i just had a bit of a show

DH being a twat though so i haven't told him. He's just said not to bother cooking him anything for dinner, so I haven't. In the past i've ignored him and made him something anyway well fuck him, i'm eating my dinner and then going to bed

sorry ladies, was hoping to come on here tonight full of smiles. I'm still being positive about Pea though, positive thoughts are something I do have control over.

Please don't hold me to accounts if she isn't here and you haven't read the book! Have you practised putting up the pool? Let T have a swim in it :) OOh are you going to be able to concentrate on filling the pool if DH is taking T to Grandma? I have to say I think you need to find a back up to drop DS off at incase things take you by surprise and she comes quickly.

YAY - My Cousin just had her baby boy :) :) :) sounds pretty horrid altogether but he is here safe and sound.

Tweaksters I read over my last day before R arrived and quite honestly you sure do sound familiar. Maybe you should be setting up things just in case.

well, my birthing room is all nice and clean now, i even dusted it and cleaned the windows!

nope re practising with the pool. that's dh's job.... i think he got as far as getting the instructions out. he hasn't even checked that the hose thing will fit on our tap. seriously, his priorities at the moment have me nowhere near the top. suspect we're not even in the top 5
i'll probably put the pool up tomorrow. we've got the space to have it in the corner so at least if its inflated, that's part of the job done

our backup plan was albs but she's off on her hols at the moment! i think i'll just have to get my mum in a cab over here to then drive DS back in DH's car. she's not happy about doing it. i suspect because this means essentially she won't be able to drink until Pea's here. yup, another one with skewed priorities. i sometimes wonder whether its me being fucking unreasonable to expect a little bit of help

Bloody hell Tweakers you are certainly NBU to expect help. I so wish I were a bit closer and a driver so I could be ALBS' back-up as your back-up!

thanks to you too pert, seriously, it'll be fine. just feeling pissed off with the two people who are meant to be closest to me and therefore want to help. Instead, i've got a bunch of hairy truckers keeping me calm and sane, what does that say about how fucked up things are?!

On the bright side Tweakers, if that is your mum's reason for grumbling about driving, it's perhaps the waiting she objects to rather than actually doing it - she may drive you mad in the next few(?) days but when it comes to it surely she'll do it with good grace?
