rollerbaby · 24/06/2011 22:16

why am I the only person who seems to not get the facebook group pages???????????????????? I never see it until too late. anyways you all look very nice. as you were.

CluckyKate · 24/06/2011 22:16

Quelle horreur FP - mine are all Joules which apparently makes me a sloane Hmm

Today I have been ticking off things from the bottom of my to-do list - am now working my way up the list instead of down. So, have finally got in touch with the church to get LC baptised. She'll be 3 in October. I'm not too late am I??? Will be getting BC done at the same time too

Got the saddler coming tomorrow so tack is now clean. Kids are asleep. Wine is drunk.

CluckyKate · 24/06/2011 22:22

Don't worry Moo - I can't locate it either Sad

MadameBoo · 24/06/2011 22:34

Just put ESHmeet in the search bar and it will take you back to it (don't worry, it's a secret group so me posting this makes no difference).

CluckyKate · 24/06/2011 22:57

Nope - doesn't work. Lots of Eshmeet Singhs out there though Grin

MadameBoo · 24/06/2011 23:00

So there is - how odd!

MadameBoo · 24/06/2011 23:01

I meant I didn't know it was a name. That was a bit of a twatty post Blush

FannyPriceless · 25/06/2011 08:52

clucks Yes, I know it's terrible! But if we can't admit our fashion crimes here, then where? And when I say it's useful, I mean in a mucking out / gardening / wearing in the morning for the two hours before you leave the house when you know that if you wore the top you're actually intending to wear it would end up splattered with vomit/poo/porridge way.

I found it - it's in events. Took me a while to find it though.

I just have to mention the lovely baby kisses I get atm. I give LG kisses on his cheek, and he then grabs my face with both hands and proceeds to lick, snot on, chew and eventually bite my face, all the while giggling like mad. Very cute, right till the moment the teeth make contact!

Cluck noone has answered your tender question, so I will. I haven't experienced your particular problem myself, but you might remember what I used to sell in a former life Grin. I'm afraid you need to drink gallons of water, stock up on some kind of high fibre laxative (eg Fybogel, but anything with lots of fibre in do. I have a lot of Fybogel in, BTW, if you want it,) and, ahem, try not to strain. Once you have achieved a decent level of pooey softness, it should heal by itself in about 2 weeks. If it doesn't, you need to go to the doctor and the next thing to try is a steroid cream and/or a muscle relaxant to stop you clenching your bum to hard. Although that's kind of what the Pilates is trying to get though? Anyway, you can ask more tonight when the boys are out, if you want. I'm not starting that conversation though!

okiecokie · 25/06/2011 09:51

Scorps you sound like you are having a rough time. I think what everyone else has said makes a lot of sense especailly with the BF suport and I don't have much to add but if you ever want to chat about intolerances and allergies in babies then head this way.

Mini Oke's behaviour has just gone to another level. He is a little sod to say the least. Peppa is going to grow up a right hard nut and will one day get her own back. I keep telling him she won't bring her mates round when she is 15 but it seems lost on him.

SilverSky · 25/06/2011 09:55

Quick boob question plz! Since Thurs eve I've been getting tingling and aching. First in right then in left. But mainly in right. Thought was due to dropping a feed but now not so sure. Still getting the sensation and it's a bit like "feed due" but not in that urgent way. Whilst MB is feeding there isn't any pain or discomfort. Quite frankly it's getting on my nerves as it's annoying like toothache! Hot water / massaging does not relieve it. Any ideas?

Course if I google it I will be self diagnosing a double masectomy by lunchtime and setting up my parents dining room table in prep for a DIY op.

Cosmosis · 25/06/2011 12:05

off the top of my head, not sure. Is it all the time? when did you drop a feed? Is it painful or more just like you're getting a letdown?

Boy just woken, will come back later.

SilverSky · 25/06/2011 12:27

Pretty much constant. Odd reprieve!

Inadvertently just Mid afternoon since Tues as out and about and MB not been bothered about that feed (taking v little and messing around during that feed) and it was Thurs early eve that the discomfort came on. Initially I thought I'd messed up and should have fed him with the other boob.

