Clicking on it monetises it for the daily mail and you are therefore supporting speculation about the horrific killing of Ann Widdecombe.

Don’t read it then. You got it wrong about having to pay.

No intentions of reading it out of respect for Ann Widdecombe and her family.

It's not speculation to say the suspect is one of 3 brothers, who's described as a loner.

The suspect hasn't been named yet by the police. So yes it is speculation.

As you want. At some point the suspect will be known if you don’t want to see that hide the threads too.

If I told you what I think may have happened, the thread will be pulled.

So a wild conspiracy theory I expect?

The journos have got the info from neighbours who know the man who was arrested. That's not speculation. Speculation would be guessing the motive.

Is what Placemats said. Which is correct.

The scum media just can't help themselves.

The news will be reported when the police make its next announcement. Happy to wait until then instead of clicking on ghoulish speculation about people who could be entirely innocent and not in police custody.

Great. Still not making you read anything you want to avoid.

You’re assuming he’s going to be charged.

If he isn’t and is released then all this wild speculation is completely pointless.

And yes. It is wild speculation. When someone claimed that they lived next door to someone who apparently was arrested even though that person hasn’t actually been named.

I am ignoring it. I remember only too well past cases where the scum media have done this sort of thing with awful consequences.

I’m not assuming anything, I said the suspect will be named meaning whoever it is.

There’s incorrect posts below on him being named already and an article being subscription only, both wrong.

Great I can’t say this opinion means much or is anything close to correct but that’s not surprising. You never read it which is brilliant. Keep going.

Ik keep going never click and read. It’s ok you’ve said that a few times now.

I read the guardian and the mail online every day. They're free and I don't like living in an echo chamber.

I don’t read it every day but of course I’ve read articles on there. Most have except some who refuse on here. Fine. They can stick to the Guardian.

More and more Mail articles are becoming subscriber only. I'm not bothering with that.

But everyone knows that the majority of what is posted in the daily mail and its ilk is lies and made up and embellished bullshit.

I’m sure plenty of people have been arrested this morning, and plenty of neighbours will have speculated that maybe they were arrested in relation to the murder.

Just because a neighbour of someone who was arrested today told the Daily mail that their neighbour was arrested doesn’t mean it relates to this case.

Decades ago a family member was caught up in a situation where they were working abroad and the local boss was murdered. The authorities acted by removing all the foreigners who were working for the company’s passports and they were stuck out there for nine months while the case was investigated.

One person was arrested, not for the murder but because it was in the ME and he was caught with drink.

One of the wives sold the story to the news of the world in the hopes of getting some publicity.

They posted, among other things, that the suspect was found in a green wedding dress. (Bullshit).

That the person arrested was being held in a 6ft by 8ft cage and fed bananas through the bars. (More bullshit).

I can only imagine what further bollocks would have emerged if it had happened in the days of social media.

So let’s not pretend that the Daily mail is about anything other than clicks and likes, and self serving rubbish.

It gets linked on here a fair bit anyway, even on threads where posters say they don’t read it.
