I am so tired! R's nose is blocked so she kept wanting a drink. Had put her into her cot but gave up at 4am and brought her in with us, were she kept wanting fed. I shouldnt moan considering what you all go through soz. On top of that af is on its way, i'm getting the cold oh and have pmt lmao. Thank goodness we are staying in. Dp's mum has a severe chest infection the doc says if there isnt an improvement today they are admitting her to hospital.

Looks like we're all in the same boat for new year, i can't be bothered just want sleep lmao. A friend is having a party but i dont want to leave R.

Its not been the worse year but just cant wait for a new start.

Hows everyone today? X

I'm recovering, thanks Chulita. :) I sound like my voice has finally broken, but my nose is clear now and AF is packing her bags. Helped that M was exceptionally well behaved last night and I got loads of sleep and a lie in!

She also just finally rolled over from back to front. Grin [proud Mummy] Took her long enough to figure it out. Wink

Very Envy of the panto, Melissa! I love pantos [big child] but DH says I can't take M to one until she's older. :(

No plans for NYE here, we're going to bed at normal time and planning to sleep through the celebrations. We're very lucky to have a good sleep routine here and I don't want to risk losing it!

Tomorrow though we have a few friends over for a feast lunch, which'll be nice. Speaking of which, better get back to house tidying. Confused

Happy New Year from 2011 Grin

We didn't stay up til midnight, just had a few glasses of bubble, watched a film and went to bed about 10 pm. DH's sister and her dh had sent our Christmas presents to the wrong address so the neighbour they had been sent to brought them over yesterday evening - 2 books for me, a book for dh and a Bill Bailey DVD - quite cool to get a present on New yrs eve.

whatshesaid you lied! What a fantastic night...couldn't settle S til 11, up at 12, 1 and then 5 and from the he wouldn't settle. So, yea, I got 4 hours sleep in a row but still feel like warmed up cat turds.

But, happy new year everyone! May you all have a year filled with happiness, fulfilment and crawling/eating/sleeping babies :)

Happy New Year everyone! :)

Shock You lied, WSS? But, but... M settled particularly easily and slept from 7:30pm-6:30am, when she happily chattered to herself for half an hour! Would you mind lying to her again? Grin

Also, can I have my space ship in blue please? Wink Getting bored of all the pink busy infiltrating my house.

Happy new year all!

We had a crap night, fireworks right outside the window kept us up til half 12 then D woke at half 4 and has an almighty blocked nose so couldn't feed him back to sleep. Im so tired I could cry.

At FIL house right now, we stayed the night, don't have any plans today but determined to get a sleep in somewhere.

I gave Dylan banana, bread and parsnip tonight, he seemed to enjoy it all, he made an almighty mess though! Still going ahead with BLW, seems to be working well for us :)

Hey, BLW people, what is good to give as first finger food? G is on purees at mo but she keeps trying to grab solid food out of my hand when I have it. I gave her a bit of watermelon yesterday which she liked but I think it was quite hard to hold (slippy) as she kept dropping it.

I'm thinking maybe steamed carrot sticks, banana cut into sticks...what else is quite easy for them to hold and chew on but isn't going to make me panic that she'll choke?
