Wow at L being almost 2 already!
Sorry to hear you're having a stressful time SOL, hope your DH is better soon.

oooggs · 20/01/2011 19:45

SBP - when you posted this afternoon he was 2!!!!

Luke is now 2 as of this morning and didn't we know it Wink

StealthPolarStuckSpaceBar · 20/01/2011 21:55

Ahh happy Birthday Luke :)

Sexonlegs · 21/01/2011 10:19

Happy Belated Birthday Luke :) Hope you had a lovely day yesterday Oooggs. x

Dh still ill :( He picked up a bit yesterday but is now back in bed. I feel for him, but I don't see why if he can make himself breakfast, he can't put his stuff in the dishwasher grrrrrr. I am so tired, I overslept until 7.30 this morning.

The good news is, that I am going to pick up my new car in an hour or so :) :)

Happy Days.

oooggs · 21/01/2011 19:50

lovely a new car sol - what did you get?

Sexonlegs · 21/01/2011 19:59

Its a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso :) It is GORGEOUS!! Dark grey metallic, panoramic roof, and, when you turn it off, the wing mirrors automatically bend in!! LOVE IT!!

How is everyone else doing?

Dooby, how are you lovely?

Dh still ill. It is driving me bonkers!!

oooggs · 21/01/2011 20:02

sol - I have a Citroen C8 and my wing mirrors do that - love it - well that and the electric sliding doors Wink

Dooby - do pop in and let us know how you are?

Numbers are low on this thread again Sad so much so that I am managing to keep up with the 'Feb Febbers 09' as well Blush

Sexonlegs · 21/01/2011 20:16

Oooh get you Oooggs!! I guess you have the handbrake that is a push button, and comes off automatically when you pull away?

oooggs · 21/01/2011 20:43

no chance!!!! the handbrake is normal but...... is on the right hand side which I am used too as have had the car 2 years now but can prove a problem if I have to drive another car Blush I think it is a 54 plate so not new.

StealthPolarStuckSpaceBar · 21/01/2011 21:28

I know, where is everyone :(
Dh's car turns its lights and wiprs on as needed, which just means if he ever drives mine I have to nag him :o

Sexonlegs · 21/01/2011 21:44

Oooh SPB, like the sound of that :)

I am just waiting for a car that makes a nice cuppa :)

cazboldy · 21/01/2011 21:50

Morning all.Happy Birthday LukeSmile
Cars sound fab we have just changed ours for more econimical one...we had nissan xtrail petrol with leather[wipe clean interior] Grin as boys v messy. We now have renault megane dynamique that is diesel. It does double the miles so ds1 is still going to go to King's.We even got as far as appeal date forlocal school but had really good think and are keeping him at King's.He is happy there.
I am fine still bleeding and have ascan in week or so.
It is odd as I have never been through this but at least boys have been spared any trauma ikykwim.
Hope the poorlyuns are better...ythey are growing up fast It seems sometimes.
Grin to your dh Caz but sorry you having rough time.

oooggs, ahh at growing up! I think I have a heart of stone (or a tiny house :)) as getting rid of baby stuff is always a joyous occasion for me :o Can't wait to get rid of the travel cot - in fact now DD is in a bed could probably get on with it, but ironically she is using it for the first time tonight, if we can remember how it all goes together

oooggs · 22/01/2011 15:30

Doobydoo · 22/01/2011 21:16

It's bonkers.DS1 wouldn't sleep in his cot. When he was really little I used to put him in his car seat in his cot but that didn't workHmm
He had a double bed.In fact he never slept throught he night till he was and a half!

Doobydoo · 22/01/2011 21:17

4 and a halfBlush

ScarletBandit · 23/01/2011 10:27

Hi all.

Dooby, I was really sorry to read about your news. Hope you are doing ok, can't imagine what it's like as I have never had to go through it. Take care xx

SOL, it is lovely to see you back here with your chirpiness (is that a word?) back. Hope dh is getting better. It is tough when everything falls to you to sort out, very tiring and stressful. If he is still bad get him to go back to the docs as they should have given him antibiotics. Alternatively get him to go today, my experience with the out of hours service is that they are already writing a prescription for antibiotics as you walk through the door!

Oooggs, can't believe Luke is two, hope you all had a lovely day. Also can't believe my baby is hurtling very quickly towards her fourth birthday Shock

Not much happening here, still in my pj's which is lovely.
Start jury service tomorrow which I am very apprehensive about, but have no choice so will go and see what I get!

oooggs · 23/01/2011 15:41

Merry Christmas !!!!!!!

we are currently having our 2nd Christmas day with DH's mum & neice - full Christmas dinner, christmas pud & presses Grin
