Why o Why does DD1 wake at 5.30 on my watch? I think we are going to have to try in reinstate the nap and see if it helps. That and putting her back in her grobag!

DH,DD2 and I went out to a wedding do last night - it was great to be dressed up and go out without toddler company. We hung around there for about an hour then took the chance to abuse the babysitting grandparents and stopped in town for dinner on the way home, amazing food and I had the most decadent pudding (sorry Hotmamas) DD2 slept through 99% of it and only woke when we were having coffee. We met some friends and ended up up stopping out until nearly midnight .

DD1 yelling 'help mummy help, I need breakfast!'

Mornin oops, had a 6am start here .. would love dd2 to reestablish her nap but its never going to happen .. sounds like you had a lovely night out and glad you got to show you new hair do off ..

cyteen please don't feel bad, the weather was horrible here yesterday so apart from the hospital trip the dds watched tv for most of yesterday ..

off to see mickey mouse at the disney store this am as dd2 is a massive fan, whats the chance of leaving the disney store empty handed ..

not sure what else i can do with them today as still in so much pain but the sun is shinning and mummy on duty all day so guess i need to up the painkillers and get on with it!

He is coming with us to see mickey mouse but will be gone from 12ish so no help from then!

Happy Birthday M!!! I know you of all kids will probably get a pony ride today!

On the topic of equine, I spent yesterday researching stables in the area that offer riding lessons. Then we drove by one of the researched locations. It made me sad to think I grew up on a horse farm and my kids won't. Anyway, I am going to try and line up riding lessons for K & me for Saturdays in October. October is the perfect month for riding with the cool breezes and leaves changing. Fall is really nice here.

Reading another book now. Drink, Play, Fuck is the title. It's the book written by the jilted ex-husband of the author to Eat, Pray, Love. A friend loaned it too me on her Kindle. Sadly I think I may have cracked the case on her Kindle before I even started reading the book. I have to shamefully ask her if it was cracked before she lent it to me. Pretty cool device this Kindle. Santa may need to consider it for Christmas.

R is having quite the go with crying lately. When she gets frustrated she will harp on for an hour. I am ignoring as best I can but yesterday while we were out she got mad because I wouldn't give her any more chocolate. This led to a good hour of crying in the truck. I offered her her pacey and she said, "NO MOMMY!" DH asked her what she wanted and she, as clear as day, responded, "CHOCOLATE!" Eventually she stopped but it was not the best family Saturday drive we've had.

Who's moving today? Is it Pert? My mind has gone wandering.

Lucky just veg today lady. The kids will be nonethewiser.

ok so no one told me that the whole of B'Ham would also be going to see mickey mouse .. queues were awful so dds didn't get to meet him .. did however get a toy each from the disney store ..

dds fed and now trying to entertain them for the whole afternoon .. managed also to have put on half a stone in just over a week.. really hoping its due to this stomach issue and not just turning into a fatty

Well ladies, romantic weekend didn't quite go to plan and am back in Singapore early. We got to Bangkok on Friday morning to change planes. When we got to the check-in for the connecting flight they realised that I don't have a spare page in my passport for the visa in Laos. So we were stuck in Bangkok airport not really knowing what to do. Decided to spend the night in Bangkok as we couldn't get a flight back to Singapore and had no real desire to go anywhere else. So came back to Singapore yesterday and checked into a hotel here so at least we had a bit of a holiday and came back today. DS had been really good for Mum and Dad and they'd had a good time. DH and I very disappointed as both really wanted to go there and not sure when we'll get the chance again as is not very toddler friendly .

Tweakers T and S really are peas in a pod - he loves puzzles and is quite good at them too. When there is a piece that doesn't fit he's always 'maybe no'

Cleaning out crap! DH is traveling to a weekend retreat with his family (the boys) for golf next weekend. I am going to take advantage and ship with him loads of baby things to give to his uncle who over the last 12 months has scored two granddaughters. I'd say we have enough girl stuff to keep him in aces for ages.

I've also unearthed my master bath which has been used as a storage closet since we had guests at the beginning of the summer. I could begin a plan to have the plumbing reworked so... What is it with me and projects? It's usable now but the floor has been stripped out and the walls still need work.

I told him that if he wanted to create a boy baby via science and stuff that I would openly consider the idea/process until my 40th birthday. He laughed. He's not really a fan of petri dish work. I assumed that would be his reaction thus my calmness when suggesting it. And thus the packing continues without reservation.

Lucky I'd be over in a heartbeat to sort things out and help you with the girls so you could rest. ((((((hug)))))) I wonder if the pain meds might be causing the pee action. Medication is funny sometimes. Also makes me wonder if you're not passing a stone. It makes you feel like you have to pee loads. My suggestion drink as much water as possible and pee pee pee.

Glad you're going back to the docs loti - remember, it's what they're there for (and what we pay taxes for). My sympathies also, I still feel rubbish and can't keep my eyes open today.

On the up side, I have lost half a stone in the last week. I guess not being able to swallow without going OWWWWW has its advantages.

so much as been reorganized, boxed for giving away, tossed in the garbage bin and set aside for the thrift store. the girls are playing with old toys i'd hidden for one reason of another. i think i need to rent a storage space or purchase a storage shed though. i've no real good place to keep 3 years worth of hand-me-down clothing for R (nicely boxed...one box a year) or the christmas boxes (4) plus the Christmas tree (1 huge box). i would so be in trouble if we lived in a smaller place.

Lovely weekend at friend's house, DD's loved it and screamed when told we were coming home . DD2 got her fingers shut in a door (total accident), so poor thing is going through the mill again

LOTI sounds like more than a torn muscle to me, more like gall stones or kidney stones with that amount of pain. Get yourself to A&E if it gets any worse at all. Please . Sorry to hear Mickey was so crowded, but you did better than me at even attempting it

R just took a shower but did not let go of her tiny toblerone once. I had to wash all around it. It did get somewhat soap and obviously wet but she was NOT letting it go. She nibbled on it throughout then finally at the end shoved it into her mouth with a huge smile of accomplishment & satisfaction.
