BBSB they are indeed lovely Xmas Smile.

Crisp you are brave - reports I've heard are that WW is great but £££ and busy busy, even in the week... friends saw Room on the Broom there though and loved it.

Santa poor girl, really begins to look like something underlying it doesn't it Sad. Hope you can get her sorted.

Silks love that blanket. Will be fun to knit. Hip your Rav name is the same as it used to be here if that helps?

Hips is too kind Blush - she and her DC were perfect guests, she looked very elegant (as always) in her jeans. Little P has grown so much since I last saw her and is such a darling - she has a really expressive face and there is no mistaking whether she is Grin or or Hmm or Sad! And T is a delight. Glad you thought I looked presentable, I squeezed into a dress on the grounds that I've hardly worn it and if not now, it would be another 2 years most likely... and spent the whole afternoon thinking I was going to burst out of it Blush

UrsulaUndress · 12/12/2010 21:52

Glad you all had a lovely meetup!

BBBB I love your boots, why the Hmm, do you not think they are sexy? I think they look so gorgeous that I think I want them!

Sounds like a great trip Crisps, we were meant to be at a similar thing this weekend and the whole thing was pulled because of snow/ice on roads and no-one being able to get to it (deepish in country). So very Envy.

ds2 has two Christmas parties next week Shock we've sort of held off on exciting him about Christmas but he'll be face to face with it all, including Himself. Anyway we put up our tree this morning, so we are on the way now!

Silks yr project sounds great. I have just taken up an abandoned patchwork (inspired by events earlier this year Hips!) to finish off for a bedspread for ds2.

CrispyTheCrisp · 12/12/2010 21:53

Pert yes it was ££ but good and the ice skating hilarious! We saw ROTB at the theatre last year and it is brilliant. highly recommended

blueberrysantabait · 12/12/2010 21:56

Thanks Ladies - Ursula the Hmm is because I can't remember the last time DH said anything I was wearing was sexy only because it is invariably covered in sick/poo/snot/2 sizes too big! He is not normally good at telling me what he thinks - "yeh, it's nice' is as good as it normally gets!

CrispyTheCrisp · 12/12/2010 21:59

LOL bbbb, DH said my tights were very sex kitten the other day. FFS, tights? Confused

Hello ursula Smile. My two both refused a visit to Santa today. Too scared Hmm

UrsulaUndress · 12/12/2010 22:08

Oooh well bbbb these boots are extragreat then. You will feel fab in them and rightly so. Weren't we just talking the other week about your lovely long legs? Enjoy Smile.

Hello Crisps Smile I'd imagine we will get the same reaction. And I don't think I'll be exactly needling ds2 with a finger in the spine to go and say hello.

UrsulaUndress · 12/12/2010 22:09

I saw some sex kitten tights the other day actually, they were opaque black with a line of glitter up the backs where seams would be. OK they sound absolutely dreadful but they were really pretty on. (not on me)

UrsulaUndress · 12/12/2010 22:09

It's really from the upper thigh up that tights stop being sexy though Grin.

HippyChristmaspotamus · 12/12/2010 22:12

perts thank you but how on earth did you know that? and how did you find silks on there?!! i've managed to successfully log on!
and you're right about P's face... there's no doubt as to exactly how she's feeling! her sad face along with proper pouting bottom lip really makes me smile Blush so i took a photo of it the other day, must put it up on fb!

blueberrysantabait · 12/12/2010 22:12

Ursula - I would get never get the seams straight and it would look like DD1 ran a glitter pen up the back of my legs! Although I think DH may have gone soft in the head as I have been promised a trip to a certain London underwear shop for some new made to measure stuff once DD2 stops feeding.

HippyChristmaspotamus · 12/12/2010 22:13

hi ursula Smile I still absolutely love P's quilt. so if you're getting out your patchwork does that mean you did sew your square? Blush

UrsulaUndress · 12/12/2010 22:15

bbbb you will feel even fabber then, it's so difficult to combine sex kitten with breastfeeding (I know some people don't think this!). The London ladies will give you a real boost (ho ho ho) and you will feel beyond luxe.

Hips your dd sounds so sweet! I am longing to see her. No Londinium trip imminent for me though. (You are welcome to come here of course!)

