That would be the pink paisley one on the Joules website, Cake ? I like the purple spotted raincoat next to it here.

Boden seem to have sold out of their nice jackets in dd's size e.g. I like this one here but they are sold out of it in purple.

CrimboCakeandRoses · 27/12/2010 23:30

yes!

spotty one lovely too but i have a penchant for paisley!

that's the downside of sales - all the good stuff goes quickly Sad

my aunt got rileigh a lovely jacket from matalan, not to expensive but the stuff washes well, also we got a purple jacket from h&m for her. Have you tried mothercare or bebe mamon?

Dd is still unwell, the cough seems to be calming now but she isnt eating as much as usual, I had to force some porridge into her. I'll see how she is tomorrow then maybe go to out of hours

sake shopping tomorrow and ds is going to see harry potter.

No, it's me spoiling the thread with my insane excitement about clothes for dd1 Grin. Think anything over the 30 quid mark makes me feel like I'm asking for too much from them, maybe in the 20 quid-ish range.

I will browse through suggested sites and have a think. That brown fleece is nice too...and yes they have it in purple...

just back from out of hours with rileigh she has bronchiolitis, she is knackered and we are worried sick. Can any of the ladies who have been through this give me advice on how to help her? Thanks x

WhatSheSaid · 28/12/2010 07:23

Sad Stac, sorry no experience of this but I've jsut copied and pasted this from a website on bronchiolitis. If you do a search of the archives on MN you might find some suggestions too.

What can I do for my baby?

* Give your baby small amounts of fluid frequently

* Use a humidifier in your baby?s room to help keep the air moist ? or take your child into a bathroom where you?ve run hot water from a shower or bath to create a moist, misty environment

* Keep your child upright to help them breathe

* Some health professionals recommend tilting your babies mattress up slightly to aid breathing

* Keep your baby away from people with colds, fevers and flues to prevent contracting the illness

* Be meticulous about hygiene for yourself and your baby

* Don?t smoke around your baby

Oh dear. Poor R. I've got no tips, just wanted to say, I hope she feels better soon, Stac

Nothing exciting happening here. We are trying whether restricting M's daytime naps to 2 instead of 3 will make her sleep through the night again rather than waking 4 times. Last night was a slight improvement so we'll keep persevering.

Getting excited about our holiday. We are off next week to Lanzarote for 3 weeks of winter sun. Can't wait. Feel slightly worried though about traveling with such a tiny baby. Has anybody got any tips?

WSS Oh, exciting task. Nothing new to add, just second the Joules stuff. And for basic everyday things I think M+S are just brilliant. I think I started valuing and missing it much more since I've left the UK. Luckily they deliver abroad, unlike John Lewis. Arrgh.

MLIC How are you and W feeling today? Hope you are both better.

Spirael I hear you on the AF thing, sister. It's been so much worse and more painful and heavy. Yet another bf lie, Ooh, you won't have it while bf. Bollocks!

Memphis Hope the tooth will be getting better soon. Toothache is horrible and so scary.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the 12 days of Christmas.

Poor R hope she's better soon. Don't worry about the solids, concentrate on getting the milk into her it's far more important than food.

Feeling better thanks trudyla. My eye looks a little better but more importantly doesn't hurt much today. And had a relatively good night with W, but then E came into our room at 6.20. Not impressed with this growth spurt he's just had meaning he can now reach his door handle!

wss I don't really do 'posh' shops like cake so most of our stuff is from M&S, Next, George at Asda and...nope that's pretty much it! M&S stuff is really durable I find, good value for money. George/Asda is for messy play type clothes as they're an absolute bargain and I tend to get jeans from next and all E's winter coats have been from there. I just got W's snowsuit from Boots, I don't have much as my nearest (convenient) Boots doesn't stock much but what I have had seems good quality. Tesco clothes are online and they're ok. Nowt flash, but ok.

second the tesco clothes you can pick up lovely little bits in there. next and asda clothes lovely too. h&m has gorgeous bits. had a look at the joules website and there's GORGEOUS stuff on it!
stac poor little riliegh! don't really have much advice. just keep her propped up and like mlic says don't worry about the solids. just get as much milk in to her as possible as its far more beneficial to her. and bring her into a steamy bathroom for 10 mins is supposed to be good. poor little girl!
still in my mums. went to friends for dinner yesterday and i swear i've never seen such a feed in my life! nobody could finish it! so we have to go down and finish it for dinner today! heading back home then and hopefully we'll be going back to a house with water! fingers firmly crossed...!

Hello! Been to the sales today. Got Dylan a coat and 2 tops from Next for £14.

Also non-sale items include a hand blender, Cath Kidston mug and socks for DP.

My mum was with us and she bought a Guess bag, I was so annoyed at her, she knows I love those bags (Ive got a Guess purse) and she just bought one for £85 on her credit card. Im going to steal borrow it from her in about a month or so Grin

Nightmare about your tooth memphis, hope you get sorted soon.

kk she probably is, they tend to come pretty quickly. The top two come more or less together normally too.

Just think dh. She has to find £85 to pay off her credit card and you don't. I know what I'd rather :)

My microwave's daffy ducked. We can't really get anywhere tonight so I'll have to make do and we'll go shopping tomorrow. Will have to get through the night with boiled water for W's bottles!!

Mam got me a dress from Next for Christmas which I wouldn't be able to wear as it was wool and made me very itchy and also a cardigan which was a funny length, so I'd never wear it. She is taking them back and I've just ordered myself a new present with the money! Oh how life has changed, I'm very excited about a pair of wellies Grin

Small mercy for them mlic getting 2 teeth out of the way together! Love the wellies by the way! Must invest in a pair myself as they're the only thing for that snow.
dh i love guess too! I have a couple of the bags and they wear really well. they're as perfect as the day i got them so well worth the money.
Just back home now and still no water! argh!!! it can't take much bloody longer can it? It was 10 degrees today so very mild and i really thought it would be back. I have a mound of washing to be done and a house to clean. Hopefully tomorrow!

evening all! just got back from a couple of days at my parents, it was so much fun despite the lack of central heating/hot water/lighting. We had a mini get together with my sister, her DH and 4 children and my older brother, his DW and their little bubba cooking away inside - it was soooo good!
mlic fwiw if you pee on a q-tip and wipe it on a stye it fixes it Hmm it works but you might not want to do it!
