Do supporters not care that Zack Polanski is a liar?

A recent thread started, “I’m seriously impressed with this guy. Anyone else find him refreshingly honest and sensible?”

He has LIED about representing the Red Cross, LIED about working for the Dept of Justice (he was hired as a role play actor for staff training), LIED about being a proper hypnotherapist, and OBFUSCATED about where he is living (avoiding council tax). And that’s just what’s been discovered in a matter of weeks!

If this were your boss, say, would you still think he was great?

They are running scared and it is so obvious by the pathetic mud they continue to sling his way in order to try and discredit our dear leader. It's almost laughable really if people didn't actually perpetuate these lies themselves.

Meanwhile the Green Party continues to grow from strength to strength, bringing communities across the country together with a message of peace and hope that no other party can match. The vibes are just immense and I can't wait to start canvassing with my comrades on the weeks leading up to the national election 💚

I have news for you. Most adults don't vote on vibes. We vote on policies and two things guaranteed to alienate the average voter are being soft on crime and telling everybody else to pay lots of tax while dodging your own.

Im sorry but mistakenly paying the wrong council tax band for a houseboat is a far cry from what farage has been up to

It wasn't a case of him paying the wrong council tax band. That would be impossible since the council tells you what they want you to pay.

He just didn't pay any council tax at all anywhere.

He also campaigned for council tax to be abolished and replaced by a land value tax ( not in itself a bad policy) but if you live on a houseboat you wouldn't have to pay it ( no land)

Why am I not surprised. He thinks he's clever but really isn't.

noblegiraffe · 15/05/2026 08:20

What about not having to pay council tax first attracted Polanski to living on a house boat?

The rest of us mugs paying for libraries and potholes to be filled while socialist Zack finds what he thinks are loopholes and uses them.

MeetMeOnTheCorner · 15/05/2026 08:57

@InstantlyBella Comrades! Ah - the communist party lives! Everyone else works for your benefit. You just tell us what you want, and we pay. Grow up.

Backinajiffy · 15/05/2026 09:09

Green politicians… they are all the same.
a couple or three years ago I booked a “airport run” taxi to take me from Dorset to Heathrow for a work trip. Chatting to the elderly and disheveled driver it turned out he was Dame Jenny Jones partner and spends his days driving a diesel taxi to and from airports!

His heritage may be Jewish but it's interesting to note that the organiser of yesterday's demonstration against antisemitism in Britain didn't see fit to invite Zac to speak. His family, apart from his mother, has disowned him.
Since Zac became leader of the Greens antisemitism is rife among the party, with some of Corbyn's old Labour friends joining in.
If you seriously think that the Greens will beat Reform in a straight fight to become an elected government - I've got news for you. Not a cat's chance in hell. And I'm not a Reform voter. In fact I'd bet on Farage becoming kingmaker in a future hung parliament.
I suggest YOU sit back and enjoy the rocky ride that's to come. The future isn't Green.

Corbyn is/was never antisemitic. He has a long record of fighting anti semitism over 40+ years, supporting the Jewish communities in London celebrating eg the battle of Cable Street 1936 when local residents, Jewish Groups , socialists and Irish Dockers backed a provocative march by Oswald Mosley's British Union of Fascists.*
It isn't antisemitic to criticise the Israeli Government, indeed hundreds of US and other Rabbis and Cantors signed a declaration doing just that.
Claiming Corbyn was antisemitic was just a ploy to attack the left wing of the Labour Party. Conflating lack of support for the Israeli Government with anti semitism.
*Incidentally Mosley's grandson Louis Mosley runs Palantir the US Company which the Conservatives chose in Nov 2023 to provide systems for the NHS! Handing over all our details in preparation of selling off the NHS to the US company? Streeting seems to be supportive too .....but he has received £360k? from private health firms.....

I‘m afraid this politics vibes is a thing.

A very intelligent professional told me the other day how he was listening to Zac on the radio and was very impressed by him and the ‘feeling’ he got from him.

This guy managed to even downplay the whole hypnotherapy/ boobs thing as being twisted by a reporter.

It’s a funny world we’re living in at the moment where being a charlatan seems to be essential to advancing your political career.

SunnyAfternoonToday · 15/05/2026 11:36

WTAF?! Please don't lecture me about Cable Street or Oswald Mosley @ElizaMulvil My father was actually there fighting the fascists.
As for Corbyn I will stick to my belief that his is an anti semite. Hobnobbing with Islamist terrorists illustrates he is no friend of Jewish people.
I agree that criticism of the Israeli Government is not anti semitic per se, however attacking and terrorising British Jews IS antisemitic.

Shoola · 12/05/2026 05:02

He is a total charlatan. There is nothing about him to suggest otherwise.

He is selling something that many find appealing though. He is offering them other people's money, and some self righteous hatred against certain groups. People have always gone for that.

Farage or Polanski ? I think you need to be clearer.

I was talking about Polanski because that is who the thread is about. However, they both use the same tactics so I can see why it is unclear. Farage doesn't pretend he can make your life better by offering other people's money, he pretends he can make your life better by reducing immigration. Both as bad as each other .

I shouldn't be surprised by this because it's the only way to explain Boris Johnson's inexplicable appeal. Nevertheless, it's extremely depressing, not to say frightening.😱

The "vibes" thing doesn't last forever though.

Case in point is Boris. He has charisma and seemed fun on shows like Have I Got News For You.

Less fun and much less likeable once he was leading the country though!

Problem is, it allows in power people who can do tremendous damage.

And when it turns out that they can’t deliver on their outlandish promises it creates a wider vacuum to be filled by those even farther at the fringes.

I wish people would wake up
😳

I'd like us to get back to valuing intelligence, competence and integrity far above 'charisma'. Not holding my breath on that, though.

Yes, same. That's why I think Starmer's ok really, despite not having much charisma.

What's to say that Zack doesn't possess any of those attributes himself? He is clearly a very intelligent man and his competency has allowed him to become the front man of the hottest political movement since Blair hit the scene. And as for integrity, this man wants to create a world without borders, private ownership and wealth inequality. You cannot get any more integral than that.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 15/05/2026 16:06

You're toying with us now. Top tip for next time, make it a bit less obvious. You had me fooled earlier but now I can see you're actually either just here to stir up outrage or you work for Reform.

Enough integrity that he allowed multiple racist candidates to be picked.

TBF, it could apply to either. They're opposite cheeks of the same arse.
