Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
HoHoHotsAMerryChristmas · 24/12/2010 18:34

I'm still sober and love you all too; has been a good year having so many friends, and you are no longer new friends but old friends Xmas Smile

Did the portable North Pole thing here too, DD was entranced but DS cried Xmas Shock and the reminder from FC to brush his teeth properly was missed in the wailing, oh well better luck next year Xmas Grin

70 minutes to bed time...

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 24/12/2010 18:44

We did our PNP thing after bath & the elves had delivered jammies. DD1 was entranced and did not know how he had got photos of her and DD2. DD2 less impressed Grin

I brought in a bowl of nuts (cracking ones) thinking no-one would pinch them Hmm. DD1 has taken a shine to brazil nuts and DD2 the almonds. DH is eating all the hazlenuts. Leaves me with the walnuts Angry

Oh, and apologies for flippancy earlier. I really DO love you all.
Honest Wink

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 24/12/2010 18:46

Much fortitude to you hots. we have 15 14 mins and counting....

HoHoHotsAMerryChristmas · 24/12/2010 18:53

Am hoping the 8pm bedtime means a little lie-in in the morning [deluded]Xmas Grin Actually they have been really good all week, today was the earliest at 7.20am but all bets are off for the morning I suppose.

DD has left 3 chocolate chip cookies and a glass of fizzy water out for Father Christmas and a bowl of carrots for the reindeer. She is so excited

hippyChristmaspotamus · 24/12/2010 19:18

i guess you're all alright really!

hippyChristmaspotamus · 24/12/2010 19:20

and if you can't beat them, join them.... your support this year has been tremendous and I really don't think I'd be sitting here happily waiting for FC to arrive if it hadn't been for you guys

luckoftheirish · 24/12/2010 19:26

Dad's plane has pushed back!!!!

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 24/12/2010 19:31

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 24/12/2010 19:39

UrsulaUnderTheMistletoe · 24/12/2010 19:43

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 24/12/2010 19:54

The Luck of The Irish has some magic Smile

HoHoHotsAMerryChristmas · 24/12/2010 20:15

Hurrah for your Dad finally on his way Loti Xmas Smile

DD out like a light, DS still awake Xmas Hmm so have sent DH up to bore encourage him to sleep. I wanna get the presents out Xmas Grin

CaptainCaveman · 24/12/2010 20:19

ds2 zzzing, ds1 having stories with daddy. I have just bought ds1s last prezzie - an online game called p lants vs z ombies Xmas Hmm which I couldn't buy until he'd gone to bed tonight otherwise he'd open it up on the pc and realise he'd got the game he'd asked for Xmas Grin

loti yay, prayers answered for your dads flight! Yippee!!!!

Once ds1 is asleep I will make some snowy footprints across the wooden dining room floor Grin. Santa has some nice red wine "to warm his tummy" and 2 sausage rolls, and the reindeer have some chanterey carrots

Go on hippo let your softee side out Xmas Grin

CaptainCaveman · 24/12/2010 20:20

Also, O learnt to say his name today "oli-er" (awww, bless)

CaptainCaveman · 24/12/2010 20:22

Dad's landed!!! Xmas GrinXmas Grin shhhhh he is really Santa claus Xmas Grin

HoHoHotsAMerryChristmas · 24/12/2010 21:03

Feckity feckity feck, was just merrily filling the stockings when DS wandered in saying 'hello mummy I'm awake' Xmas Shock managed to bundle the stuff behind the chair without him seeing, and DH has gone up with him and another bottle of milk in the hope of sending him off to sleep properly Times like this though I do appreciate my inability to settle my own son to sleep...

Yay for the safe landing of your dad loti, hope you have a magnificent Christmas.

In fact that goes for everyone, whatever/whoever you do/don't believe in (Father Christmas here Xmas Grin) I hope you have a blissful day tomorrow Xmas Smile

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 24/12/2010 21:10

Aha hots, You should have done it earlier. [smug bitch emoticon]WinkGrin

blueberrysantabait · 24/12/2010 21:19

Crispy - if you did it earlier - how do they hang out their stockings? or are you super smug and have 2 one for hanging and one pre stuffed?

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 24/12/2010 21:21

No just tipsy bbbb and read hots posts as 'wrapping the stocking presents' Blush. I am supping red wine hence mistake eating cheese and watching crap tele whilst DH finally wraps his presents Hmm

HoHoHotsAMerryChristmas · 24/12/2010 21:22

OK smartarse, how would I have done that when DD only hung the empty stockings on the mantelpiece at 7.40pm??? I am not made of money to have a spare pair of identical stockings, the ones we have cost £1.49 each Xmas ShockXmas Wink The gifts were already wrapped in special FC paper so it's just moving them from the bag to the stocking. He is sleeping now thank feck so off to stuff 'em

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 24/12/2010 21:29

I have yet to do the transfer, so you are ahead of me Wink

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 24/12/2010 21:29

Sorry, FC has yet to do the transfer Grin

blueberrysantabait · 24/12/2010 21:44

DH has taken the job of stuffing stockings - it is the only thing he has done with regard ot the who present thing! Well, actually I lie - He forced me into the kitchen earlier so he could wrap my presents - using parcel tape and paper Xmas Hmm
