honey I'm sorry you are having such a stress with bottles, I had that with the boy child at 4.5 months. Mini FC will take a bottle, but won't settle afterwards. I think it's a combination of wind and liking the comfort. I haven't worked out a solution yet...

And I agree about the nappy thing. 'oh, a nice fresh nappy, quick, let's make it all toasty warm and gooey to sit in'!

Mr FC is doing tea tonight, steak and chips. I'm hoping it will give me more energy. It all feels a bit relentless today...! We went to see a cranium osteopath today, he said that MiniFC was fine, and was probably totally ready to come out when he did, which was interesting. And I went because I'm still getting pins and needles in my feet after the spinal. I saw the Dr, who said it wasnt a DVT, but a trapped nerve. He hasn't fixed it yet, but it's definitely better.

pony, I like the iPhone, but the FC has the HTC Desire, which he lurrrrves....

Ummm... And please can I come along to the next London meet up? I'm quite nice although a bit too talkative...

Cosmosis · 05/02/2011 17:41

you can haz neurofen innit.

rollerbaby · 05/02/2011 21:48

Silver hope you found some lemon scented tablets... and feeling better now. Being ill with a small being is shite.

okie you are well nice. He is a screamer when presented with the bottle, it is troo. However, we will persevere. I am a stubborn old moo when necessary. He is taking some, although not alot, so I guess that is not a total refusal and we just need to keep going. (according to practice nurse).

mrs fc steak and chips you lucky cah. I hope you are now sipping a nice glass of red wine and all. The wind is a bleeding nightmare, I sympathise. We had it for 2 months I reckon. Crying and arching during and after feeds. It was horrible. But do you know, all of a sudden in the last week or so, he has literally stopped getting wind. He burps and farts of his own accord, no more vomiting and is lovely and smiley after feeds. Brilliant. These things feel like they are forever, but it is teaching me that I should stop worrying and the bad things get better.

Lets do another London meet up soooooooon. When Cunty is back and get Iggy along too. Dates ladies? alp can you not just fly over for gods sake? :)

MsFC · 05/02/2011 21:59

Yes alpy, fly fly fly!!

I am drinking pink champagne. It's bloody lush it is.

rollerbaby · 05/02/2011 22:02

I only drink pink fizz you know. :)

MsFC · 05/02/2011 22:51

honey money, I always knew we'd be good friends.

AlpinePony · 06/02/2011 07:02

Well maybe I should do a 48 hr trip with the car & do Sainsburys too! Grin

rollerbaby · 06/02/2011 13:47

Well how about week after next on a Monday? Mondays are always shite and frankly a wee martini in the afternoon would not go amiss... :) We could meet up somewhere centralish or you are all welcome round my gaff to be terrorised by the dog. Your choice! I appreciate it might be a bit far for you MrsFC...

Mr Moo is home! He is a bit jetlagged so have fed him and sent him to bed for an hour. Baby asleep, house peaceful and it's lovely really.

rollerbaby · 06/02/2011 13:48

Ooh advice please. Babymoo has got what looks like an irritated hangnail and the skin around it is red and swollen. What should I do? Mistakenly googled and infection obviously v dangerous, but does not look pus-filled or anything.

SilverSky · 06/02/2011 14:19

Happy Sunday all!

I'm still ill. Painkillers and throat sweets only allowed as per the pharmacists advice. Luckily MB is not being too demanding aside from the usual nappy change and immediate filling larky which is tiring ESP when you notice his vest needs changing.

Today I went for a walk round Virginia Water lakes with MB and the dawg. Was v nice and the fresh air revived me for a bit. Now I'm home I'm knackered. Just home for an hour or so and we'll be heading out to the stables again. Early to bed for me I think.

HI also ill but gone to work. His comments this morning included not wanting to get too close to MB cos of his cold............ Er...... But it's ok for me??

moo sorry no advice - what's new ! Hope BabyMoo is ok.

Muser · 06/02/2011 14:21

I needs to have this baby so I can meet honeymoo and her lufferly dog.

Just came by to see how you all are and leave some more champagne. Hopefully there should be see some new arrivals in here soon, if Cho and Clucky can shake theirs out. And I am convinced gin is going to pop any second.

SilverSky · 06/02/2011 14:22

Oh and I forgot my big news! We haz new car!! Diesel!! So I will be soon be waving a big fat goodbye to my gas guzzler!! So so so happy!!!