UrsulaUndress · 12/12/2010 22:15

I did sew it, why are you Blush at that?

blueberrysantabait · 12/12/2010 22:19

Ursula - little P is absolutely adorable and very squdgeable!

HippyChristmaspotamus · 12/12/2010 22:22

'squidgeable' = perfect word to describe her Grin

ursula... are you on skype? not now because she's asleep (so why aren't i Hmm) but if you are, i'm sure she'll chat to you another night
i'm Blush because i seem to remember teasing you about you not sewing it

UrsulaUndress · 12/12/2010 22:25

I don't remember that! Grin Give her a squdge from me Smile.

UrsulaUndress · 12/12/2010 22:26

Yes I'm on Skype so that would be fun another day, I think my username is myname_mysurname as far as I remember, I only rarely use it. Off to prepare for work tomorrow, night squidgers.

HippyChristmaspotamus · 12/12/2010 22:36

cool, glad you don't remember and i now wish i hadn't brought it up!
i'll try and add you on my skype now Smile
night night

HippyChristmaspotamus · 12/12/2010 22:37

lol, you're already a skype contact of mine ursula Grin

HippyChristmaspotamus · 12/12/2010 22:58

pert and silks...i have solved my ravelry mystery! you're now both friends of mine Smile
it would seem my husband is on there too, who knew? Grin
silks that blanket looks amazing! what colours are you doing it in?

bugger, i really have to get off here and into bed!

ds was so sweet tonight. i'd left his 'special treat, play in the morning to give mummy a few extra mins in bed' toys in his room today. i tucked him into bed, said night night etc and a few mins later i heard a noise from his room. the sneaky wotsit had got out of bed and was sitting in the middle of his room playing! the look on his face was priceless, along the lines of 'oops, i've been caught red handed!' We had a few tears but i tucked him back in again and promised if he was a good boy that he could play with them when he woke up GrinWink I checked a few mins later and he was fast asleep! With any luck, i'll have an extra half hour in bed again!

really am going to bed now
night all

RedLentil · 13/12/2010 08:00

pmsl at upper thighs.

I look about as sexy as a dead cat at the mo, and am about to swallow my pride and go for a deeply cheap haircut after 2 years of having it done somewhere nice.

I'm off to pick up a wdhd cheque this morning though, so at least I'm doing something positive to pay it all off.

We got to go out on Saturday too, to a Tidy Towns social evening of all things. The highlight was my friend's husband being as squiffy as anything, and getting sent to bed by his mum, who runs the pub, at 2am. Grin

Which was about the time I tried to explain the virtues of Twitter to the rest of the Tidy Towns committee. Confused

Anyway, it was a great night, and much helped by the fact that I really wasn't in the mood for drinking lots.

CrispyTheCrisp · 13/12/2010 08:30

We are off oop Norf....I have my camera. Whether or not it makes it out of my bag is another matter Hmm

santashappychick · 13/12/2010 09:03

Morning Sad

no meet up for me SadSad dd1 poorly so off to the docs and typically could not get appointment til 11.30.

I have enough potato and cous cous salad to feed the five thousand

Silkstalkings · 13/12/2010 09:21

Morning, feeling strangely great today. After trying the bed in 3 different positions the last 3 nights (yes I have rearranged the bedroom 3 times!), I think we have found the right one LOL. Must be something in Feng shui after all as this is def the most favourable arrangement from that point of view too.

Hippy & Pert If you look in my stash you'll find the Sirdar Click DK with pics are the ones I'll be using. I'm not into high contrast 2 colour knits so there's nothing lighter than pale blue. Am so excited about this project, my mum has bought me the book for Crimbo and there's even a Rav group to help me when I get stuck!

Kurt has a new word that announces his gender so succinctly by its very existence: Optimus Prime! (O-o-nus Hime) Sounds v funny because although he has quite a deep bellow and 'No', he generally talks in a very simpering, baby voice with much Princess Di eyelash-peering. Which gives me hope for those free backstage passes to Les Mis one dayGrin.

BibiBelle · 13/12/2010 12:58

afternoon all. I am boiler less and still bloody freezing whilst being miserable and unable to motivate myself to get on with the MILLION things I need to do before Wed