Then yday I gave a mid pm feed again as decided to stick to four feeds a day.

It feels tingly, then achy, with the odd random stab. Mainly the outer rhs of the right one. No redness. Nip normal. Can't tell about heat as I'm warm all over! MB has snuffles and so do I.

Not sure if thrush? Could this be from reducing feeds?

Typical when miles from home and it's the weekend. Prob miles from out of hrs quack.

Thanks for your help.

Cosmosis · 25/06/2011 12:39

don't think you can get thrush from reducing feeds, also I think thrush tends to mean pain while feeding.

Could be a bit of a blockage on the rhs? any lumpy bits?

SilverSky · 25/06/2011 12:40

Sadly no lumps! Also left handside is also giving me bit if grief.

Mastitis? Sad

Cosmosis · 25/06/2011 12:43

mastitis will mean fluey sypmtoms - got any of those? You say you've got snuffles but if MB has them as well then that's probably just snuffles.

It probalby is mostly likely due to missing some feeds tbh, it can make your boobs go a bit funny as they get a bit confused.

Try asking on bfing section?

SilverSky · 25/06/2011 12:48

Will do! Thank you! Appreciate it.

Plan of action in the meantime is ibruprofen, keep feeding.

I'm back home Tues so if things don't improve I'll get to the drs. Not that know sod all about bfing and buzwams.

starcuntmole · 25/06/2011 22:33

Hi. I am just posting on here on my quest to kill all three ESH threads.

And my work is done

starcuntmole · 25/06/2011 22:35
FannyPriceless · 25/06/2011 23:07

scm Failed. Ha!

P.S. I think the threads are dead because all ESHes have slipped into a coma watching Coldplay at Glasto.

OP posts:
CluckyKate · 25/06/2011 23:40

Oooh 10% off...tempting Wink

am quite enjoying Coldplay

Anyone else tempted to try Glasto avec kids??? Potential future ESHmeet venue don't you think....leave the youngsters with the Dads and head for the techno tent Grin

Scorpette · 25/06/2011 23:52

Yo, beyotches! Thanks for all the tips, advice and caring - am feeling a bit more on top of things now. Have contacted a lactation specialist who is coming on Tues. to hopefully sort me and Mr T out. I've been getting him to do a bit of a better latch on the right boob, which is helping and have expressed from the left, as it is the more painful one. Although I did have to feed him from it this morning, as hadn't time to express and right one was empty, and it was fucking agony. The dead bit of skin has fallen off (or been swallowed by Mr T, boak) my left nip, which makes me feel nauseous about but hey ho. Am keeping breasts warm constantly and using heat pads in my bras. It's lovely seeing TYF holding Mr T and feeding him with the bottle and then watching Mr T drop off to sleep over his shoulder after being winded. Let's just hope I can turn this BFing nightmare around this week Grin AND he's been sleeping for 3 hour stretches the last few days, which is good. Mr T, I mean, not TYF.

BTW, am expressing as I type!

PS I call my boobs Christopher and Peter, after the Hitchens brothers. One is a lefty, the other a righty...

MadameBoo · 26/06/2011 00:05

I am saving for Glastonbury in 2 years time - hopefully will fit a baby in in between. I am a selfish cow and would go sans kids. Happy to meet ESH and bop anyway. Did you see the Chemicals? Amaze.

rocketleaf · 26/06/2011 13:01

Not sure I could be arsed with Glastonbury these days even without the child factor. We are definitely doing one of the smaller ones next year tho (although ESHmeet in the dance tent is tempting). Big Chill, Bestival or Shambala maybe. Any other good ones we should consider?

Score, glad to hear things are looking up and you have got an LC coming. Just a word of warning about putting time scales on things improving. I did that when we had our LC come and do the snip and was very disappointed when things didn't make a huge leap forward straight away. Not saying things won't get better but sometimes it can feel like 2 steps forward and 1 back (if not 3 back!) Just don't want you to put yourself under that kind of pressure.
