Link didn't work for me CSWS, what is the name of it? Yes, need to move her along!! We're just gonna start off with a mattress on the floor for now.

Star, it sounds like you have yourself a classic case of toddler-itis! Grin

Honeymoonmummy · 08/09/2010 21:14

LOVE that campervan bed...

loulou33 · 08/09/2010 21:19

HIya,
Well done CSWS - can't believe you manage to conceive, be pg and give birth whilst i was away, was it really THAT long??

Congrats HMM, Heather and KSAL - busy girls Wink

Star - that's so normal, Joe had a huge tantrum as I offered him a biscuit from the jar rather than one from the packet which I was emptying into it! Hmm 2 year olds are totally illogical and I try to do what you do and just wait for it to pass....takes huge patience though. Joe is still obsessed with cycle helmets and had a tantrum in the park today when an older boy had the cheek to put his own cycle helmet on and cycle away!! We got some very strange looks and I still hate it when the boys play up in public.

Nursery say he's angelic and just adorable!!I more day til birthday.....feel really sad about it..

StarExpat · 08/09/2010 21:24

oh, Loulou dh once clipped a bit of Q's neck skin (OUCH!) in with the plastic buckle on his cycle helmet so he's very, VERY anxious about helmets at the moment still. He'll put it on, we just have to make it very loose so he can see the buckle, then gradually tighten. Stupid dh. Angry

Glad it's normal behaviour. Not so glad that I get to look forward to more of it!

1 more day that's crazy, loulou!
Happy BIrthday to Joe :) :) :)

Honeymoonmummy · 08/09/2010 21:24

Hi Loulou, thanks and welcome back from a fellow prodigal daughter! Smile

DH just dropped Poppy off in nursery this morning and the little boy next to her dropped his dummy. She picked it up and put it back in his mouth! (She's never had a dummy). The staff think she'll mother her little brother or sister [emotional] Smile

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/09/2010 21:37

Bed is called Anna hmm, on JL site.

Loulou - the conception bit wasn't much to miss tbh - we weren't even trying, and it was first time we had finally got round to it after having ds1!!!

coconutfeet · 09/09/2010 07:12

That still makes me laugh CSWS. You must have Super-Ovaries. I, on the other hand, have been trying for months with no luck whatsoever!

Hope the ms eases off for you HMM. It must be horrible, especially when you work such long hours and the tiredness makes it worse.

Star - Is that the same dh who would never allow Q to get any kind of injury? Wink

KSal · 09/09/2010 07:55

Congratulations HMM! lovely news. sympathies on the MS, not fun with a toddler.

Im 35 weeks now: bonkers!

50ftQueenie · 09/09/2010 08:59

One more month....... M will be 2 one month today.

Star - I bet you had to try really hard to hold your tongue when DH hurt Q. I don't think I would have been able, but knowing how diplomatic you are I bet you you didn't say a thing. Smile

Hmm - bizarrely I was thinking on Tuesday "I wonder when HMM will have another one......" Grin I am clearly psychic.

My face is still hot and itchy. Hmm RUBBISH! How can I still be affected by the stupid ABs when I only took one and it was on Tuesday!

OP posts:
StarExpat · 09/09/2010 12:08

Actually, I grabbed Q and got the thing unclamped because he was thrashing so much Dh couldn't get it off, then I shouted "you HAVE to be more CAREFUL!!!!" with a face like this Angry
and I tried to cuddle Q to comfort him/make it feel better.

35 weeks, Ksal! WOW! It's coming fast :)

pepperrabbit · 09/09/2010 21:08

Evening all! Did you miss me?? Haven't been gone as long as Loulou though!
Congratulations HMM, lovely news, hope you're feeling a bit better now.
We had a lovely holiday, hot and sunny, DS1 was very challenging and they all had their moments. DD has established herself as the ring leader in the car - she sits in the middle and peers round at the boys making them laugh till thet're all hysterical Hmm.
Cute in the early stages...
We had the most hideous journey back though - got to Malaga airport at 5.30pm to check in for our 8.45pm flight - and up on the board it said.......03.40am.
We nearly cried. Sad
In the end we took off at 4am the next morning, so nearly 11 hours at tthe airport with 3 small children. At no point were all 3 asleep at the same time - so I had to remain awake for the full 25 hour stretch from getting up on sunday morning to getting home at 8am Monday morning.
I was like this Confused
I've only just kind of recovered - and this week DS1 started his new class (a day late) DD started her first mrning at the CM, DS2 had his first day at the CM and has his first morning at school tomorrow.
I need another holiday!

