Morning, O is still asleep . It's 20 past 9!!!! Sadly, ds1 got me up at 7.20 . Dh still asleep too, so the pair of them are in our bed zzzzing

Not a jot of snow here, just white over with ice. I have to go into town to finish my christmas shopping. I'm sure it'll be hell!

We have had snow since 8am and still coming down. DH still out playing . The girls are dressed which is a start i suppose . I have just canx the babysitter tonight as i didn't want her worrying all day she would be letting us down (she is lovely and would worry lol)

DH is waiting on a parcel arriving, as well as DD1's present so he took the remote doorbell from the back (kitchen) door and put it out the front. I've just answered the door to the postie who had knocked after finding the button half way down the path Got to love a bloke that's handy around the house

oh and the bunk beds arrived, no idea if they're nice or not as they're still in their (numerous) boxes in the box room downstairs!

We are all dressed, finally. Seems like some mahoosive achievement today

Forgot we have Saturday post deliveries here before Christmas and was still wearing ridiculous spotty pyjamas when our lovely but slightly lecherous postman burst through the door.

Up to my oxters in WDHD work at the moment which has got to be good. Dh actually managed to comment that it was a 'good thing' yesterday. Which is progress.

DD1 has gone to Skibbereen to see Santy, and the other two have dug out the Wii. Time to make a pot of coffee and do useful stuff with them I think.

I forgot to say, bibi, thanks so much for the lovely present. It's gorgeous!

Good morning ladies. I have missed you all. Thank goodness for F B otherwise I'd have totally lost from the group. There's no way to catch up. I will attempt to jump in here and stay with the pack. ((((((((hugs))))))))))) to all that need them.

I have swamped with a million things. This is not a complaint. I love keeping busy.

I am project managing dd2's preschool playground expansion: budgets and contractors and brilliant fun elements. If only the "artistic" contractors weren't so difficult.

The D aisy T roop is perfection. We've moved from a church to a city hall because of our numbers. Each meeting we've had all the girls plus all their moms. I'm trying to think of what to call the moms. I do recall Crisps saying Ow ls. We are wise so that might work.

I am also still very actively volunteering in dd1's school despite the setback with the HEAD room monster in the beginning. I have been working with reading and writing. It is amazing the difference in children who are read to. Red posted her blog link at the most serendipitous time. I forwarded it along to dd1's teacher and several of my mom friends in the class.

I had a lovely story to share about Chr ist mas stuff but will save for another day.

If some of you get Chr ist mas cards and some of you don't, please share. I did not have everyone's address. Each year I gather more but I am still missing about five. I created this card just for YOU then I ran out of my ordered cards and had to go create a third card to finish out my mailings this season. Not sure how that happened. Next year I will do better.

Sec ret Sa nta was suppose to have been delivered on the 15th. I received a note this morning that delivery delays are abundant but no word if that's a delay for my mailed gift.

I'll end with a lovely story about a wonderful friend who Sk yped me for a playdate for the kids. It was so cute. The kids were cute, not me in my bathrobe and turban. Hippy maybe next time R will interact more or maybe they could watch Th omas together. That's her new addiction. In the mean time I have to figure out while my internet connection discounts randomly during a session. I think it might be my security settings. Promise to see about that!

Now if someone would explain to me why sometimes I type words I don't mean to type and other times I leave out words all together. The spelling problems I understand since I am a foul speller. Oh well....
