Cashel Blue here too. Hurrah.
Dh has made the same point, Crispy, about me wanting to escape from the much-wanted kitchen.

Not a thing wrapped here and I'm just contemplating making meringues before I go to bed. Hmm

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 22/12/2010 22:11

We went to Cashel red during our Irish trip. But you can't actually buy it there Hmm

RedLentil · 22/12/2010 22:16

Smoked Gubbeen is the top cheese here this year though. It's made not far from here and it's just gorgeous. (Off to cut a slice) DS loves it.

hippyChristmaspotamus · 22/12/2010 22:17

but its got mould in it!!

hippyChristmaspotamus · 22/12/2010 22:19

not yours red, i meant cashel blue has!

CrispyTheChristmasCracker · 22/12/2010 22:24

Oh yes, ursula introduced us to Gubeen. Tis lovely.

Only a hint of mould hips, honest. It is really creamy and spreads beautifully. I have trouble with crumbly blue cheeses Hmm

santashappychick · 22/12/2010 22:32

I have no trouble with any cheese Blush Grin
