nymph what a shame about the job, fingers crossed for the next interview, they shouldn't have messed him about like that.
Grin at your DD3 having names for you all, that's so sweet!

nohun, no teething here yet but thanks for the Amber teething necklace link, I'd not of them before.

elsa, how's DD's ear?

TysonNobdie86 · 21/02/2011 20:18

Bella, The Nobdie thread is bloody brilliant, it is a group of mumsnetters who thought they/we were nobodies as in not mn royalty. Everybody is welcome and they are very friendly, we mainly just chat alot but are currently arranging a Nobdie meet up which im very excited about :)

Elsa123 · 21/02/2011 21:26

I'm definitely a Nobdie then!

Bella It seems to be better thanks. She's still tugging at it, but she's comfortable enough.

TysonNobdie86 · 21/02/2011 21:30

Elsa come on over, Hermya is there Grin

SeaShellsDreamingOfSummer · 21/02/2011 21:34

Lol Tyson, I love the irony that you nobdies when from nobodies to recognizable group in 3 weeks!! You even had your name in a thread! Im now too much of a nobody even for the nobodies Grin

Nymph:( for dh, I hate when they say"over qualified". My bil has heard it far too much in his job hunt. I hope your luck changes soon:)

Yay for is, dd is taking a bottle again after 6 weeks lapse. Now all I need is for her to take formula once ina while and all will be good.

Nymph-I've been meaning to ask how you are re pnd? I understand if housing want to talkabout it but I hope things are better now
:)

Bella-like the name change :)

TysonNobdie86 · 21/02/2011 21:37

Grin @seashells, I loved how I had my name in the thread, it was my 5 mins of mn fame :)
And nobody is too much of a nobody for the nobdies :)

Grin
SeaShellsDreamingOfSummer · 21/02/2011 21:38

Ok, I really should have proof read that Blush sodding phone.

Nymph-I understand if you don't want to discuss it here etc

Tyson-that you nobdies went from nobodies to a recognisable...etc...you even had your name In a thread title...

Why did I bother?!! Off to bed for me I'm typing shite

Hermya321 · 21/02/2011 22:01

Nymph What did they expect, trackies and trainers? I am sorry about the peoples attitudes, it seems odd really you wouldn't expect it would you.

Nohun I think I'm going to be getting a teething necklace, a lot of people have said it's worked for them so I may as well give it a try. I have read the Calpol thing before, I'm still making my mind up on it. I try not to use Calpol (apart from jabs) and go for a wait and see method.

DS seems to be a bit of a poorly boy tonight, we've had no smiles at all today and he's been sleepy and off all day. DH reckons he has a baby version of freshers flu due to being amoung a lot of new people on holiday and the yoof weekend.

Elsa123 · 21/02/2011 22:03

LOL Seashells! Grin.

tiredfeet · 21/02/2011 22:07

Ahhh I wondered what the nobdie stuff was about!!

Nymph being overqualified is frustrating when you know you want do the jobs you are applying for. If dh is getting the interviews that's a good sign though.

shieldbug · 21/02/2011 22:40

Hello again lovely ladies!
tyson I think only posting about once a week definitely qualifies me for nobdie status!

bella lol at the "new me" post. At least you now have a replacement for the melted item. I managed to melt the plastic backs of some bibs in the washing machine, so you're not alone.

nymph good luck to your dh on the job front. I should have thought that in the current economic climate, there were lots of people going for jobs they were over-qualified for. Surely employers should have the sense to snap them up...obviously not. Hope it all works out soon.

hermya well done for surviving the yoof weekend. Dh and I have done similar things in the past, so I sympathise. It's worth it in the end, but it's hard work all right.

ilgh it must be so tough for you being apart from ds2 at the moment. Hope you can all be back together again soon. Take care.

You might remember that I mentioned about a lump I found in my breast. Well, I went to the breast clinic and thank goodness, it turned out to only be a cyst. Even better, it was accessible with a needle, so they syringed it out there and then. I could see it vanish before my eyes on the ultrasound. Phew!

All's well in bugland at the moment, with lots of random baby noises as baby bug tries desperately to join in with conversations. His smiles just melt me every time. No doubt when he's older, he'll realise that's how to twist mummy round his little finger!

SeaShellsDreamingOfSummer · 22/02/2011 06:37

Shield :) what a relief, so glad it was benign. Are they going to recheck you? Your little bug sounds v cute!

OP posts:
nymphadora · 22/02/2011 08:16

Shield- good news
Hermya- she was also convinced A/side was too far!
I saw you in the nobdies thread Tyson& thought ooh theres Tyson Grin
V bad nights sleep here at least 4 hours of feeding. We thought it was nearly am at 1:30
re PND think dh being off has helped hold it off but still have bad days. Am ion a bit of cycle & think it's PMT mixing up too. Having a few days on edge at the moment & dh took me to bed last night from scrubbing the bathroom floor

shieldbug · 22/02/2011 10:17

seashells no checks needed, so that's good.
nymphGlad to hear your dh is helping with the pnd and stopping you from doing housework at mad hours. hope you find some way to catch up on sleep today.

TysonNobdie86 · 22/02/2011 11:07

Shield- Thank goodness it ended up being a cyst. Must be an overwhelming relief :)

Nymph- Sorry to hear about your bad night :(

tiredfeet · 22/02/2011 11:15

sheild so pleased it was just a cyst, what a relief. It must have been such a worry.

nymph sorry about your bad night, hope you can get some rest today. Glad your dh is being supportive

Had bad night here too, ds awake for big chunks of it, but did at least let us lie in till half nine

BellaDesconocida · 22/02/2011 11:48

shield, that's great news, what a relief! ( re cyst not re melting things)

nymph and tired hope you're having a restful day, and have a better night tonight

nymph what can I say, I hope you feel better soon, tbh the thought of pnd terrifies me, and I am so sorry for what you're going through.

Hermya321 · 22/02/2011 12:50

shield Brilliant, fabby news!!!

Nymph Sorry about your bad night. I've met a few people whom I've been convinced from just a few minutes of conversation with them that the sky is purple in their world. How is A too far? I'd consider that down the road, bizare but what can you do.

DS seems to be a lot better this morning, I didn't take him for his jabs though. I figured with his baby freashers flu it would be a bit mean to then stick needles in him.

Weirdly though at the sight of his last injections he's got scabby scaily skin, has anyone else had this?

nymphadora · 22/02/2011 15:23

No idea on the scabby leg Hermya. Ask when he next goes for jabs.

Dh interview went ok but might not have funding so will hear next week. Been to friends house for lunch. Big ones ran riot with her dd1 & dd3 played with her dd2( well poked each other and shouted at each others toys!)

Elsa123 · 22/02/2011 15:33

Fingers crossed for your DH Nymph.

We too were up twice in the night, 0200 then 0530 with constant on and off feeding until 1030. I want my baby back who sleeps through!! She's dreaming at the moment, a few odd cries! Oh and she's just woken....here was me hoping she'd sleep til 1600!!

Great news Shield, I'm so pleased for you.

BellaDesconocida · 23/02/2011 08:05

I'm a nobdie!

Elsa123 · 23/02/2011 10:57

well done Bella!

I've just cut DD's finger with the nail clippers Sad....

nymphadora · 23/02/2011 11:13

Elsa :( that's why I bite I had traumatic incident with dd1 Blush

TysonNobdie86 · 23/02/2011 11:19

Im very pleased for you Bella, did you go on the thread last night? I was at the pub with my Mum :)

TysonNobdie86 · 23/02/2011 11:20
