morning all

Welcome home hots Smile

hope the migraine passed and stayed way Buckets. I only ever had them when pregnant the very first time and after a very stressful period but mum suffered from them horribly and I sympathise fully. Fingers crossed for a decent HV

ooh spring, it's enough to try your patience - well done you on the tongue biting!

TS - hope you're having a cooler night

sorry to hear you're not feeling great Loti - could you ask her to whizz up lovely meal and drink it through a straw GrinWink

Sazz has arrived on the west coast of the Emerald isle safe and sound - wine was being poured so I imagine all going well Grin

am shattered again today stayed up till after midnight finishing off building the shelves and now we have to put the house back together today. Meeting last night was shocking and I think I'm about done but I want to be calm when I make the decision - I'm not known for my rational thinking Blush

TwilightSurfer · 11/08/2010 11:15

survived my own personal sahara last night. oddly i don't know if i kept waking or just dreamed i kept waking.Hmm any way i am up showered and now getting dd1 ready for school.

helloooo,
just popping in as we sort ourselves for hols.
been down south at my folks for 3 days then have come home to re pack and are off the the lakes via staffordshire tomorrow. yay.
Can someone text me if miamla has the baby in case my fb isn;t working on my phone where we are:)

MrsMiamla · 11/08/2010 16:39

feeling like the pressure's building ladies... and i mean literally building. typically after my dad has left Hmm Pea's still very busy wriggling round though so it might just be her current position causing the pressure feeling, really feel like I"m about to pop though!
Actually had a nice lunch with dad today, not quite sure how that happened but I'm not complaining!

sorry, haven't caught up, hope all are well and happy

TwilightSurfer · 11/08/2010 18:08

Miamla it's all good.Wink

Don't laugh! My dad just sent us that reading series for babies. He wants be to look it over and if it looks worthwhile he wants that to be R's bday gift. It's not too bad but I don't even want to know the price. He gave dd1 a signing series which we used at about the same age. It excites him that I work with my kids to help expand their minds. You know who doesn't do the same with his kids and neither does his wife.WinkShock

The early wake up is really hitting me. I hope dd1 is handling it okay at school. I seriously want to go back to bed!

have a lovely time ALBS - god I've got severe holiday envy we're desperately needing some time away Sad

Miamla - get going up and down the stairs sidewaysGrin

TS - hope K enjoyed her day and you coped with it all ok Smile

made my first deposit to the bank and my first purchase using the KnB bank card - pathetically excited Blush

MrsMiamla · 11/08/2010 19:42

evening all

lol dizz, i haven't got time for going up and down the stairs, been too busy running round after DS!
well done on your first KnB purchase...i completely understand you being excited about it!!

hi TS...oh and behave yourself re the snide comments! its not their fault that they're not as educationally minded as you are!

dizzydixies · 11/08/2010 19:46

Miamla - put him to bed and get up and down the stairs - get that pelvis opened up Grin or at least lie to me that you've done it so I think I've given you some kind of helpful advice other than pushing the usual dose of arnica!!

MrsMiamla · 11/08/2010 19:50

he's actually in bed now and as soon as he's asleep i will go up and down the stairs, possibly even twice. that sound ok to you?!

MrsMiamla · 11/08/2010 19:51

i've written my birth preferences today...surely that counts for something, no? Wink

it was actually the increasing pressure i was feeling earlier that sparked me into action with it!

dizzydixies · 11/08/2010 19:54

oooh all getting too exciting!!!!! and I prefer to think of it as gentle encouragement rather than bossyness Grin

MrsMiamla · 11/08/2010 20:00

who mentioned anything about bossyness? oh, i see i did... must be the hormones talking Wink

don't worry, its not now and very likely not for at least a couple of days still but who's going to help keep me calm whilst i'm waiting for DH to come home from work, mw to arrive and mum to have DS delivered to her? i reckon you should all sort out a rota between you and then let me know who's on duty Grin

oopsandbabycoconuts · 11/08/2010 20:07

Miamla - get tweaking those nipples!

MrsMiamla · 11/08/2010 20:17

oh yes, i'd forgotten about that one!

dizzydixies · 11/08/2010 21:07

well I can't do Fri or Sat evening as I'm on late shift but I'm happy to do Sun morning Smile

MrsMiamla · 11/08/2010 21:23

hmm, so you're only going me dates at the end of the week...interesting...

oopsandbabycoconuts · 11/08/2010 21:25

I can't do Saturday day - I am 'working'. can do most other times seen as I have a baby attached to my boob most of the day!

oopsandbabycoconuts · 11/08/2010 21:28

Miamla - I did nipple tweaking in the bath not long before DD2 was born - it does work and very very effectively - I had proper 'surges' within 25mins of starting.

GladioliBuckets · 11/08/2010 21:32

Oh yes, a good shag followed by a nice warm bath and some nipple tweaking.

Finished my stripey fingerless gloves today and started on a knitted Astroboy. Is going to look v funny, am making it up as I go along and DS1 insisted I begin with the special black and green pants.

pertelote · 11/08/2010 21:58

I just got quite confused reading without concentrating and thought Dizzy was volunteering to spend Sunday morning tweaking Miamla's nipples. Just seemed like a long way for one of them to travel Grin

Buckets sorry you have that concern for K. Lucky him though that you are aware enough to spot the possibility early and do what he needs.

TwilightSurfer · 11/08/2010 22:03

Slow Cooker Pork Loin seasoned with lemon pepper.
Mashed Potatoes
Black Beans
Corn Bread Muffins

After this I am going to bed. I've done my duties for a month today.

nipple tweaking Hmm never could get good reception.Grin

dizzydixies · 11/08/2010 22:38

MrsMiamla · 11/08/2010 22:48

oops 25mins? blimey! I'm going to leave it til the weekend then...just in case!

ts that dinner sounds amazing!

buckets i agree with DS1...where else could you possibly even think about starting?! Grin
