crap night dd2 poorly all night and ended in with us followed by dd1 and both up at 6.10am ..

due to head off to southend and the snow has definitely missed us and there but its the in between that has me worried

Sorry to hear of your disturbed night santa . DD2 got up at 4am and was wandering the house. DH went upstairs to find she had got a cup, got the milk out but couldn;t get the lid off (she had taken a full carton rather than an opened one). She had then transported it to the top of the stairs (and lined it up neatly with the cup) but couldn't carry it down as too heavy.
DH gave her some milk and she went straight back to bed

Hope you get to Southend Santa, although i am not sure you will be getting home any time soon. The centre of the snow is now forecasted over us.
We have a dinner party with the 'posh' neighbours tonight and i have already cleared us turning up with camp beds for the DD's as our babysitter is unlikely to make it

LOL we have Bambi. DH has gone out to play in Patsy in the snow buy emergency supplies....

santa it is an annual event, although normally drinks and canapes (think Oonah's turkey curry buffet in Bridget Jones and you will be on the right lines) for friends and neighbours of next door.
This year there is a change of format and it is a select dinner party for the residents of 'Central P'dise' . I fear i may need to be on my best behaviour. Eek.
Oh and avoid the chest leering behaviour of one of the other guests [fbear]
