New Fred. Apologies for dullness of title - we need curly for witticisms.

Anyone heard how Vag is doing on t'other side???

FannyPriceless · 05/10/2010 17:22

cossie I leak all the time. It seems to be worse at night. I refuse to wear a bra to bed so my nightie is stuffed with bunched up milk-stained muslins. Poor MrP. (And yes, I do think he's making damp stains of his own. I think he's worried that the 40-odd squirts needed post snip will never happen unless he takes matters into his own hands.Confused)

Grin at cunty 'accidentally' watching the WEG. Yeah, right. We all know you're actually a closet omgponieeez!!! gal but can't admit it.Wink

I had major fail at the weekend. Bonnie was supposed to go to a birthday party on Saturday afternoon but I am apparently incapable of reading a simple invitation and thought it was Sunday.Blush Bonnie has no idea she missed the party but it's a serious faux pas for me with the other nursery mums. [just as well we're moving emoticon]

Looking forward to hearing from vag. Hope it's all going well!Smile

AlpinePony · 06/10/2010 05:09

WAKE UP FISHES!

rots If it makes you feel better I hate using the dryer because line-drying appeals to my cheaper environmental side, but you can't deny the dryer makes the bunnies. Blush Although we've gone from putting the heating on last week to it being 23 fucking degrees yesterday. Hmm'K.

okie It's a sad tale re: VAG. See, what happened was that months ago during a happy, pregnancy phase she invited her mother to be present at the birth. About 24 hours before going in though she realised this was a B.A.D. idea. :( Clint was born a beautiful healthy boy at 8am and at 8:15am the rozzers arrived to arrest her for killing her mum. The End.

haha@ cunty coming over to the omgponiez side! Grin Given the countryside of where cunty hails from you'd have thought there would be no better place to have been a pony girl. (Do not google pony girl, results may vary.) You've upset the other mums? Sacre bleu! Wink

I'm getting on very well with curly's friend, in fact I may well have to soon start calling her my friend. Wink We kvetch & itch, drink coffee, compare children - ones over the age of 25 too - she also has a jailbait. We've both vowed not to do mother & baby groups but rather go to the park and throw bread at the ducks instead.

My parents are over and it's actually going quite well. My mum launched in to a story about the Messiah (living in Cardiff if anyone's interested in making a pilgrimage) - I ignored her. Nag now has a very pink numnah - will upload to profile so you lot can have the shiz & giggles. Given the way my dad touches Bear you'd have to wonder if he's ever held a baybee before... The men were in charge yesterday and he laid two mahoosive poos! Grin

Bad night with lil'un. Put him down at 9 - I took an early night too due to trying again today in Amsterdam... Hmm. Up at 9:45, 10, 12, 12:20, 12:35 etc., etc. until 2 when I gave up, got us both out of bed and in to the living room - and you can see the time now... 'tis a good job the lady ain't fer sleeping.

I've just done something I've never done before. We've come to the conclusion that Bear is "forcing" himself to stay awake during the day and not taking anything more than 20 minute powernaps so that he doesn't miss anything. So I've jsut fed him and popped him back in his cot and this is where he'll be going for daytime naps too. So I actually will need to get a baby monitor I think as I'm still not comfortable with "leaving him to it" in a different room. Confused But the boy needs to sleep!

SilverSky · 06/10/2010 07:36

Which is EXACTLY why the 'rents can visit but will not be staying with us. Besides my mother is still not speaking to me so we may not have the ishoo of them visiting anyway!!

I am officially screwed and I am not talking about being pregnant! Have just been informed that the horses are due to come in for the winter much sooner than I had hoped. Looks like I will be getting up and mucking out whilst waiting for the baybee to arrive. Not ideal. Will speak to sharer about offloading responsibilities possible options. Hate the dark mornings. Least I m not having to go to work as well. Let the chaos commence.