OkieCokie · 06/02/2011 20:41

Just wrote long post and lost it. Basically, moo no advise on the hangnail, sorry. Sorry you are crook silv - bath, homemade lemsip and bed for you m'dear and Alps you should come! I will even bake a cake if you do.

Peppa's arse is still bad Sad. May go back to doctor.

PollyPoo · 06/02/2011 22:35

Oh poor peppa, that is not good. Sad. Hope she gets better vey soon okes.

Sorry moo can't advise on nail - Boo gets loads and whatever I do usually seems to hurt her and/or make it worse. Blush

PollyPoo · 06/02/2011 23:02

Hope you feel better too Silv.

AlpinePony · 07/02/2011 07:25

Gah! I was kind of joking but after you said that I had a quick look and the chunnel would be around 50 shiny coins which is very doable isn't it? Obviously I'm working ft - so I might have a word with the boss man when I go in to the office after lunch and see if I can make a long weekend out of it - trouble is, mon/tues are my non-negotiable days - what about end of week? I grew up in sarf east lahndahn so am happy to stay sarf of the river and everyfink and then just nip back down to Folkstone. I'm going to ask an old schoolfriend if I can crash overnight at hers - she lives around the corner from the school I've not seen in 21 years. AIBU to throw eggs at it? (It's a grammar if this were to sway! Wink)

Alpy do it! We could easily do thurs or Friday of next week which would mean hopefully cunty will have recovered from holibobs. Do we have a plan? Muse you will have to come along, baby or no baby! How exciting.

Well you know that fucking big corner everyone goes on about? Well I think I turned it. Found myself "popping" roast potatoes in oven mid bedtime routine last night and still managing to get baby to bed for 7. Woke up once but slept really well and all up and dressed and out by7.50!!! Off to docs to check out various ailments (him: nail infection and green pop me: you don't want to know). Feeling very on top of it today... Hurrah!

Cosmosis · 07/02/2011 08:52

Artie has got impetigo, so we have anti biotic cream to spread on his 'ead and antibiotic syrup to squirt down his gob. Like that doesn't go everywhere! also realised where we are going wrong with his sleeping, all you need them to do to go to sleep on their own is go out to dinner at friends houses, twce we have done this and twice he has just gone to sleep!

AlpinePony · 07/02/2011 09:13

Oh the poor little muffin cossie. I have just wikipedia'd it so I knew what you were talking about! Grin Of course the major advantage of having dinner at the houses of others is the lack of preparation and cleaning up involved - I'd suggest this trend continues!

moo I'll have a look at my calendar and talk to the boss man - will likely be very end of the month because I'd rather move house first so I can fill my cupboards with crap from Sainsburys.

Pony it would be lovely to meet you. Before the end of Feb would be ideal too as I know cunty returns to work in March and I am sure she would hate to miss out.

Moo I am pleased you found the corner. Does it feel good? And call me inquisitive but yes I do want to know what your doctor's appt is for!? Are you diffed?

CurlyCasper · 07/02/2011 15:37

Hello all, just attempting some lurkage if laptop decides to stop being a bastard.

Baby and I have caught the Fesh flu Sad. Lemon products being sought.

I thought I'd posted here drunk at the weekend, but guess either phone or I was in capable...

rollerbaby · 07/02/2011 15:50

Hello woman with nice hair. Hope you feel better soon. Flu is not funny. Hope you are getting help from your other half and managing to rest.

okie that corner is fabulous. Most people find it in 6 weeks apparently. It took me 12. Typical. I was on the go all morning but then by 1pm was fit to drop just as babymoo decides that he is waaaaaay too tired to even be rocked to sleep in his buggy. Cue major screaming session but luckily daddy stepped in and I lay down for a good hour. Poor mr moo is jetlagged to fuck. That'll learn him to bugger off to S.F. have 3 nights out, drink nice wine and see the Golden Gate Bridge without me!!!

No diffedness to report. Actually it turns out I have a couple of patches of ringworm on the backs of my arms by my armpit. Niiiiiccceeee. It's basically thrush in your armpit. Apparently you get it when you are run down. Also she said no more sechs until see consultant next week due to bleeding during the act. I mean it's not like I was planning it every night until then, so I think we'll survive.

Okie how is peppas bum? That is really dragging on now. is she ok? poor monkey. May I have a scone please?
