Yes it is great news about B&D, third place rather than the sweep that was feared.

Cameron must be relieved to have the option of Vince: it's like that sci fi strapline: the last best hope for mankind

He could be in charge of the ham facials.

KnottyLocks · 07/05/2010 16:26

So, if we're stuck with HamnEgg coalition, surely there's a very strong possibility that many Lib voters may defect to Labour in disgust in the next (possibly very soon) election. And wipe the floor with those Tory boys.

Thinking very hard to come up with a positive way of looking at it.

yeah but Len, you must know they'll be having exactly that punch up right now behind LibDemHQ doors.

I wouldn't be surprised to see all three leaders usurped v quickly, including Clegg.

I would like to see several new parties. With decent names that actually tell you what they are about. Because Liberal Democrats - not that liberal. AND, there is no mention of the ham in Conservatives, what is that about?

I mean - Green Party - does what it says on the tin. Don't want to have to refence UKIP or BNP, but they are what they are (tossers, natch).

motherlovebone · 07/05/2010 16:37

spam party ( ham conserved )

KnottyLocks · 07/05/2010 16:40

Agree Pfft, Conservatives name not really appropriate. Hamservative better. Or Hamstervatives. HamsTory?

Maybe not.

SHAMbolic Party?

Ninjacat · 07/05/2010 16:46

I'm too tired to work it out please someone whisper in my ear what the Ham thing is all about?

MarionCole · 07/05/2010 16:48

How could the LibDems join up with the Tories when they have asserted for years that they are more left wing than Labour? Surely they will lose massive support if they sell out like that.

MarionCole · 07/05/2010 16:48

Clegg may have Tory leanings but the rest of the party doesn't.

motherlovebone · 07/05/2010 16:50

DCs arse er, face i mean...

i know marion fucking hypocrites eh?

KayHarker · 07/05/2010 16:50

So tell me again why I voted the way I did in a swing seat. Pah.

ImSoNotTelling · 07/05/2010 16:51

DC has a face like a big shiny ham.

Apparently.

MarionCole · 07/05/2010 16:54

Surely the LibDem elders won't allow him to get into bed with the Hameron. Especially if there is an alternative deal with Labour/SNP/Plaid Cymru on the table.

I rather like the noble idea of a referendum followed by another election. Hameron will never offer that.
