Bloody hell, been busy in here since monday :)
Ssmile, reading your post about hits made me remember I've not taken any, and I really ought to as in case I'm not getting enough for LO. Glad you got your coil, I've had one in the past, pre baby and it was a bit uncomfy. Glad you got some decent sleep last night :)
Jojo, sorry you sound like it's tough with you and your OH being in different places.
Love, I'm trying to bring a bedtime routine in for our LO now also, she is 8 weeks tomorrow, so far it's involved me going to bed earlier with her, although only one night she has gone down earlier! I'm also opening the curtains early in the morning so as day and night are separate. Keeping the bedroom really dimly lit at night when doing the 'last feed' or what I always hope will be the last feed. She did go down at 11pm last night :) So I was asleep way before midnight!
Jimmi, I know someone who had an implant and bled continuously after it and ended up having it taken out. DTD does feel a little different at first, it's still slightly uncomfy for me, but I had an episiotomy.
OK ladies, maybe TMI here. Have been blood free for a couple of weeks now, and I've this morning had some spotting like the start of a period.
Am EBF. Not sure if I'm getting my periods again, having lochia again, or something else(I want to mention some other cause of bleeding but I shan't just at the moment). Got post natal check this afternoon so will mention it to the doc, not that I'm worried, just I don't want my periods again ever yet.
Jabs in the morning tomorrow. I'm fine about it, not worried, will watch the jabs being done on me, watch blood being taken so I have no worries about her's. I possibly won't watch the needle going in though with her.
LO has found her thumb, and hand, sometimes she just doesn't get what to do with it, sucks the bottom bit of her palm and then wipes her hand over her face a bit like a cat preening itself! It's really cute.
She's in her moses basket at the moment, napping off and on, I went over to her while she was awake smiled at her and she properly grinned back, 2 mins later she's asleep again!
Have had 2 nights where she has slept for 4 hours after the 'last feed' which is great :) So much nicer than waking after only 2 hours. Hopefully she will start and do it a bit more. She is so tired in the evening, but won't go down early, she'll drop off to sleep on us while we are watching TV or after a feed and as soon as we move she wakes again and then it's hard to get her off again. I reckon if we managed to get her down when she first drops off she would sleep from 8 or 9 ish, as it is it's way later than that.
