Elsa123 · 27/03/2011 13:24

nappy rash still there but improving. DD currently in cot with bare bottom. About to dress her and head off. Can't find my oyster card...grrr.

Thanks for the thought re teething cheese good point.

tiredfeet · 27/03/2011 18:53

Hope trip to london went well and dd's rash improving elsa

I dropped ds on his face today Sad tried to move him in highchair [idiot] it caught on something and he tumbled out. He has been checked and is fine except a slightly bruised lip, but I feel awful about it, really annoyed with myself for being such an idiot. Plus I panicked and yelled for neighbour amd got all in a state and now feel embarrassed about it, but I'm just shattered at the minute and can't think straight (had a complex week!)

TysonNobdie86 · 27/03/2011 19:52

Oh sorry to hear you are having a bad week tf, sounds like an awful day aswell :(

ILoveGregoryHouse · 27/03/2011 21:49

Hi. Elsa egg white worked a treat on Genevieve's nappy rash.

Well, it's been stressful and DH still not back til 7th April but things are settling. All boys in school or nursery (2 days) now. Genni had a lot of feeding problems with reflux and still not sleeping through in fact was up all night in Friday. But I have a new milk and gaviscon combo i have high hopes for. Wish us luck.

Hope ds is okay tf.

NoHunIntended · 28/03/2011 20:09

Glad you are here safely, ILGH. Hope your DH is here before you know it.

Good luck re Genni's feeding.

tf. ouch, poor you! I am sure it's only a matter of time before we all have these little accidents with our little ones.

12 days to go til DS reaches six months and we can start with solids. He really is so keen to eat our food, so cute, and I feel so selfish eating and not sharing! But we want to wait!

He is crawling now, which is fabulous, though does mean I can't take my eyes off him for a moment. And the gurgling - I am in love! :)

TysonNobdie86 · 28/03/2011 22:46

Hmm Finally have my car back so went to Ikea and bought Sophie the red antilop highchair and tray, got 20 miles home, set it up and there is no bloody harness Hmm Im really annoyed, i was so ecited that id got her chair in time for the 6 month mark on friday and now got to get customer services to send one out, bet they say ill have to collect the strap Sad
I got her a very cute blankie though, tis a rabbit Grin

SeaShellsHasSandInHerShoes · 29/03/2011 09:05

Tyson-I'm a bad mummy and use it with out the strap-atthis age they are not clambering around. Ikea is infuriating like that. Dh and I need relationship counseling after our once a year trip!

CheeseEnforcementAgency · 29/03/2011 10:19

It's only a lap strap so the tray may contain enough for now? Or get a 5 point one from boots, we have one for going out.

Hun I was a bit Envy at the crawling then I remembered dd2..... Grin

TysonNobdie86 · 29/03/2011 10:43

Thanks sea and cheese, will still use it then, ill look at 5 point harness at boots too :)

CheeseEnforcementAgency · 29/03/2011 12:53

Think they are classed as reins!

NoHunIntended · 29/03/2011 13:51

Tyson, that IS annoying! Stupid Ikea.

I miss Hermya! Hope she is doing ok.

Yeah, keen little crawler here, and he clambers about over his toys and up my leg, over pillows. We co-sleep, and have a guard rail, and he lifts himself over that now - it is no longer safe! Need an alternative. Have put a pile of pillows on the floor for now, and actually, if he moves much in his sleep, I know it, so he is supervised, but he's a speedy little scamp now, so he could fly quickly and hurl himself over. Hasn't done it yet though - just perches his head over, and has a good look around, and sees what he can grab from the bedside table!
He is currently entertaining himself with all his toys this morning, so maybe I'll be getting back to more regular posts like in the olden pregnant days! :)

CheeseEnforcementAgency · 29/03/2011 14:53

Hun- if you have a coffee table watch put for him getting stuck under it, dd2 used to do that!
Dd3 is quite good at playing now, sat in a tent in the garden with dd1/2 yesterday playing while dd2 chattered & dd1 read. We pottered round them. Was lovely.

Last jabs done, grumpy baby now & dh has gone for an interview so looking forward to getting out to pick up dd2.

CheeseEnforcementAgency · 29/03/2011 14:54

Oh & I miss loads of people now as they've dropped off/got lives/kept too busy!

TysonNobdie86 · 29/03/2011 15:31

I miss Hermya too, was thinking of her this morning :(
Ikea said we will have to take the highchair back, its an 80min round trip Angry Why cant they just post the straps!
Will look at rein then cheese :)

NoHunIntended · 29/03/2011 15:50

As if on cue! DS was playing/crawling on the bed just now, and threw himself over the guard rail! I caught him, as I could see it coming. Silly little bugger.

Yeah, loads of people have dropped off. I think it's a shame. I see a few people on other threads, so they are still about.

Tyson, that really is terrible service from Ikea.

TysonNobdie86 · 29/03/2011 16:55

Yes there is only a handful of us keeping this thread going now. I still love this thread though and it means alot to me that we can still chat about our babies :)

CheeseEnforcementAgency · 29/03/2011 16:56

Tyson what a PITA!

Hun- good catch!

Dh got today's job, woohoo!
Got another interview next week so may end up with 2 at this rate. as they'd be a good combo & both hobby-jobs!

Dd3 starting to feel a bit rough from jabs I think, bit on windgy side.

TysonNobdie86 · 29/03/2011 16:59

Well done cheese dh Grin
Which jabs has she had? are these the four month ones late? Hope she feels better soon

CheeseEnforcementAgency · 29/03/2011 17:03

Yes 4 month ones, 6 months break now then next lot

TysonNobdie86 · 29/03/2011 17:15

At least it the last for a while, i hate the jabs.

ILoveGregoryHouse · 29/03/2011 19:23

Quick question on baby weight. DD is 5.7kg at 20 weeks. She was 3.1kg born and dropped to 2.9kg. Which translates as 6lb 15oz born, dropping to 6lb 7oz and is now 12lb 4oz I think. This is weeny I suspect but anyone else with similar birthweight for their dd and what are they now? Am concerned her reflux is now stopping her weight gain.
