Hullo.... lurking quietly here, totally fed up waiting to have news on house and it is just sinking in that a great friend locally is emigrating to NZ this week - I know there's skype etc but not the same as sitting in her front room eating cake while the toddlers rampage as I have done about once a week for the last year. Gloom, gloom.

On the other hand, when DH came in vv drunk Friday night and trod on a slug in the kitchen he came to bed and asked me if I had been making aubergine quenelles. Why yes my dear, I always rustle some up when it's just me and DD for dinner and of course I would leave one on the floor for you.... Fair enough we've never had such an invader before (just another reason to HURRY UP AND MOVE HOUSE) but really.... quenelles?! That's your first guess?!

Don't be tweaky but my SIL's SIL has just given birth to her first child at the age of 42 Apparently they got to hospital where she was examined and one of the baby's feet was sticking out so they whipped her off to theatre for a CS! Both doing well and the baby is called Betty I think.

Here's hoping Pea stays the right way round...

tweakers making holiday reservations got K to start her exit. Set plans at 11PM and water broke at 1AM she took her first breath at 5PM...less that 24 hours later.

Why am I so reluctant to go to bed? Am knackered. Herbal tea time I think, have just bought that Clipper brand sleepy tea which is orange flavoured and quite yum.

Well we made it through 6 weeks. Mum and Dad went back last night. Was sad to see them go but will be glad to get back to normal a bit. Think I've put on about a stone through eating and drinking too much. I think DS is going to be hard work for a bit too until he realises that they are not permanent fixtures in the house.

Oh I had an apology from pg friend for not telling me in person.

LoL Pert we had my 'Singaporean relatives' over on Saturday afternoon so they could say goodbye to Mum and Dad and we had a bbq with them anyway my 'Aunt' was telling me that my cousin ate a slug when she was 2 years old - ewww. Hope there is some better news on the move soon.

DH and I are doing the competitive 'who had the worse night's sleep'. Apparently being 40wks pg, getting up for DS twice during the night and being awake since 4.30am wasn't worse than his night

Lovely news on K's interactions buckets. Cousins are brilliant for exciting new play opportunities. DD1's 18 y.o cousin took her into the hot tub for a splash around om Sat evening. Beats playdough with mummy every time i reckon

Thank you ladies.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my biggest girl. :) She has had a few pressies every day for the last few days and today got a Dora DVD, Peppa Pig backpack for nursery and a Sylvanian baby and cot. Which was just the perfect nuumber of presents for today. She is now playing Sylvanians with my mum in the playroom ingnoring everyone else.

Will catch up later and welcome Pea because today is a great day for a birthday!
