Think I might just go to bed... Have to shut the dog in the kitchen so I'll not be able to get in then!

Thanks wigs, I want to be slim more than I want the buttons

Ah blekdr thats so sweet of ella, I will deffo cuddle Mikey for her. He just woke up and we gave him some more calpol and a little snuggle of course.

Seriously girls I was so stressed and upset today and really felt like I 'needed' you all - sounds so silly, but you all stepped up to the mark and made me feel heaps better, thank you so much, I really do appreciate it. So does Mikey, but he just doesn't know it yet! I just couldn't bring myself to tell anyone in real life (apart from my sisters) as I couldn't admit what I'd done. Hopefully a good nights sleep will give me a bit of perspective.

I hope the bubbas sleep ok and dont worry reastie your hard work won't go wasted, agree with deadka on that one

44me bandages are due for a change on Monday, have to ring my surgery to do it (gulp) - my Thomas also hurt himself with his nanny, my mil - who is SO careful and precious with the boys. He ended up in hospital & lost his tooth as a result under GA just before he was 2. The only consolation is that she can't make me feel bad about this, as I never said a word about the accident with T, as I knew it was just that, an accident.

chocoBOO · 08/10/2011 22:18

Goodness me...I thought I'd taught you lot by now?!

deadka Put the Galaxy in the bin and scoff the buttons! Where do you think my bonus is going to come from if you don't all eat Buttons and Dairylea triangles.

Bledkr · 08/10/2011 22:20

Ah if i lived nearer i could do his dressings.Ds3 had a hairline fracture on his femur when he was about 14months,we didnt know how he did it either,he had plaster from foot to groin and it got pooh on it in the first hour of wear Grin
Reastie she just wants to be with you,its prime age for separation anxiety too.I never feel safe doing co sleeping either.Have you tried laying her in your bed on a blanket which you then move to the cot with her, hence no change of temperature or smell when you move her,it works for D.
deb mmm buttons,i love the giant ones.
Just imagine how foolish you will feel when you get on the scales and you havent lost weight.
All the fat ladies will point and stare and even laugh at your lack of control and your obvious eating disorder.
The slimming world lady will be sacked for lack of good results and lose her home and she and her kids will be sleeping on the streets.
You will feel guilty and pathetic and end up having a chocolate binge and the whole sorry affair will start again.Dont have the buttons.Grin

40Shrieks · 08/10/2011 22:26

Yup it's a slippery slope deadka it may start with buttons, but where will it end!? WHERE???

Bledkr · 08/10/2011 22:32

Anyway Deb,why are you up so late?Arent you normally in bed at about 7.30? Grin

WeAreBorg · 08/10/2011 22:47

Shock at deadka still being awake.

Grin at no holiday for Romilly, I am obsessed with giant cookies at the moment, sorry.

reastie It may come as no surprise that Nate has wheedled his way into our bed, I have my arm in a c-shape round him, but TBH he's is not a great mover in the night-time. His sleep was getting so bad it was inevitable I think but he seems to settle much better now. He still spends the evening in the cot though which is a saving grace, so I do think you have it much harder with her not settling in the evening either

Night night all

Bledkr · 08/10/2011 22:56

borg i have to say after 4 other dc's who i wouldnt have dreamt of allowing in my bed,the way Dilly slept id have had her in my bed just for some sleepDilly however has other ideas and positively growls if i try and snuggle her in with me.

40Shrieks · 09/10/2011 09:32

Morning all, I really wouldn't worry about them sleeping in your bed, they won't donor forever and it's perfectly natural for them to want to. As long as it suits you - our boys always climb in first thing and I am sure I will miss it when they don't want to. They would dearly love to sleep in our beds but there isn't enough room for 5!

Mikey has been a star, slept through apart from once and needed his dummy and has been on great form today, eating as normal so very pleased that he isn't too distressed. His mission to crawl hasn't been put on hold either, he is so nearly there and gets mad when it doesnt work. Bless him, can't stop cuddling him.

