seven77 · 01/04/2012 10:28

long ago it was. Are you pregnant? Apologies if you posted the outcome already and I missed it.

msbuggywinkle · 01/04/2012 10:40

Pics on fb!

awch it was soooooo numb! Was really quite lovely to sit down for so long though.

kitty RIP washing machine I think?

Kitty5824 · 01/04/2012 10:46

msb they look awesome.

yep, just got the last load out of the machine and there is a big dent in the drum so it won't spin anymore. It's not our machine, rented with the house, but this likely means no new machine till after I've moved out (Me, the baby, the cats and our stuff move on Fri, DH follows the week after, the lease actually ends on the 27th).

Seb will be alright for clothes, but both his sleep bags are waiting to be washed and I'll def run out of clean muslins and bibs before Fri. Off to post on fb and hope for some offers of laundry assistance...

Kitty5824 · 01/04/2012 10:54

Ugh, and Ive just realised I'm going to have to pull the bloody thing out to clean the top of the machine and behind/under it before anyone come to replace it. 'Cos I'm weird like that Wink

OiMissus · 01/04/2012 12:27

Nice dreds msb!
Glorious day again, but far too lazy to do anything. Drinking coffee, sat in the conservatory, baby gurgling away happily on his mat, eating his hands and toys, dog asleep, dH reading about techy stuff (dreaming about what we would have in the new house --which will never happen, fabulous furnishings and decor are my priority!), house is tidy, dishwasher on, all evidence of last night's drinkfest is in the recycling bin, all is well with the world. Grin
Just got to pack up our stuff and go home, but this conservatory is so nice we may have to claim squatter's rights til our house purchase completes.

Bee Don't worry, all my kids have been called 'it' 'that' and 'thing' at various times in their lives:o

Thanks for the well wishes, the steroids are kicking in, I can feel a loosening in the old airways. My temp finally came down at about six too so I feel much more human today.

Got curry in the slow cooker and am going to unpack the new telly in a bit, the kids are desperate to test it and mean mother that I am it's been sat in the box for a fortnightWink

AnAirOfHope · 01/04/2012 13:41

OiMissus · 01/04/2012 15:51

One week to go before I'm properly back on the internet!
Have woken up a bit now (did make it to church with the aid of a stiff coffee) but since we returned DS has been having a feedfest so not got anythimg done. Never mind, it's a lovely day, will chain-drink hot beverages and try to forget the knitted shorties I have just ordered...
Really must have another try at knitting sometime, I love sewing and can naalbind, the theory is probably not so different... It's so satisfying creating stuff, I made DD2's dolly a new dress and leggings last night and she loves them...

Figgygal · 01/04/2012 17:27

Back recovered, now a bit hungover As was out for lunchtime/early evening drinks yesterday. Just remembering i did a pg test on 1st april last yr which said negative so i went off and had a bottle of wine.....oops since i clearly was pg.

Another draw something addict here (i was hooked within minutes) username victocrew. Lets play!!!

seven77 · 01/04/2012 18:26

figgy and oi I'll add you both later, I'm

lmf glad you're on the mend

I haven't stopped being broody since DS was born in 2008! I found out I was pregnant on 7th April, I can't believe this time last year we were all finding out we were pregnant.

Plans for the week:
Monday speech therapy for DS.
Tuesday is my birthday and Eva has her 3rd jabs in the morning. Going to see my friend in the afternoon and out for dinner in the evening
Wednesday smear test.
Thursday taking DS to the zoo as a treat to make up for the awful experience at GOSH because I really feel like I let him down :(

LittleMissFlustered · 01/04/2012 19:14

I think I'm in for a rough week. Octopi don't seem to approve of drug-laced milk:( he's shouting at the boob, feeding in a fragmented manner and really not sleeping too well >_<