StarExpat · 10/09/2010 09:52

Hi Pepper :) Welcome back! Sorry to hear about the horrendous travel back from it. I hope you have a chance to sleep well soon.

loulou33 · 10/09/2010 13:07

Hiya,

Pepperrabbit - that sounds hellish, you should get a medal for that. Do you get any money back for that length of delay? This is one of the reasons I don't go abroad, in fact my passport ran out 5 years ago!!

CSWS - super-ovaries indeed! DH best keep away from you {wink] . I'm sure my hv told me the more children you have the easier it is to get pg again.....be warned!!

Star - DH did exactly the same thing to DS1 when he was a baby and he's still a bit funny about his helmet being put on. Joe has such an enormous double chin, its hard to miss but luckily he has learned to put his head really far back to avoid the old 'chin in the clip' disaster!

Joe is 2 today Grin Grin. I had a little cry when i put him to bed last night as he's no longer a baby....there'll be no more babies in this family for a long while Sad.

He had a fab time opeining all his pressies and we have 7 toddlers/children coming for tea..Confused I will need serious amounts of alcohol later

ronshar · 10/09/2010 14:01

Congrats HMMGrin

Welcome back Loulou. Happy birthday to Joe. Two already.

I am sowing. I hate sowing. I have to take badges off H too small rainbows top and sow them onto the big top. Nightmare. Did say I hate sowing. Hurts my fingers when I jab the needle in.

Star I love your Angry I have done that same thing to all my children and myself! We are a tough family as we all still put our helmets on without too much fuss. Although W does try to stretch his head as far back as it will goHmm

It was H 6th bday yesterday. What an emotional week we have had. Tantrums, tears, throwing stuff.
What fun going back to school has been for my children and me!
W did ask at the begining of the week "I school" so I have done as requested and found him a school. Look up garden cottage nursery and you will see. It has got tractors outside so W bloody loves itGrin More importantly I get 2 whole mornings on my own. I dont know what to do with myself. He doesnt start until he is 2. So only 4 weeks to go. I cant wait Yipee.

50ftQueenie · 10/09/2010 14:40

Ronshar if you didn't live so far away I would happily sew them on for you. Wink Lucky you having some time to yourself. Envy I could do with some time off from Martha. Happy Birthday to H. I'll send a kiss from O but it would be a reluctant one. Wink Ewwwww girls.

Happy Birthday Joe! First one to turn two..... They'll all be two soon. Babyhood seems to long ago to me now. Smile Hope you're having a lovely day.

Star - Grin Good on you for the Angry face. But, you were still so much kinder than I would have been, which is because you are so much lovelier than mean old me! However, you should point out that when Q has hurt himself in your care, it has been by your hand..... Wink Grin

Pepper - Oh dear me! That's sounds like a hellish journey. Hope things settle down soon and you can find a routine that works for you all.

ronshar - I get time to myself starting next week - DD has 3 hours on a wed morning with my lovely CM. She started this week but I still had DS2 at home. I am sooooo excited. I've waited 6 and half years for that 3 hours Grin.

StarExpat · 10/09/2010 20:00

Sounds lovely, pepper! :) I have my hands full with my class this year. They are lovely, just very very active and loads of individual stuff to attend to, pull outs...etc. Oct half term coming up Grin

I was labelling frantically before we went away - and have discovered 2 things with the wrong DSs name on already... Blush
No chance I'll ever qualify as a domestic goddess!

ronshar · 10/09/2010 21:52

Now that reminds me I havent put labels in H new uniformsAngry

50ft. O would have to run real fast to land a kiss on H as boys smell well bad apparently!
I needed another week in the hols so I could visit myjob and you.

I am watching a big brother programme. Do they deliberatly pick absolutely stupid people to go on it?? All seem proper mental.

ronshar · 11/09/2010 00:09

He he I am remembering what I love about mn tonight. Lots of uptight hissy women in one corner and lots of drunk one dribbling over men in the other. Most funGrin And I have been drinking Pimms. Lovely evening.