Hope you all had a good night and are having fun - must be as you aren't on here!!

deadka · 09/10/2011 10:07

40shrieks (love it)- glad to hear M is doing better. They move on so quickly at this age.

Well you'll be pleased to hear I stayed clear of the chocolate buttons last night, but I WAS in bed when you all replied Grin, I need my sleep! ledkr you made me laff you really did this morning. Grin

choc sorry sorry sorry just that the G-bar (we shall not mention its name) was half price in Tesco. Dairylea Triangles??? Is there a chocolate flavour one Hmm [boak]

I slept this morning until 7.45. (although S chatted away in her cot and I ignored her from 5.15 to 6am). It is so PEACEFUL with only the baby! (Imy is at Granny's.)

Emski76 · 09/10/2011 10:42

Morning all.
Boys have gone to in laws today so I'm sat watching x factor and munching leftover apple, pear and pecan tart!

40, so pleased Mikey is ok, he's a very brave baby by the sounds of it. Hope your feeling a bit better now too.

Borg, I love sleeping with Noah, I had a nap with him yesterday afternoon and another early this morning, bliss. He was very unsettled last night, not sure why, he kept moaning and crying, we didn't need to go into him, but he was so tired this morning that we went back to bed together at 8!

Ledkr, I did giggle at your tactics of trying to convince Deb not to eat the chocolate! Brilliant!

We had friends over last night and I cooked a three course meal. It was delicious, I was so surprised and pleased with myself!

Hope you all had good nights.

Bledkr · 09/10/2011 10:54

ems especially as my tactics were written after a large curry and 3 popadoms-about one million sw syns.
Dilly woke at 11 for a huge bottle then went till 7am.She isnt eating much food in the day so i think she is hungry.Am cooking her fav roast chicken today so hopefully she will be tempted.
Am having a boring day today,dh working,Ella to knobheads and me and moany arse on our own,i may go and see my Nan and then buy some galaxy to see mw thru the day.

wigglesmonsterock · 09/10/2011 11:41

40shrieks glad M is on fighting form, please take it easy on yourself re the guilt xx

Borg Anna sleeps with us all the time [shrugs], any sleep is good sleep Grin

chocoroo sending my Dad to do a chocolate run, all Cadburys of course, maybe a touch of Nestle, [ducks for cover]
Although I fully expect you to take Romilly to Disneyland on your share of the profits Grin

Bledkr · 09/10/2011 12:39

wiggs is A still being food fussy?D seems to be refusing almost anything apart from yogurts and some finger foods-organix watsits, bananna and carrot. Its tres frustrating. She is very moany but wont sleep or takes ages to go off and then has 2 minutes Hmm Feeling very frustrated today.May do a choc run soon.

hubbard86 · 09/10/2011 13:09

hi ladies, feels like i've been away for ages. Can someone please give me a recap of everything thats happened.
Freya has 2 teeth, still no sign of moving, not a roll in sight other than around my tummy no real news as i'm pretty boring and too busy to have anything exciting happen

janedoe25 · 09/10/2011 15:13

Just popped on for a wee catch up.

40 so sorry to hear of Mickey's accident, and it was just that an accident! I hope you are both ok. how is things with dh today?

Hen night was fab although sil did put u dampner on things, i shall fill you all in when my head stops hurting! Grin

40Shrieks · 09/10/2011 16:37

Hi Hubbard good to hear from you

Glad you had a good night Jane cone one spill!?

deadka I went out this afternoon for a friends birthday and resisted the roast dinner with giant Yorkshires - you would have been proud. Instead I had a small roll with some chicken. How depressing

Bledkr · 09/10/2011 16:40

Hi hubbard hows little Tom? I am not the person for a summary i have an old womans memory Grin
jane Take some bloody pills then and get spilling,i need the sil story i am having a very boring, lonely day.I went out to drive Dilly around to get her to sleep i was that desperate. She went to sleep so i stopped at the garage for a paper-and a crunchie-and some maltesers-and some randomns-and some fruit pastilles Shock Ive only eaten the chocolate tho i wonder how many sw syns are in that lot deb haha.
Glad you had agood night tho.
Where is everyone today? With their dh's i expect
Its my birthday next weekend,dh has something planned,i hope its something to do with fast cars Grin

Bledkr · 09/10/2011 16:44

40 you can have a lush roast on sw.I have lean meat, lots of veg and roasties made with spray light-i add lots of garlic and rosemary-syn some gravy or yorkies-yum yum.

