So we could soon have a baby ed and a baby cheshire the way things are going!!!!!!

sassy34264 · 18/01/2012 22:20

bb3 well it got worse and then it got better. had a little cry cos i feel a bit down and then decided to go shopping! only tesco- but still.......
took dp's card and spent over £100 and the only thing to eat where 2 half price pizzas and feta cheese. Grin
bought myself a hairdryer, a cookbook and some dumb bells. very random.
rest was toileties and cleaning stuff.
felt good to just get out of the house. was gone 2 hours, so took eva with me.

eva's scan was a bit Hmm he says she is boderline. not quite normal but not so far over not normal as to do anything about it. Confused im not normally Confused but i have severe baby brain, they baffle your head at the best of times and i had to really concentrate to understand as his accent was quite hard to catch what he is saying
just ended up saying 'so you're happy with her hips then' and he said yes. someone has pointed out that with all the suing that goes on, they would be cautious. but some are useless and get it wrong sometimes...........oh i dont know! i'll wait for the letter and see what it says.

gave in today and bought eva a dummy. my mum influenced me a bit last night without meaning too. eva is a thumb sucker- the 1st in the family and she was telling a guy she works with, who has a lot of kids/grandkids and he said be careful as one of his grandkids did it and shes now 10yr, still does it and her teeth stick out.

nicknames! god i could be here forever. dp is the one that makes the most up.
jacob- fatman, squidgy bum, big man, little bugger! gorgeous specimen
isobel- pixie dust, chicken, princess tippy toes, baldilocks, crazy lady
eva- ginger nut, little bundle of loveliness,

to name a few.

FuzzzyDuck · 18/01/2012 22:31

sassy I didn't realise there was problems with her hips. I guess u can take it as good though that they are happy. Has E to have any follow up scans? Know what you mean about thumb sucker. I know a girl who is 11 and still sucks her thumb and twirls her hair when she is watching tv or tired! Think that's why I gave S one when she started on hers. Figured it would be easier in the long run to ditch the dummy. Can't exactly chop off her thumb!

MamaMaiasaura · 18/01/2012 22:37

My ds who's almost 12 is thumb sucker. His teeth don't stick out Grin he only does it a bit in bed and occasional infront of box. He also twiddles hair. Ds2 never did but he bfed till Jessica came home. Jessica suck thumb/fist/muzzy. Not going to give dummy as never bothered with the boys.

Ed - already got travel it from kiddicare sale, arrived today. Wish I'd known about graco one.

Hoping for better night tonight fx

sassy34264 · 18/01/2012 22:51

fuzzy no, they have signed her off now. she had clunking/clicking hips when she was born. apparently a lot do, but because i had a cast for my hips when i was born, they said they wanted to scan her.

i had a dummy for dd1 and it was a bit of a nightmare weaning her off it (4yrs old) i got some for j&i, but had to chuck them all when i/they got thrush and never bothered to replace them.

isobel twiddles jacob's hair when they are drinking their warm milk. he just lets her. extremely cute!

FuzzzyDuck · 18/01/2012 22:59

Aww that's very sweet!!! Grin

MamaMaiasaura · 18/01/2012 23:03

The twins sound soooo cute Grin bless Jacob. (love the names)

Glad hips all ok then, it's Sad when they are in casts

SconesForTea · 18/01/2012 23:07

Aah to the hair twiddling sassy FX that Eva's hips are fine.

I have tried to give DD2 a dummy but she won't have it. Or a bottle, more hysterics when we tried yesterday Sad She hasn't found her thumb tho. I sucked mine til I was 19 Blush My 36yo sister still sucks hers!

SconesForTea · 18/01/2012 23:09

As for birth control I'm using bf for now, as I didn't get my periods til DD1 was 9m and I'm having the coil fitted on a week or so. Hope i'm not going to come a cropper.

sassy34264 · 18/01/2012 23:23

if only you knew! its definately 50/50. cute verses vicious. j has a obsession tendency to take every single thing that isobel has, off her. she cries, tantrums, until she has had ENOUGH and then sinks her teeth into him.
its got to the point now, that isobel thinks everything belongs to her, cos we are forever taking stuff off jacob to give back to isobel. so she's now taking stuff off him and then paddying when we give it back to him. honestly, its a fecking nightmare! Grin

sassy34264 · 18/01/2012 23:25

thanks mamma x

CheshireDing · 19/01/2012 03:41

Scheh P wakes up furious too. She goes from sleeping to enraged very quickly!

Emmaz I thought they were supposed to be good actually the CAB. I just concluded that if your situation was slightly different from their normal dealings they had no idea. When I initially went in to enquire the lady said ?now we cannot give investment advice?, to which I thought who the hell would ask CAB for investment advice!? And she said ?so you?re unemployed?, er, no, I work full time (when not off with P). At my appointment today he said ?well you may have been entitled to blah but the government is changing the rules so you will not be entitled?. Er, thanks for that. He spent longer whittering on about how they had to put the info on the computer and waving his hand in front of the screen ? as though I was dim and had never seen a computer before.

