see i knew mlic would be the voice of reason

terrible night here for the 3rd (or is it 4th or 5th?) night running. it was slightly better in that A stayed in her bed and 'only' fed twice but she couldn't keep her dummy in due to her snotty nose so was complaining about that regularly.

am loathe to put her in her own room til she's sleeping a bit better again.

anyway, off to playbarn with friends later so hopefully that won't feel too demanding.

what is everyone up to today?

OP posts:
Chulita · 04/02/2011 08:16

Morning! at last a not-so-bad night here. Samwise grizzled it out around 7.30, woke at 1am [amazed emoticon] fed and slept til 5.30, fed and grizzled it out (again) and is still asleep now. I could handle nights like that.

cake Samsonian seems to have 10 days of crap nights and then 1 or 2 good-ish. Everytime I'm getting yet again for a feed I have to hold onto the thought that at some point I'll get a semi-decent night.

We're finally off to the doc's today, I've got a list to bring up with them about both dc...we'll see how that goes, then off to bf group.

The only potentially odd thing I like is lettuce in my nutella sandwich but that's more of a texture than a taste thing. tsc your spud/onion/ming is just wrong on so many levels... Grin

DesperateHousewife20 · 04/02/2011 08:40

You are all so lovely! I feel better about it this morning, no phone call/knock on the door from anyone so Im guessing she didnt do anything.
Besides it should be ME doing something as she hit my car.

Anyway Im going to the BF group this morning and hopefully town with a friend if she doesnt cancel.

I want to know too tsc! Can you put it on fb?
Also everything you mentioned you like eating is exactly the same as me.

Stac2011 · 04/02/2011 10:30

each to their own eh? Lol

Glad your feeling better dh hope you have a good day. Are you going to phone morrisons?

Crap night here too I hate her dummy!

Avoiding going out today as its gale force winds and the rain is coming down in sheets. Anyone else up to much?

Woodlands · 04/02/2011 10:54

Lettuce with nutella is definitely odd in my book.

I've been out to buggy bootcamp this morning so feel virtuous, plus i then got on the scales and I am now back to pre-pregnancy weight. yay! anything I lose from here on will be a bonus.

i have no plans for the rest of the day, and dh is out after work so it's just me and the boy till well after his bedtime. i'm thinking of going to ikea as we've decided to buy the antilop highchair, plus i can have meatballs and chips for lunch and then i don't need to do much for dinner tonight. or i might go later, after nap time. have just phoned a friend to see if she fancies popping round or i could go to hers, but no reply. hmm.

might also go to sainsbury's to buy some 9-12 month babygros and vests - J is busting out of the 6-9 month ones suddenly, though trousers and tops are still ok.

HotGiggity · 04/02/2011 10:56

Been on FB, all your babies are amazing and beautiful!!

HotGiggity · 04/02/2011 10:59

Woodlands J has been in 9-12 month clothes since before xmas, he's just too lanky.

CakeandRoses · 04/02/2011 11:01

i snorted at nutella and lettuce being potentially odd too Grin

i've just cleaned and tidied the larder [basically now an archangel emoticon]. A gazillion opened packs of cous cous, anyone?

am trying a different move with felix's nap - he's 'playing quietly' in his bed whilst i feed A, then he'll go down. hopefully.

doesn't look too windy here but wont be outdoors much anyway

aren't you soft-playing mlic?
