Yy to belly fat, ledkr, get a stomach ache if do my jeans up.. Sad

Dh gave me a lie-in this morning as I've had a headache for the last two days. Still hasn't gone though. Haven't been out yet (still only half ten here) as dh is waiting for his Mum to skype back. Took the kids to a roller skate party yesterday. A did really well for the first time, even taking part in the limbo competition! E looked like a newborn giraffe though!

Hi Hubbard - how is Tom? Well done Freya on the teeth!

Hope tea time is going well. Expecting to catch up on the goss later Jane!

Bledkr · 09/10/2011 18:38

Thanks ponyo its awfull isnt it?Shes not eating too its doing my head in.Even getting on Ellas nerves too.Dh hasnt been here the last 3 nights and tonight so im cooking and getting her to bed and seeing to Ellas homework and packed lunch.Hes off Tuesday,im going to think of something i can do for the day and may go and visit my friend in Frankly for the night,he needs to remember what its like i think.

tad I had a severe headache last week,i think it wasstress cos it was the day after dilly had a bad day. I hope it goes off.I love roller skating, used to take Ella to it at the leisure centre,i am quite good (if i do say so) and so used to get carried away and Ella was like Mum help me etc etc and i just whizzed past her Blush

byronicheroine · 09/10/2011 19:01

Hi deb !
having a rubbish week here, we're all ill- just colds etc. but it sucks- and 'D'P and I aren't speaking! All because I had a go at him about a million petty things mixing up the floor cloths and cloths for tables and sides........

Anyway, led and ponyo yup we have the same whinging going on. Boring, isn't it?! K is off his food as well, I've been saying it must be teeth it must be teeth for months but still nothing.
Maybe I'll do a la borg and go back to the puréeing. Shame as he was really getting in to the whole BLW thing (plonk in front of him, sit back and observe while scoffing own- what's not to like?)

come on then, jane you big tease. Neurofen, flat coke, bacon sarnie and SPILL! Glad you had fun :)

tad love your baby giraffe at the roller disco. Once, a long time ago when I actually had a life, I was dancing on a bar and fell off breaking all the beer taps and everything. Months later the doorman remembered me and told everyone it was "like bambi on ice" Blush Grin

Everyone else- whenever I look at active convos, there you lot are, chatting away 19 to the dozen! And I think to myself, that's MY lot, that is

wigglesmonsterock · 09/10/2011 19:29

Evening,

bledkr Anna was fussy with food all last week, wouldn't touch anything I made for her (no jokes please), she is mainly spoonfed with bits and pieces she can do herself. In the end I cracked open a cheapo tin of Heinz baby food and she wolfed it down Shock, she ate really well today, had a mini roast dinner.

ponyo the girls have always been on top form at my mums, its just me she sucks the life out of Grin

WeAreBorg · 09/10/2011 19:41

Evening all,

jane can't wait to hear the gossip. Any lurid and embarrassing photos? Yes?

byron hellooo. Me and DH sometimes go for a while without speaking then forget why it was that we weren't speaking in the first place

ledkr i am Grin at you speeding past your poor daughter, that's hilarious. Nate is not a cuddly baby at all actually, I kept trying co-sleeping in the desperate hope that it would make him sleep but it never did. He seems to have become quite clingy recently though.

tad you and all your fancy parties, pumpkins, roller discos, what next?!!!

deadka thanks for hydrocortisone tip, my hands are itchy and horrible, hope it works quickly.

Another whiney whingey mcwhingeypants here. Took N to church, howled in the creche so I came out to settle him. Made for the door, howled again so I stayed. Had photographer round this afternoon, howled pretty much the whole time so our pictures will be shite. I was a bit put out as I had put him in what I thought was a nice outfit, and she turned up and asked me what he would be wearing then. I had to change his clothes which made him scream even more, and ended up fishing some dungarees out of the laundry which she approved of Hmm. Oh my dreams of entering him in those dodgy child beauty pageants are shattered now Smile

wigglesmonsterock · 09/10/2011 19:49

Borg forgot about the photoshoot Grin, she will be able to get some non crying photos out of it, never worry. Dungarees seem to be a staple of photoshoots. Did you and dh get some photos done as well or was it just N?

Emski76 · 09/10/2011 19:57

Sounds like we've all had busy days. I've basically bummed around, watched tv, put some things on eBay and made Noah the AK salmon and carrot recipe. Friend here now to watch x factor, just ate our pizza and garlic bread then having ice-cream and cake for after, yum, and sorry to all those dieting!

Noah is becoming quite whingy, he'll be ok with a toy playing on his own for five minutes then whinges! Does me head in!