Today I am going for my first appt at the hosp where I want to lay my baybee. Good timing really as small person has been quiet this morning which is unusual. Do I still need to keep my normal mw appt tmw cos surely they will just be checking the same things two days in a row ??

I am hank marvin. So getting up to stuff face cruise the fridge for breakfast goodies.

The Apprentice is back on tv tonight! Fab show!

CUNextTuesday · 06/10/2010 07:53

ski up until a week ago I was saying the only bad thing about Rastus sleeping through the night was that he didn't sleep during the day. Now he does neither [bleary eyed emoticon]

AlpinePony · 06/10/2010 08:53

cunty I think it was the "snuffles" as I pulled a bogey from his nose at 8:15 the size of Andorra. ShockEnvy

rollerbaby · 06/10/2010 09:54

yoo hoo

SilverSky · 06/10/2010 10:00

AP my thoughts exactly. Will do what I can now and promise to make it up to everyone postbirth. Luckily have some very nice livery pals so hopefully they will take pity continue to be kind and helpful for that crucial period.

Movement has commenced but not as active. Tho this morning when I didn't feel anything. I found a bottom and gave it a push and the baybee moved away from me. Perhaps was resting up.

Vaulting!? ha ha! Bloody hell woman I can barely mount from the floor pre preggo! Am sposed to be meeting up with new preggo mates. Tho I can
meet them afterwards assuming that the MW runs to time.

Bogey talk makes me wanna puke!

CUNextTuesday · 06/10/2010 10:34

Hey I've done horses in my time - I used to go out hacking quite a bit. It's just that I can't get over-excited about the whole thing. Everything WEG-related puts me in mind of Jilly Cooper and Rupert Campbell Black Bill Fox-Pitt is my case in point. Furthermore, who, I mean WHO, enters the international equestrian arena using the moniker 'Piggy'?? It's sooooooo Benendon and 'in-jokey' it makes my teeth itch.

SilverSky · 06/10/2010 10:45

Awww tues does the name Bumble suit ya better !?

Nothing like a good hack to chillax or get the blood boiling depending on what floats your boat.

I am at the hossie. Waiting. And waiting.

CUNextTuesday · 06/10/2010 10:56

Bumble as in David Lloyd of Lancashire Cricket fame? Yes, much better Grin. That's a working class nickname, and not designed to be 'ironic'. Nobody who is a true joe porker would willingly be known as Piggy I'm sure

Backinthebox · 06/10/2010 11:30

Am with you on the 'Piggy' thing, Cunty, but you've got to admire Mary King, no? She was a PESH before the deli was invented. I like her, anyway. Random fact - my friend used to be WFP's groom.

Am reading Rivals atm, but Rupert hasn't made an appearance yet.

DS went to osteo lady yesterday. I am amazed every time I see her do her 'windy lady' routine with babies - but it is rather spectacular. She just holds them and gurgles and coos at them, and they spend 20 minutes smiling back up at her and releasing trapped wind. She did it with DD too. So any colicky tendencies firmly out of the way and DS decided he was going to have a blocked up nose instead to wake him up screaming at 3am. Nice.

CUNextTuesday · 06/10/2010 11:54

Alright I'll give you Mary King and Ginny Leng but that's as far as I'm willing to budge on the matter Grin

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 06/10/2010 12:04

I'm here! I'm here! Not arrested for matricide!

At home at last! ....oops baby calling......

CUNextTuesday · 06/10/2010 12:32

Hoorah!!

PollyPoo · 06/10/2010 13:12

Come back Vag!

SilverSky · 06/10/2010 13:15

box v interesting factoid. Insider goss pls. Also ol' Jilly "raunchy pants" Cooper has new pervy chick lit out. Tis called "jumpers" so prolly no sexy polo players this time.

I am still not having any B&H. I don't mean fags!

