Hello Ladies! I've come to show off my new NN Do you like it?

Officially at 6.23pm tomorrow I turn 30, so I've got a wee bit longer!

We went to Loch Lomond today, had lunch and a wander round the shops there. Glorious sunshine and beautiful scenery. I love we live so close to the "great outdoors"! Weather doesn't look too good for tomorrow, so will probably mooch around the house, maybe pop out for something to eat. Then we are going to friends in the evening I think.

I plan to have alcohol at some point too! maybe for breakfast, who knows!

I loved it there. We had afternoon tea at Cameron house and were greeted by the bagpipes. [curtseys] (sp) I too will have alcohol tomorrow. C'mon explain the name while I cheat on google for clues.

Cheated. But will keep quiet for everyone else.

It's only an hour away from us! I really love my country. If we could only guarantee the weather I would never leave. But as Billy Connelly said " there is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes!"

There was a reason. What was the occasion? I went with dh who was then db and his parents, his bro and his bro's wife who is my best mate! I think we went to Scotland for grannies birthday and Cameron house was a treat. Beautiful round there.

We've had another crappy night, 9-1 2-3 3-5.30 and two huge gooey poo nappies already this morning. H was whimpering a bit in his sleep, had tummy gurgling all night and the poo smelt funny so I'm wondering if a slight tummy bug is to blame.

Not at all surprised to see the organised defence of temples in Southall last night, we used to live there and it's not far from our current home. The local elders are highly respected and there's a huge sense of community there.

Best night we've had in ages here. P did 7pm - 6:45am, with just two feeds in between. I'm still feeling super tired but hopeful that she hasn't forgotten how to have a decent night.

J had a good night too - makes up for the lack of daytime naps and bad few nights earlier. Feel semi human today though think I'd feel an awful lot better if I hadn't had that half bottle of wine...

All this news makes me incredibly thankful for what we have in the UK and personally thankful to have my own little family. I'm doing my level best to bring my two little ones up to be inspiring people who help to foster good in the hearts of the folk they meet. I think it's mind-blowing to think that how we raise our little ones with kindness and morals will influence and change the future.

Is it just my mad mummy brain which is considering getting chickens and increasing the veg and fruit garden output in order to avoid high food prices?

Well feeding woes continued yesterday and contacted HV re: same, she didn't have much to offer except maybe it was teething, which I was poo-poo-ing but then last night the teat chewing started again so I guess it is that after all!! On closer inspection it would appear that the bottom left front tooth is just below the surface woops!! So bonjela and calpol are go! Also gonna see if I can get some of that powder stuff I've heard about. Has anyone got or tried these
HV has said I can go and have R weighed again next wednesday if I'm worried about weight gain rather than waiting until the end of the month. I asked about early weaning, hoping for her to say "no, no, wait until 6 months" but she never, she just said that I could start at the end of the month if the feeding situation wasn't improved. Not sure whether I should let dp in on that little bit of info since he's keen to get started!!

Cards and pressies opened, DH is whipping up a storm in the kitchen for breakfast and B is wondering what the hell in going on!!

Just quickly checking in, I'll probably have to give MN a miss today and do "family" things :o!!
