Perhaps your mum latched onto it as a mutual topic of conversation with someone she didn't really know and then let her mouth run away? GRRRRR! K just got a semi-bad report on her behavior record today. It's to be expected considering her parents BUT it's a mark because she was WARNED she was off task, a warning she took to heart and self corrected. It happened on the 6th day of school FFS! She wasn't allowed a toy from the toy chest because she got the warning. I don't believe in toys has behavior treats but IT WAS A WARNING. She was looking at a globe (see her mother's influence) instead of doing something else which I'm sure was much more important in life. She wasn't talking or making noise or being disruptive, SHE WAS LOOKING AT A GLOBE!!!

This is NOT going to be a good school year!

And yes, I've calmly typed a "please explain this to me" note and emailed it to her teacher.

I took K for ice cream after school since her teacher punished her with no prize. Little does her teacher know correction after one warning in my house scores you solid gold!
