Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Lordy, have to say I'm glad K isn't the only one doing the proper 2yr old thing.

Had a great day yesterday, crackodawn swimming lessons, family trip to library and got the kids' passport pics done, K's is hilarious as they gave him a biscuit so he has a v self-satisfied smirk (apparently under 5s get relaxed rules on smiling.) Then we took tea over to MIL who's still fairly immobile after foot surgery and got a bit depressed as usual about how flippin autistic FIL is and how they are each other's carer. I just wish we could convince them to sell up and buy a flat/bungalow/house with downstairs loo here so I could fit her in my daily routine (ok they only live 10miles away .) They are just not considering the future, as if this foot surgery is going to stop her breaking her hip one day.
Rant over, is just me avoiding the task of building DD's new wardrobe which has been sat in its box for weeksBlush.
Have a nice day y'allSmile.

Did anyone else drool over watch the Take That documentary last night Grin

BibiBelle · 14/11/2010 14:35

L conked out on the couch and E and D playing nicely.

Heating on here and we're all still in pyjamas Grin

didn't see the TT documentary - DH and I were watching The Hangover again for some mindless laughs!

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 14/11/2010 17:23

We too are having a proper winter Sunday: DS playing with his toys, DH on the sofa watching Deal Or No Deal, me cooking jacket spuds and (home made) baked beans. It's parky out! Had a nice walk in the park this morning but was very brrr.

TwilightSurfer · 14/11/2010 17:25

our fake but very beautiful christmas tree is up. the girls and i will decorate it this week. it really looks just lovely with only lights. i am planning for a very crazy week. dh will be out of town most of it. i have a green school initiative meeting on monday. i have a playground expansion meeting on wednesday. hopefully our troop meeting location will be solid by then too. i spend last night planning part of the first meeting. i might start on christmas cards this week. they are back from the printer and look great. dd2 has a shot due this week or next. i should double check that. time is slipping away from me today. meeting family in a little over an hour for late lunch. the sky is grey but the autumn leaves are very vibrant. the reds look the prettiest today. a deer is running across our neighbor's yard. FOCUS! i have to stay on track and quit sitting here gazing out the window, typing a long post that has no relevance.Smile

Sounds nice bb star and ts Smile

Had a great afternoon - took boys swimming and their electronics were down so I couldn't pay by card and had no cash. The lady let me in for free! Then when we got in the changing room I realised I had left my swimming costume at home adn was just telling T we would have to go home when one of the mums from school said "oh, I bought 3 costumes with me, would you like to borrow one?" Grin How lucky was that!!!
Now home and starving, just waiting for our cooked dinner courtesy of dh.

Might name change back to CC...?

Silkstalkings · 14/11/2010 18:31

Wardrobe done! 5 hours of slog and a little lifting/tightening from DH, plus many cups of tea from DD who has decided a brownie needs to be able to make teaSmile. I'm not used to this much caffeine!

The kids have played really nicely here all day too, together and apart. Much Dr Who and Sarah-Jane roleplay and DS1 has been playing with 2 wooden dolls called Noah and Olivia-when-she-was-little - "They appear to be at the circus" he says.Grin Kurt has been happily ripping up polystyrene all ove the living room...

HippyHippopotamus · 14/11/2010 19:00

evening
DS in bed half hour early tonight. i may well regret it in the morning but i figured it would just mean dh can see him for longer before he goes to work GrinBlush

HippyHippopotamus · 14/11/2010 19:22

BibiBelle · 14/11/2010 19:43

someone has nominated me for something. now who was it?! and what is it?! I never check the email that MN uses to keep in touch Blush so I only just found out today BlushBlush

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/11/2010 19:49

LOL hippy. DD2 was sent to bed in disgrace 1/2hr early last night and luckily (after some protestation) didn't affect her waking and she slept through for the first time in weeks

Bloody hell silk 5hrs Shock. We have a new wardrobe arriving next week - it had better not take that long. I did have a snigger about MrSilks doing some 'tightenings' BlushGrin

Went shopping today and bought this dress. I have nowhere to wear it to as work Xmas do is a lunch, but DH has said he will take me out for a meal so i can wear it. I fear it is a tad dressy for most restaurants though?

Nice one on the free swimming cece Grin

TS/Star your days sound lovely and homely Smile

Computer keys sticking here, so shall try anmd solve that and return later

UrsulaUndress · 14/11/2010 19:49

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/11/2010 20:25

BibiBelle · 14/11/2010 20:27

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/11/2010 20:34

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 14/11/2010 20:36

Gorgeous dress Crisp, I would totally wear that to a restaurant :) You could bling it up with some silver heels or go for black patent courts.

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/11/2010 20:37

Also got these boots for DD1. Lets hope they don't rub the skin off her little toe like the last Hush Puppies ones did...

HippyHippopotamus · 14/11/2010 20:45