Borg and Byron, I quite often get mad with dh then half hour later forget why I'm mad then feel rather sheepish.

janedoe25 · 09/10/2011 20:28

Well here goes, The "bonkers bus" picked us up at 1pm it was fab, had a jukebox, dancefloor, poles and dancing cages. We were all having a laugh and a drink on the bus (some more than others). We checked into the hotel had a few drinks in the bar then headed out to a pub. Sil was very drunk at this point ripped tights and pee'd her pants.Hmm I had the cocktail class at hardrock booked for 5pm so we left all bar 1, sil fell down the stairs cracked her head, back and elbow. It was a sore one.
During the cocktail class she decided to disappear, my mum and sis went looking for her as we were all worried espesh with the bump to the head she had! They found her and she ran away, wouldn't answer her phone to anyone. Naturally I spent the rest of the night worried shitless about her.
It turned out she went back to hotel and was chatting up any breathing male whilst handing her room number out to them all, bear in mind this was only 6pm!Shock
She hasn't apologised to me or my mum and sis who missed most of the cocktail class because of her antics. She came down to breakfast and revelled in the attention she got. I am so bloody ashamed to call her family she was a disgrace! I know I like to go out and drunk and have a good time but she really took the piss and ruined my hen night Angry.

Sorry for the epic post but you did ask!

wigglesmonsterock · 09/10/2011 20:32

jane Angry stupid cat, your sil. I mean everyones got pissed and made a dick out of themselves but ruining your night - what a tool!

ILovePonyo · 09/10/2011 20:34

Well at least I'm not alone with whingy baby, she has also been fussy with her food but thats nothing new Grin

byronic nice to see you! Oh dear to you and dp, earlier I nearly fell out with dp because he was home late, then decided that would be stupid Blush Yes to whinging being boooring - tooth count here is still a big fat 0 btw.

Borg hope your hands feel better soon. Hope you get some nice photos, oh god what to dress dd in if we have a photo shoot?! Bet I'd get a disapproving look too whatever I pick.

emski sounds like you've had a nice day! I need to make that AK salmon thingy soon. Just find it a bit of a faff and lots of washing up what with the ice cube trays.

Where is jane??!!

Early night for me, had something else to say but forgotten, I'm sooo tiiiired

janedoe25 · 09/10/2011 20:36

Oh we went to a club called the jamhouse, it was the most surreal place I have ever been. It was a club with normal clubbing music and ther were couples ballroom and jive dancing, it was very strange Grin. You will be glad to hear I managed to behave myself! One of my friends was soooo funny, she hardly ever gets drunk and was steaming. She was flashing her boobs out of the bus windows. Ha wait until I remind of her of that! Grin
At dinner the girls all presented me a gorgeous pandora charm bracelet with an L and Z charm. Grin
Right enough about me.

40 how are you and M?

borg How is your sil? It must be so hard for being away from her baby boy.

Can't reply to everyone sorry.

janedoe25 · 09/10/2011 20:36

ponyo hellloo I'm here! Grin

ILovePonyo · 09/10/2011 20:37

Oh there you are jane, Hmm and Angry to your sister in law, what a saddo if you don't mind me saying. And selfish ruining your hen night, is she one of those types who don't like the attention to be on anyone else but themselves?

Hope you enjoyed your night regardless x

ILovePonyo · 09/10/2011 20:38

Grin to your friend flashing boobs and aww to the bracelet, what a lovely present :)

janedoe25 · 09/10/2011 20:42

ponyo nail on the head!

ILovePonyo · 09/10/2011 20:47

Hmm yes how did I guess Hmm Grin

Right bedtime!!

40Shrieks · 09/10/2011 20:57

Oh Jane what a nightmare for you, I had a friend like that. Just got steaming drunk and became a liability. I love the bonkers bus though, I hope you still managed to enjoy yourself. The bracelet was a lovely gift, what lovy friends you must have. M is fine thanks for asking, changed his dressing myself as one of them was falling off, hope the nurse can see him tomorrow.

Ems what a lovely day!

Borg I can't believe the photographer had the nerve! Cheeky, I hope there are some nice pics I am sure there were. S

ReastieHorrorShow · 09/10/2011 21:24

evening,

40 glad M seems to be OK. How are things with you and DH now?

jane the bus sounds great Grin but Shock to sil. Is she the type to have no idea she was inappropriate and riuined things?

ems nom nom

deb no ikea trip tomorrow, will let you know when we go

ledkr how do you do the blanket trick to get dilly into her cot? Do you and dh each take 2 corners and carry it taut? [c lueless]

Well, the snotty nose we thought was alice teething turns out we think to be a cold as dh and I both sore throaty and miserable. I feel so guilty now re: cc - alice must have been crying anfd crying whilst having a sore throat and we never realised Confused . SO her husky voice may well be cold related Hmm

borg Shock to the photographer

Prob completely xposted as taken me yonks to write this with a baby who will not sleep.