One day down, six more and one to clear the system to go:(

aethelfleda · 01/04/2012 19:38

It may be his age too, lmf, we're a drug-free zone over here (apart from the usual caffeine) and we have had a really unsettled day, DS has not slept for longer than 20 mins and then only when held, punctuated by intense bouts of feeding/stropping/wriggling/conking out and then the cycle is repeated. Our DSs are but a few days apart so lets pretend its a growth spurt thingy cos then it will settle sooner....

aethelfleda · 01/04/2012 19:42

Aha!! Here's from the wisdom vault at Kellymom...
It's a growth spurt, I tells ye. Be reassured ((surreptitious hug))

"When do babies have growth spurts?
Common times for growth spurts are during the first few days at home and around 7-10 days, 2-3 weeks, 4-6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months and 9 months (more or less). Babies don?t read calendars, however, so your baby may do things differently."

aethelfleda · 01/04/2012 19:45

And seven, no guilt, missus!!
I'm sure DS will love the zoo though. I have to wirk out some things to do with our three cos DH can't get time off over the hols except easter weekend proper. Bowling may happen, I'm thinking parks, woods and picnics highly likely...

LittleMissFlustered · 01/04/2012 20:03

I thought growth spurt too, but I know prednisolone is vile stuff so it's probably not helping matters, especially as I'm taking the max dose permitted for feeding a milk vampire:/

Thanks for the coffee. I lost half an Easter egg earlier. The older two are denying knowledge and aren't the best liars so I'm stuffed if I know where it went >_<

He's in his crib now. Wide awake. I'm sat on the stairs waiting for him to drop off, I'm desperate for my bed!

Rashkakeller · 01/04/2012 20:31

Hey Lmf, maybe your ds had the egg!! I'm sure my ds runs round the room when I pop out (a'la Andy from Little Britain) because he's always facing a different way!

Ah growth spurt...hoping that's the reason for my little monkey's feeding frenzy! Weighed him today on our scales and he's about 15lb 12oz (only accurate to nearest quarter of a pound) and he's just over 15 weeks. Must check the percentiles because I'm refusing to go to the hv because they didn't turn up for a home visit and haven't been in touch since.

I'm another addictee (that should be a word) of draw something but can't remember if my name is same as this one or just rashka. Will hunt you all out!

Aethel, love the shorties! My little guy mostly rocks multi coloured sleepsuits for bed and clashing long sleeve vests with shirts over the top during the day. I'm quite partial to green as well but admittedly do have a fair bit of blue!!

Seven, as others have said, don't feel guilty, you're a fab mummy. But enjoy the zoo!!

Right kids in bed, need shower...

LittleMissFlustered · 01/04/2012 20:45

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest Rashka as I am convinced that babies share cats ninja skillz...

Right, after changing the bed from this mornings vomit fountain, feeding the cheeky little sod as I tried to give him a cuddle and he just tipped himself sideways into the position and taking all the tablets in the universe I am finally going to sleep. All three spawns are silent so I am making the most of it. Tomorrow I will be being a bad mum and parking the older two in front of the newly assembled new telly and letting them watch DVDs to their hearts content:o

LittleMissFlustered · 01/04/2012 20:46

Draw something/Words with Friends: OctopusWrangler

LittleMissFlustered · 01/04/2012 20:47

As for cute baby leg wear, go on eBay and search for baby leggings. They're better than they sound, trust me.

Right, going now >_

OiMissus · 01/04/2012 22:14

How do I switch to DrawSomething -the paid for version- without losing my games on the free version? I've installed it. Do i log out? Or do I just have to start again? (I've only been playing it for a couple of days and I'm seeing the same words repeated.)

OP posts:
LittleMissFlustered · 01/04/2012 23:10

Just log in, your games are in your account name, not the app.

LittleMissFlustered · 02/04/2012 02:38

LittleMissFlustered · 02/04/2012 04:06

Still here:(

scoobyd00 · 02/04/2012 04:46

Here as well lmf just too exhausted to post much. Hope you're feeling better.
