the girls were with a friend of ours today to let DH sleep and DD2 has come home with a pirate outfit and sword the of herself [meep] They did a sponsored walk across the bridge today so we were trying to spot them on the cameras but it was too windy.

hello all else. Shattered, D not sleeping well, DH been on nightshift. I just feel as I've been constantly on a roundabout and it's getting on top of me a bit. This was supposed to be my week off but I'm working until Wed and I'm working with the most dire woman on earth in the worst section all for the sake of staff development I wouldn't mind but we're so short staffed at the minute it is ridiclious to have us move out of our areas of expertise.

Any how I'm going to stop moaning. DH is on annual leave now for a shift. I'm working till Wed and then we have a few days off. I should be catching up with loads of people but I just don't have the energy for it

I am a rather broken Crisp here . Stayed up chatting until 4.30am (not even drinking anything after about midnight!). The 2hr drive home was looooooooong....... Had a fab time though . DH and the girls made pizza and went off roading and DD1 made me a picture for my return

hippo please, please can you come back and tell us that DH has seen the light, or i shall be forced to come over and whack him. Hard. And repeatedly. .

Admin glad you had a lovely time at the wedding. The car trip looked fun

We have had a great family weekend - for the first time in many moons. Yesterday was lunch at wagamamas then a run around stonhenge where DD tried to see how many National trust people to chase her when she crossed the ropes. She found a lamb and proclaimed ' and you shall be called Boris!' then ran away giggling like a loon. Today wer all slept until 8 then went out to meet various godparents for breakfast and tea then home to charge about the garden in the fabulous sunshine. Girls in bed, cupcakes eaten watching telly.

Crispy - you are better as a Crisp IMO

Hippy - pleased things are sorted in the pottomus household.

Admin - I saw only piccie of your lovely family but none of you dressed to kill. :)

Enya - I have said it before and I would say it again - your H is a twat of the highest order. You are sounding stronger though which is fantastic.

Star - your wedding piccies are beautiful and so is your DS.

Doubt there are any pictures of me from the wedding. I had a good visit but during camera times I was off with a wandering two year old. DH & I discussed redressing and going out here at home soon. Maybe I can get a photo op then.

Salta, please show your DH the pictures from my weekend. You will note DH does the sliding with the DCs. I actually had to ask him NOT to do one twisty tube slide because I was fearful he would clog it up. That would have been embarrassing.

BlueBerry, I'd say that photo op might land us in hot water so we'll stick to the other plan.

Salta Blueberry & Admin sounds like you all had lovely weekends. Salta and Admin enjoy Labor Day! Salta I hope DS gave DH a face to that response! I would say DH and I do equal shares although we had a lovely picnic in the botanic gardens yesterday evening with some other friends and I insisted on DH doing all the running around - it was very hot and DH and DS had to share a bath when we got home. DS decided it would be fun to play in some bark chippings at the base of one of the trees he was covered in soil and even tried to eat some. He's now turning into a real little boy I suppose!

supermarket shop done, done token bit of dusting and need to hoover then off to get my depo jab, then deliver ds to dh while i get my eyebrows done (am fuzzy bear at moment).

I'm knackered today, just feeling sooo tired with so much to do. Trying to prioritise which bit of work to do first but they all just keep swimming around in a circle. I call my technique the scatter gun approach to work . Need more tea (decaff of course)...
