i've just been informed that bagpuss would like some toast to eat! its not for DS, honest!! not sure if i told you all but yday he found a bagpuss vhs, and instead of faffing with cables for the video player, we watched it on you tube. DS absolutely loved it and has been asking repeatedly for more 'wake up meow' (for those that haven't seen it, Bagpuss is a saggy old baggy old cloth cat that gets woken up by his owner, Emily, at the beginning of each episode) Well last night, i found my old toy bagpuss, stuck it in the wash and as soon as DS saw it this morning, it has been cuddled since! i'm pretty sure its still wet from being washed but he'll soon dry with enough cuddles 
I think DS has found his new best friend!
as for Pea, she's still where she's meant to be but yes, still lots of tightenings but i fully appreciate we could be having a few weeks of this so don't get too excited just yet!
mw meant to be popping round before 12 today with the home birth kit... so what time do we reckon she'll turn up?!
hmm, i'd better go and investigate what's going on in the other room.. DH seems to have fallen asleep on the sofa and DS is trying to get him to read a book!