Appt went well. Tho found Dr to be bit viscious when feeling for junior. Made me wince and want to pee. Need to drink more water as got slight protein trace which is not bad to get to 38 wks and only just have trace. . It's cos am not at work and not drinking enuff aqua libra. Baby is now 2/5 engaged tho as I posted in t'Deli that s/he was 3/5 at 36wks so assume it means baby changed mind over the last two weeks?!?? Anyone know??

Have written myself a to do list for today as otherwise will get shit all done.

HI has agreed to do the grotty job mucking out for me. However what is suggested in convo, by him, is not necessarily as easy in reality.

CurlyCasper · 06/10/2010 15:34

welcome your vagness! Hope the new man in your life will let you come to play soon.

I've had a weird few days. Weekend of very off-colour baby, either screaming at or sleeping on me. A day of many, many poos, a day of no poos, a day of hunger strike, a day of gluttony... and so it goes on. Thankfully, however, she is still sleeping through (not counting re-wrap at 4am after she's got the farts out) and we are now trying to train her to nap alone after her mid afternoon feed. So she's in the basket now. Will probably not be there for more than half an hour, but she did manage two and a half once, last week.

Have not partaken in any hoss-related viewing. But have spotted that Piggy one on news recently and I thought "what a twat" TBH. I know lots of people who go by nicknames day-in, day-out among friends, but they would not used them professionally.

Been swimming and to mums and tots again, which is good. But having meds/pain ishoos myself, which means typing and other fiddly fingered activities are not so comfortable. So I shall off again, and catch up soon. Am lurking with intent. Grin

BTW I think I have lost about 6lb. Slow start, but hurray!

SilverSky · 06/10/2010 15:48

curlysue hope you is ok. Typically when preggers you imagine all menkulness disappears whence child
is born when in fact all it does is bring new ishoos.

Way to go on the weightloss. Superb! I too hope to shift mine. No idea how much I weigh but reckon it's gotta be 1.5-2 stone at least. Or it could all just be water retention or trapped wind. Ackshalleee on second thoughts it's highly unlikely to be trapped wind in my case. Nothing stays trapped for long.

Cosmosis · 06/10/2010 16:55

hello vag!!
silver I never felt any bhs - I was having them, one showed up on the ctg when I went to be monitored, but nver felt a thing.

Cosmosis · 06/10/2010 16:56

my boy is not happy today, it's been either screaming or sleep :(

AlpinePony · 06/10/2010 17:13

'Parently Piggy has been Piggy since being weaned - not the only child in the world to have loved her grub fo sho - but most people don't tell other people what their parents call them! Blush

Like cossie, I never felt any BHs - CTG showed them happening but I didn't feel them.

I am back from Amsterdam triumphant in documentation. I had to take an oath - wotta load of bollocks. They might still put the kybosh on a local wedding Hmm - and getting one in the UK might be "troublesome" as we don't live there. I made a quip about finally having found a man who'll marry me and nobody will do it for us. Gah. Vegas anyone? (although obviously will not be recognised under Dutch law anyway)

Welcome home VAG! :)

I used to love Ginny Leng - and even wrote to Jim'll Fix It asking for a day at her yard (which I never got obv.). Having seen her interviewed as an adult she comes across as a bit of a bitch! Shock Lucinda Green seems nice though. Mary King is fucking awesome - not only is she a BESH but she competed until 7 month's pregnant - put that in your "can I jog/take a bus/eat risotto" whilst diffed pipe!

cunty Fuck me luv, we've been chatting here for 18 months and only now you admit you used to be a pony girl! Wink

Backinthebox · 06/10/2010 17:48

She was European champion at 5 months, and always has a smile on her face.

CUNextTuesday · 06/10/2010 17:52

Anno, but I don't have a yard or own a numnah so I have nowt to contribute. I used to inspect riding stables when I was an EHO, so me and the vet used to chat at length about hoss ishoos. He laughed at me for not knowing the difference between hay and straw, and piebald and skewbald. Still don't and I don't care . Grin
