but the icoo weighs as much as...um, a small car!!

whilst my zapp fits neatly in my pocket
now that's what i call design!

misdee · 13/10/2005 23:08

oh definatly. i have the ornage flash zapp, and just cant afford the foormuff tbh atm.

roosmoo · 13/10/2005 23:10

oooh, next one, how exciting!

sadly think i've exhausted that way of getting round things with dh, esp nappies

all true tho!

(d'ya like my new name, it's my first ever namechange )

misdee · 13/10/2005 23:11

so u changign bag obsessed feb mums, what bags do u have? i got a little company bag and am very please with it.

startingtobehalloweenylover · 13/10/2005 23:12

it isn't heavy... it's sturdy! unlike the flimsy zapp!
seriously though, the footmuff has bits of velcro so that you can turn it down and stick it to itself (if that makes sense?)

it's so worth buying just for that!

love the new name

startingtobehalloweenylover · 13/10/2005 23:13

i also have a little company one!
it's very lovely

misdee · 13/10/2005 23:14

stop copying me starlover

startingtobehalloweenylover · 13/10/2005 23:15

ROOSMUM! you have to come to the christmas meet-up... it will be very fab and we can discuss nappies and get drunk!

roosmoo · 13/10/2005 23:16

i have a rucksack! stuffed with (mostly useful)baby junk.

would love a pretty/funky one, but baulk at ANOTHER 50quid.

{slinks off in shame, dragging sad bag behind on floor}

misdee · 13/10/2005 23:16

i got mine (plain black) on ebay for 25quid. just dont tell peter lol.

roosmoo · 13/10/2005 23:18

i caaaan't starlover, believe me i'd love to (if i was just brave enough & lived within striking distance of london).

anyway, i don't even have a bag worthy of this thread title
& i spent all my spare(ish) cash on nappies!

startingtobehalloweenylover · 13/10/2005 23:20

i had in my head you lived in london, which is odd as you quite blatantly don't!

you can stay at mine overnight though if you want!

roosmoo · 13/10/2005 23:23

nope, northern.
too much of a trek for me i'm afraid, thanku anyway!

bed now.

startingtobehalloweenylover · 13/10/2005 23:23

nighty night!

looks like it'll just be me then!

Hazellnut · 14/10/2005 08:31

Blimey - jsut wanted advice, didn't mean to start a buggy war .

LOL at 'sturdy' starlover - does it come with a small crane to lift it

Did someone mention changing bags ? Did you know I have a skip hop bag, how could you not (and its great when it doesn't break)....

Don't know anyone with a zapp Roosmoo (great name change by the way - I am currently trying to think of christmassy names having failed dismally with a halloween one) but will try and do laps around JL with it. Might try and persuade them to let me do some shopping round the shop with it ! And I think I would have to go for matching footmuff too cos I just can't help myself.

Right ho - SL, You'll have to give us a full report on the christmas do. I have no location excuse just don't have the courage !

roosmoo · 14/10/2005 10:48

how about hazellnutsroastingonanopenfire ??
hmm, bit of a mouthful perhaps!

will keep thinking

& i love buggy wars! tipex??

Hazellnut · 14/10/2005 13:21

Has potential roosmoooooo - can always be known as hazellnut for short !!

Right off out to spy on people pushing buggies around town....

gossifer · 14/10/2005 16:29

love that name roosmoooooooooooo!

i meant 16 hours in a week (hard to do when looking after leon)not a 16 hour day!! have been known to do that when i ran a reastaurant though!

thanks for all your kind comments

love this buggy convo..........

startingtobehalloweenylover · 14/10/2005 19:45

small crane would be handy actually! lol

aside from the weight it is really a fantastic pushchair. can't fault it!

hazellnut... you should sooooooo come to the meet-up! you will know me (kind of).. i am meeting up with Lockets (and i think dinny) first so you wouldn't even have to arrive by yourself.

My Dh cannot believe anyone could hate the zapp! He is such a big girl when it comes to baby accessories - worse than me!!!

So, can anyone suggest a Xmas name for me?? My nickname is so boring, I want a new one.
