I've just joined the Labour Party. I should have done it bloody yonks ago. Anyway, it's been cathartic - I feel a bit better.

Last night I went to bed at a pretty reasonable time but I was having odd election dreams all night

Yes, I'm feeling decidedly ropey. It might well be the gin, coupled with waking up every five minutes from 5am and thinking "Need to get up and find out - no, too scary". And yes, guilty as well.

I was wondering about whether they should get rid of Gordon, or hang on- I think he didn't reeeeeally get the drubbing we could have anticipated, and after a couple of months of the Posh Young Twats, surely he's going to look like even more of a statesmanly type?

Also just wanted to say huge thanks to everyone on the lefties threads for the laughs, explanations, sharing, etc.

Am off to see what else is going on in politics but will probably avoid the bigoted Scottish threads .