WeAreBorg · 09/10/2011 22:59

Jane Shock at your SIL, although there always seems to be one of those on each hen night. How selfish of her, I really hope you can filter out those bits and remember all the good fun you had. The others sound lovely though, what thoughtful friends to get you that bracelet. SIL is much better thanks, she is still in hospital but on a normal ward, not sure what's happening with the little one but she should be able to stay in a side room with her now.

ponyo no teeth here still, is it just us now? was it Mikey as well? My memory is rubbish. Impressively early bedtime there Pon, giving old deadka a run for her money

reastie poor you and alice, hope you all feel better with your colds. There was no way you could have known, you're not psychic.

wiggles unfortunately due to Nates histrionics I made a guest appearance in some photos, but hopefully don't have to use them. The photographer was quite nice other than the clothing thing, oh yes she didn't seem to think his toys were photogenic either - I gave him a squeaky egg to play with which calmed him down straightaway but it wasn't allowed in the photos Hmm. He's not fussed about his soft toys yet which were the ones she wanted. She also wanted him on all fours a lot, which reminded me of nude photos of people looking over their shoulders with roses between their teeth for some reason so I don't think I'll be picking those ones. Or the ones of him playing with his willy

Anyway, nighty night

deadka · 10/10/2011 07:02

borg I think that's a bit weird, I mean, YOU'RE the one PAYING for these photos of YOUR SON, shouldn't you make the decisions? Bloody arty types (DH also claims to be an arty type Grin)

ponyo no teeth here either, no rolling either, or crawling. Got a bit of hair though if that counts? Hmm

reastie don't go feeling guilty, there's nothing you can do now, you did what you thought was best for Alice. Just remind yourself today is a new day and she loves you :)

jane sorry you sil was such a drama queen, lets hope she got it out of her system so as she'll behave herself on the wedding day.

Hello byron :) Hope you all get well soon. How are the riots/protests etc?

ledkr I think I got really lucky with S because she very rarely whinges and eats absolutely everything I put in front of her. Last night was shepherds pie and spinach. Her sister on the other hand spent most of yesterday evening screaming, threw her noodles around for 15 minutes then had a full blown tantrum when I told her no pudding. She ended up eating a butter sandwich Hmm and a slice of ham!

OP posts:
Emski76 · 10/10/2011 11:15

Been meaning to join the wobbly belly group, mine is ridiculous! Don't think it'll ever go!

Reastie, please don't feel bad about cc and Alice being poorly, you couldn't have known.

Borg, hope you get some good photos from your shoot.

Jane, your sil was a bit daft wasn't she?

Ponyo, the salmon thing I made wad quite easy. I dont tend to go for the complicated recipes in case Noah refuses to eat it! Dont fancy wasting my time!

Noah had THE biggest poo at breakfast time. I brought him up to the living room and put him on his changing mat to find I had a streak of poo up my arm. I took of his pj top to find poo all up his back, all the way to his neck and shoulders! He must have been wriggling in his highchair so much that he spread it all up his back. Dirty boy!
We've finally put a gate on the living room door and Noah now spends most his time at the gate. He looks like a little prisoner trying to escape!

What is everyone up to today? Noah and I have already walked to Sainsburys to buy a new cheapy kettle after the other died yesterday. Going to chill at home for the rest of the day. Ben is due home from in laws at 3ish.

deadka · 10/10/2011 13:13

Yuk ems Grin

OP posts:
40Shrieks · 10/10/2011 13:15

Another quiet day? Am taking M to get his dressings changed at 3, the docs surgery said they wouldn't do it as didn't have any appointments all week... Said I had to go back to hospital. Rang hospital, they such poppycock and that the surgery have the responsibility not a&e - rang the surgery AGAIN (after being engaged for nearly 2 hours!) and they said no no no and then I told themthe details and the receptionist decidedthey could see him after all...ggrrrrr. So now have to hope they do it quick so I can get up to school in time.

Hope you are all having a better day than me!!!

ReastieHorrorShow · 10/10/2011 13:19

Gosh it's quiet here today Hmm

ems thanks for the poo info while I'm having my lunch Wink

Well we always feed alice her food except a few bits of finger food so no regression to needing fed problems. She still refuses pretty much every AK recipe I make though, so I end out just doing stuff I make up or bits of what we have mashed up which she likes much more odd baby

No teeth here too

Think AF has FINALLY come after a week and a half late wait (was getting a bit worried Confused ). Hope it's not a bad one coil style. I have towels all ready to line my bed with after last times leakage Blush [tmi]

Off to tescos in a min. ALice sleeping in her cot Grin horrah. I heard something on the tv about it getting really cold next week and since we still have no heating on I'm going to panic buy some coal for the fire Grin . Gosh imagine if it snows for weeks like last year - being stuck in with no where to go with a baby Confused . Personally, I'm hoping we get snowed in just as I'm returning to work so I get some extra cuddles Grin

borg you always make me Grin with your posts. A squeaky egg isn't photogenic hey?!

Just bought loads of happyland crap toys online for alices christmas/birthday pressies while they are 20% off. Really wanted the royal wedding set but overspent on the useful mat/box holder wiggles recommended. wigs I got the village set, mat/box and London bus Grin

ReastieHorrorShow · 10/10/2011 13:20

x posted 40 hope they're not running late. How often do they need changing?