BB3 that was it, he gave me 3 printed pages about mat leave for subsequent pregnancies (and I had to read that 4 times before I even slightly understood it). I am pretty sure we are due bugger off still but it?s very hard to find out.

Naughty Edward Wink

Sassy congratulations on the random shopping and hope E?s hips are okay.

Could be Scones too at this rate. I am bf so only realised the other day that if I don't have a period nothing is "likely" to happen baby wise anyway, [ditzy emoticon], Still on pill at moment though.

Scheherezade · 19/01/2012 07:43

Thing is, period comes AFTER ovulation, so it could be that first time that gets you....

C woke at 5.30, fed and back to sleep. I could really do without these night feeds again! Then dad woke him at 7, and he did an almighty poo (c, not dad Wink. Then as I went to feed him, I swear he almost tried to launch himself onto my boob! Didn't give me chance to lay him sown, just NOM! he's started grunting too as I go to put him on, just proper impatience "oh where is it, get in my mouth right now!" He's gone to sleep now, fx he'll go back to sleep for an hour for me.......

MamaMaiasaura · 19/01/2012 07:46

So tired.ds2 woke up crying and woke J at around 2/3 no sleep since for me as J had milk then ds2 needed loo and J needed more milk and ds2 needed breakfast. No preschool either so zero chance of hiding away with J for sneaky nap.

Scheherezade · 19/01/2012 08:02

I say that every morning don't I Grin

Well he got wind, so we're up. The dog seems thoroughly pissed off with me for some reason and has disappeared off to the spare room...

Good news sassy about E's hips. Let's hope they stay ok.

I've never had any luck with the CAB, Cheshire.

Another one who refuses the dummy, though we can get him to have a bottle

Scheherezade · 19/01/2012 08:04

Crossed posts mama , sorry you had a rough night :( only 12 hours till bed!

Engelsmeisje · 19/01/2012 08:36

always so much reading to catch up on.

was scanning through our old an threads last night. so many people who posted at the beginning and then disappeared never to return. wonder where they are? did any of you change your names between an and pn threads?

actually made me miss being pregnant - started hinting to DH about number 2! (so had a giggle this morning when reading that quite a few of you rae using bf as contraception...maybe some of us will be on the october 2012 thread Grin ).

realised that I can put some of my wedding photos on our fb page now (didn't want to out myself on the thread way back when).

have decided to drop our dream feed now and just let M do his own thing. was still having to get up once in the night anyway, just shifted to an hour earlier now, and he still sleeps through til 7/8.

M's official nicknames are munchkin and milk monster (have dropped Mummy's little Shitter for fear of permanent emotional damage...and accidentally saying in front of my MIL).

glass to hear e's hips are okay sassy. nothing like a good shop to make you feel better. today is DH's daddy day, though the lazy arse is still in bed. going to make the most of it and pop into town on my own later. have to get a new sports bra (tried a few weeks ago but M started howling as soon as I got in the changing room - like his dad, HATES clothes shopping!).

rainy and dark here... should be going for a run but can't quite summon the energy yet.

sassy34264 · 19/01/2012 09:05

engel that reminds me, dp used to call isobel a shit machine! Grin

bilblio · 19/01/2012 09:06

Good news about e's hips sassy.

Seth had a dummy but now refuses it and prefers his thumb. DP sucks his thumb at night, his teeth are slightly out, and he has hard bits on his thumb. My boss does too. She's got a brace at the moment, but I still catch her sucking. :) my nieces all suck their fingers and they're always ill.

Nicknames, little man, monster, seffy (we should have picked a name DD could say :o ) DD is mostly lump, although Seth fits this description better, occasionally goblin goons still, and they're both my munchkins.

Scheherezade · 19/01/2012 09:41

That's interesting you're dropping the dream feed Engel, are you bf? Just wondering as it has occurred to me, but then,8-8 is a long time to go....

Did our first controlled crying this morning, he was in his chair with his favorite comfort blanket, had fed an hour ago,

Scheherezade · 19/01/2012 09:47

Haha he pressed send on my phone!

Anyway, he was in the bathroom with me whilst I got a shower. And he started proper crying to be picked up. So I left him, then he just stopped! Took him through to the bedroom and had a little cuddle, then laid him down on the bed whilst I got dressed and the same thing happened, and eventually he stopped! He was proper bawling as well, but I was half naked..! Once he stopped and I got dressed I picked him up for a cuddle. Am hoping this is a good sign that he'll stop being quite so clingy, and that I'm learning when to pick him up and when not!

He's doing his usual laying on the playmat looking thoroughly bored and refusing to move at all play, but I'm off for brekkie.

Scheherezade · 19/01/2012 10:43

Awww, he fed and has dropped off in my arms

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 19/01/2012 12:30

Ooh engel do post some wedding pics, I love looking at wedding pics Grin

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 19/01/2012 12:55

OH MY GOD!!! There are snowballs falling from the sky!!! Have about half an inch in 10 mins!!!! Shock

Scheherezade · 19/01/2012 12:59

eeek! Where do you live??
