cyteen sorry to hear about the poxy pox. Hope your boy is feeling better soon. Im amazed that S hasn't had it - most of the kids we know round here have had it over the last couple of months.

Not much going on here. The bump is now interfering with me shaving my legs though. Looks like I just get huge bumps when pg! S loving his new trainers. He walked all the way to the children's centre this morning, and all the way back afterwards! Really wish I hadn't bothered taking the buggy with found out today that the Health in Pregnancy grant is still in place until January, so that will be a big help if I get it.

How are the 'surges' coming on tweaks?

oops, i've just snoozed on the sofa for an hour DS woke me up because he'd finished his drink

lovely friend just phoned, asking what i'm up to this afternoon and do i want some company. said yes, if only so he can keep me awake! DS likes him so think i'll chuck them both out in the garden

surges have calmed down again

does anyone else remember their DC kicking still whilst having a contraction? DS went really quiet last few days and he only kicked if I provoked him. DD seems to be fighting against them though. Just wondering whether or not I should be paying more attention to them...

Without wishing to be indecisive hotpot and loti I'm happy to go ahead, or postpone. That reads wrong, I'm not happy to postpone at all, as I'd love to see you all. What I mean is I'm happy to re-arrange . So, please come if you want to, but I won't be offended if you decide to make it a September meet instead? Just let me know before midnight tonight... . Weather forecast for us tomorrow is 'pissing rain', if that helps your decision any?

Tweaky unfortunately you need to smell the wet patch not an expert at all but I think you may be able to tell ( clutches at straws) does your tummy feel really hard or has it gone down at all??

Ooh tweakers I think a sniff of the wet patch is in order here When my waters broke with DS, the midwife cheerily confided that 'you can always tell amniotic fluid because it smells like semen', so maybe your DH will contribute to a comparison test.

If I am honest the thought of driving nearly 2 hours on my own with two children is a bit daunting, so if you really don't mind I would rather postpone until September and have a proper meet up while at least one of them is at school. Although will have to keep it secret from T that I have met cyteen again

friend gone now and i think it would have been more relaxing if he hadn't come! DS was completely showing off the whole time he was here He has at least offered to pop round if i suddenly go into labour (with DH at work) so despite him not being anywhere near first choice, he'll be better than nowt if DS is awake!

hots I did a level 2 Shred for the first time just now and it was bloody hard work. Honestly, why isn't eating biscuits such hard work? Maybe I should start buying those seaman's biscuits (no sniggering at the back), the ones that are like housebricks. Then I would have massive jaw muscles and people could use me as a nutcracker.
