Hi all, first of all, welcome back kf, glad you've settled in now
I'm trying to get my head around why people have babies to try and fix their relationships??? anyone got any idea??? Mia is 17 weeks and i can't remember the last time dp and i got to spend just 5 minutes together without her screaming from jealousy. i've forgotten how to kiss him it's been that long. (sorry if tmi)!
Mia has also started waking every night around 3 times. i thought she was getting hungrier and her teeth hurting her but last night i placed her next to me and put the duvet over her and she slept for another 6 hours. poor little mite must've been cold as she kicks all her blankets off. i've bought her a gro-bag today so fingers crossed that it will work. Everyone's congratulating me on my diet but if you could see me now, you'd be disgusted. i've just ate 2 bars of chocolate.
LADYL, sounds like elise is very hungry, don't worry what people think about you weaning her now, she's your baby and you know what she needs It's amazing how we all try to defend our actions, i'm trying not to care what people think about me anymore
MUMMYHILL, hope you feel better soon, huge HUGS from me.
SIMPLYRED, We all have our anti-men times LOL
So has everyone made any interesting resolutions? i've made quite a few this year LOL

mummyhill & redhelen - lol at doctors advice sometimes. Almost laughed at once being told to sleep when my baby sleeps - great idea but who'd be keeping an eye on the other kids!! - or pick them up from school!!
hello Kiwifruit

On the sleeping front ds is sleeping next to me & wakes to bf 2/3 times per night. He will wakeup if I get up. I carry him around with me in my arms at home or babysling when we're out & he's happy with this. Must have strong arms now!

I'm still heavier than before. My scale is in kilos (happy not to know the stones!) & I'm 67.2kgs was 58 before preg. At my first preg checkup was 63kgs. I just gain loads of weight whilst preg. Was just under 90 kgs when gave birth. Hope the rest will come off by bf. Love choc as well bubbles

Hello Kiwifruit! lovely to have you back

Bubbles - one of my resolutions was to get to bed for 12... and look at me!

Mummyhill - hope you're feeling much better tomorrow {{{Hugs}}} as it must be miserable - I always find diarrhoea so painful with the cramps

I've just taken my decorations down, the room looks dowdy without the pretty tree and kitsch(sp) tinsel and lights round my fireplace - you'll laugh at how I've left the tree... just squidged into my green wheelie for recycling, they'll bless me when they try to empty it

Back to Uni tomorrow which is why I'm getting all vestages of Christmas out of the way now - most of my resolutions are to do with Uni the only other thing is that I'd like to lose the jiggley bits on my hips and round my middle!

Conrad's still poorly with this cold virus, the doctor rather thinks the virus has spread to his intestines and that's why he's suffering diarrhoea poor mite - he was smiling away at the doctor and the med student though.

Best wishes to everyone - especially as you all seem to be having to get up at least once a night
Sleeeeeepy Vibes to you and your babies
Nighty Night All xxx

hi everyone, my new year things are to lose weight and stop biting my nails - i had achieved this one last year but for some reason ive started again and its disgusting, a habit i picked up off my dad probably before i could walk! and finally to get my childminding business up and running i have OFSTED coming to see me next wednesday (panic) i've got so much to do i should not be sat on here but my excuse is that my brain wont work this early in the morning

jess is cutting her first tooth took me ages to settle her last night in the end i gave her bongella and calpol then for the 2nd night in a row she didnt wake before 5am and she didnt feed!! please god let thjis be the start of her sleeping through - if she's not bothered about being fed then surely she has no reason to wake up, ill keep you posted on that i darent let myself believe it yet!

Hope you're all doing ok x

Welcome back teenmum glad you are ok can't wait to catch up on all your news.

David slept through last night yipee.

Got a bit of a problem today though. DD has to be at nursery at 12.45. Last week davids imms were cancelled due to the lack of a gp at the surgery so they re booked me for today and guess what time he has to be there???? Yup youv'e got it 12.45. Desperatly trying to find a friend who would be willing to take dd in to nursery but feel bad about it cause it is the first day back and I really feel I should be taking her. Any suggestions?

Off to psychiatrist to discuss my depression. Hope she is more useful than when I last saw her. Would like not to be taking ADs any more (have been on them nearly 10 months), but not sure it would be best.

Oh welll, off we go

Morning all, mummyhill, i wouldn't feel guilty about not taking dd to nursery, david needs his imms, and unfortunaetly, this kind of things happen alot. you need to prioritise although i'm not saying for 1 moment that nat doesn't matter it's called sods law where i live well mia DID NOT sleep well in her gro-bag , i'm soooooo tired. she's officially 4 months old today so i no longer need to feel guilty about giving her a little rusk
CABE, i guess you broke your resolution already one of mine is, when dd1 throws a tantrum until she gets her own way, to not give in or let anyone else give in to her. she was sent to bed at 6 on monday night for kicking off in our local wacky warehouse. BLOODY KIDS EH???
Mia's got 2 teeth coming and 1 of hers is also around the side not the front. don't know why i thought the front ones always came 1st. she also rolled over for the 1st time on new years day, i was so excited as she's been trying for weeks.
Welcome back stm or should i say nlstm???

Tried to do the link. Doesn't work out (thick emoticon)!!

The thread is called September 05 - lots of smiles.

Perhaps someone smarter can work out how to do the clickable link (thick emoticon)