Bledkr · 09/10/2011 16:45

Has anyone else sill got lots of belly fat?I have loads,i can kind of grab it its horrible,i didnt have it before.

ILovePonyo · 09/10/2011 16:57

Hi all - had a nice weekend with my mums, A was a delight most of the time - her toys are much more fun at Grandmas house Confused and she was crawling loads as there are carpets there not cold hard floors Grin

40 that sounds so horrible, I was reading it and felt awful for you, glad he's on the mend today. What a nightmare though, poor you :(

jane wheres this goss then?! Hope you're head stops hurting soon :)

ledkr I have belly fat but then I did before as well, its depressing I remember when I used to have a nice toned stomach :( All the walking I've done seems to have toned up my legs but its my fat belly I want to lose weight from!!

I'm another one with a non-cuddly baby here, she only hugs me when she is very sleepy, no chance of her sharing our bed she'd be crawling all over it and off the side Grin
She's still crawling on her belly but getting up on her knees and doing cute bouncing a lot more.

Right btter go as she s being whingy, back later.

40Shrieks · 09/10/2011 16:58

Ooh yes I do have a roast on SW but this was at a carvery so not in the least bit SW. Sob, the Yorkshires were huge!

I of course meant come on spill, Jane, not cone one!

And yes bledkr the belly fat gives Santa a run for his money. That's why I am on SW, although need to do some sit ups too. Muffin top city

Deliaskis · 09/10/2011 17:15

Hi ladies,

40 Shock and so sorry to hear about your coffee disaster but also so glad that M seems to be OK. There's no end to the guilt is there? Even when things are fine I find something to feel guilty about so when things are not fine I really go to town. It's not your fault tho, you know that don't you!

jane glad you had a good hen night but intrigued by SIL...spill.

Ledkr sorry you've had a bleh day. I hate weekend days without DH as it really should be our time together. He's been working Saturdays a lot lately, and altho I try not to sulk about it, I do feel a bit sorry for myself.

Also yy to belly fat, takes considerable time in the morning finding an outfit I can stuff it in to. I lost all my actual baby weight really quickly, so the scales say I'm the same as pre-baby (I was always a larger lady tho), but it's all in different places. Not nice Sad.

We've had a nice weekend, lunch out yesterday with my friend and her baby who is a week younger than C. Nice dinner with Dh last night (in not out) and lazy day today, which I didn't think was possible with a baby, but it has been. Yay!

Have a nice evening all.

Dx

Bledkr · 09/10/2011 18:05

40 you are very good tho,i would have just had a carvery telling myself "its just like sw,ill have lots of veg" prob why the old tummy is hanging on.Still pleased with how its going tho.
I guess spanx are to remain part of my wrdrobe.
ponyo Dilly had a sleep in her car seat then woke and i cuddles her up and she slept forages on me,thats the closest ill get to a cuddle for a while. My god what is this whinging? She seems only happy for a short whilke after a sleep or bottle then the whinging resumes, its soul destroying,i so wish i could go back to work now i find being aft mum very unfulfilling at this age. Quite like it when you can have little trips out and watch them learn new things but god this whinging is the pits,im beginging to wonder if ive just ot a whinger Sad

ILovePonyo · 09/10/2011 18:12

Ha ledkr I only get sleepy cuddles too! I wonder if I have a whingy baby sometimes all the time, funny thing is at my mums she actually spent ages crawling round, playing and chatting to herself, I was amazed, maybe its be'cos my mums is very baby friendly so we can just leave her to it, but here you have to watch her all the time because there's hazards everywhere Grin

We're trying to keep her going til bedtime so shes very grumpy at the moment Hmm
