/07/2012 20:43

Im here but i feel like all i do is moan so im not posting too much
mylife it must be so draining, I know when D has the devil in him its such hard work. What does he do or not do? And how do you react?
memphis I agree with mylife unless you want that part of things boxed off asap it is quite soon.
chu glad the tarts were nice, i really dont know how you get the motivation. S putting his trousers on is really good, D is nowhere near doing that he can hardly take his socks off!!!
Well today i took D back to the osteopath as his waking at night has got really bad again and has continued for 7 nights now (apart from last night but he did wake for the day at 5.40 which i think is still night time!) She said that he felt very tight again in the back of his head so shes done a lot of work on him today. He was really good and sat really still, thank god for the megasketch, its brilliant and he loves drawing so it kept him nice and still and quiet. We took F to to docs yesterday about how he is, also he has really sore skin under his chin and its spreading down his chest, she perscribed a steroid cream as the antibiotic cream and the fungal cream havent worked, hopefully this will. We explained to the doc (a locum) how he is, crying all the time, bad tummy cramps, disturbed sleep due to wind, bad nappies etc etc so she has perscribed us soya formula milk which i have started today so only time will tell if he gets any better, the chin skin could be eczema which i have read can go hand in hand with an intolerance. memphis remind me is L intolerant and thats why hes on soya? Was there anyone else with any issues like that? If it works and we continue with the perscription milk its gona save us a fortune!!
Mamouth mememe post, sorry!

memphis83 · 17/07/2012 20:46

mlic I have to wait to ask a consultant next thursday, he is coming from a different hospital to see me as they struggled to find the one med that worked and now tey think its stopped working I think it will all depend onif tey find a solution.
The first wedding book I Read I saw a dress and fell in love, no shop stocks it or can seem to get it...my friend gave me loads of books and looked throug hem all not liking any dress (dh and my family vetoed a shorter dress as its not 'traditional') so this was only dress I like, I looked at loads of dresses today quite a few I liked but didnt wow me apart from this dress that is so like one I fell in love with minus straps which shop can add she also said 6 brides have bought their dresses thats wedding are after ours.

L lay on floor this afternoon sobbing for daddy as es been away I just ignored him as he was lashing out. Then when I wouldnt let him ride scooter in corner shop he had meltdown and threw packets off shelves!

memphis83 · 17/07/2012 20:47

Sorry for crap spellings left my glasses at mums and fat fingers on phone!

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 17/07/2012 21:22

E tantrums and I ignore. W tantrums...I can't put into words how he gets under my skin. Vik if you have any success I will consider revisiting the osteopath!

W got a bad rash under his chin when he was younger and still gets patches of eczema now, on his chin and his cheeks.

memphis83 · 17/07/2012 21:32

vik im convinced he is intolerant, if he has dairy he rashes up, from what I have been told soya is easily digested. I had terrible rashes as a baby and was put on goat milk. Fingers crossed it works for you.
mlic I really cant believe how different your boys are, I hope L snaps out of them soon it really winds me up!

WhatSheSaid · 18/07/2012 01:58

I'm finding it harder to post in the daytime as, thanks to her older sister, G has worked out that the iPad and PC both have GAMES on them and every time I go near either of them she rushes up and tries to take over.

We have been to playgroup this morning and the local firemen visited to give a talk to the kids. There were a lot of quite dressed-up mums, So the visit was possibly more for the mums than the kids :).

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 18/07/2012 08:45

Hehe that's funny wss. I have really never got the fireman thing...I can't recall ever having seen a fireman I found attractive Confused

Memph, nor can I!

memphis83 · 18/07/2012 11:43

L has cried and cried that he needs a weewee, he just sits on potty and wont release....then after an hour he finally did one! I danced around cheering telling him how good he is, maybe its the start of a few wee's remotely near the potty he was so pleased with himself then cried when I flushed it down the toilet!
Im having the laziest day today, I will get dressed this afternoon we need some supplies!

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 18/07/2012 11:53

I'm not dressed either. But to be fair I have been ironing for the last two hours...and still not finished

memphis83 · 18/07/2012 12:29

Ah my ironing took over 2 hours yesterday! and that was bare minimum ironed, but I hadnt done it for weeks!

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 18/07/2012 12:56

I've done all the clothes, just have about 4 of dh's shirts left to iron now and the washing that's in the machine and the load that's still in the washbag

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 18/07/2012 13:49

Done Grin

MyLifeIsStillChaotic · 18/07/2012 14:31

Bored.

viksam · 18/07/2012 15:22

haha wss thats funny, i'd be there with bells on!! D and F are going to know loads about dangerous animals due to me having to watch deadly 60 every day in the vain hope that steve takes his shirt off!!! Although i did turn it over today cos D was so grumpy and kept bringing me the remote!
I have found someone to do my ironing!!!! she charges by the hour and i gave her what i considered to be loads, about 10 shirts some of my tops and some of D's shirts and she charged me £7, i think thats a bargain and worth every penny!!
Anyone there?

viksam · 18/07/2012 15:26

mylife are u still bored? I have cleaned due to company this morning and have washing in the dryer, bottles are washed and the kitchen is tidy and the dish washer is on and i even fitted a kip in! My friend who came this morning has a boy 5 weks older than D but my god, hes huge and so loud and boisterous, i went to put F down and was amazed that he settled due to the horrendous noise. D didnt settle for a while he was so wired.
Its pissing down here but i NEED to shop! bummer.

Chulita · 18/07/2012 15:33

I too have had a productive day, 3 loads of washing done, trip to Aldi done, 6 loads sorted and put away [shameful], sandpit half dismantled and proper lid put on, kitchen tidied/swept and tea ready to be cooked in about an hour.
I'm now trying to fend off grumpy S til bedtime and would like B to unlatch so I can crochet this granny square that's taking longer than it should!

memphis83 · 18/07/2012 15:44

viks any difference with the milk yet?
chul why you dismantling the sanpit? have you given up on summer already? I put ours away as L was just piling sand on the dog and wouldnt actually sit in it!
I have prepped tonights tea (carbonara) and have a chicken casserole on for tomorrow so I get something decent after work, cleaned the kitchen, L keeps pooping, he has been constipated for days saying his poo hurts so now he is clearing out, any ideas on why the hell he is constipated, he drinks more than he has ever drank, he also has so many strawberries I dont know how he isnt shitting through the eye of a needle, its baffling.
We have just had an almighty storm here, L was determined to go out there, he loved it, was facinated as big ploppy rain got him, he was soaked to the skin and still wanted to go out but when thunder started I made him come in!

Spirael · 18/07/2012 15:47

Ironing..? What is this ironing you all speak of? Hmm

OP posts:
Chulita · 18/07/2012 16:05

Grin no memphis, we had a plastic cover on it but when it rains the water pools and drags it down. It also has a wigwam that can go over the top and I was afraid the supports would poke holes in the plastic cover so I ordered a wooden lid and unscrewed the supports so it would fit over. It's crap cos it's only been sunny enough to set the wigwam up once, the rest of the time it's lid-off-lid-on.

I wish s would learn to sleep, I'm convinced this constant whinging is cos he's overtired. Sleep at 8.30pm last night, up at 05.30 and that's normal. No matter how long his naps are, what we do during the day or what time I put him to bed, that's what he'll sleep and then he's a right misery all day long.
