Do supporters not care that Zack Polanski is a liar?

A recent thread started, “I’m seriously impressed with this guy. Anyone else find him refreshingly honest and sensible?”

He has LIED about representing the Red Cross, LIED about working for the Dept of Justice (he was hired as a role play actor for staff training), LIED about being a proper hypnotherapist, and OBFUSCATED about where he is living (avoiding council tax). And that’s just what’s been discovered in a matter of weeks!

If this were your boss, say, would you still think he was great?

The police followed the correct protocol given that the knifeman could have been wearing a suicide vest.

It’s not a small error or mistake, though, is it? Not paying your council tax for three years!? And then lying about it.
It’s not very Fair is it, for the Fairer, Greener party leader….

Yes. That is more front than Blackpool to say you'Might have failed to pay council tax for 3 years'! What did he think council tax was? For the little people? Or that living on a houseboat meant he didnt have to pay for services? As I thought, 'tax the millionnaires' has turned into 'Tax the Billionnaires' because that means Zack 'I dont have to pay council tax cos Im so edgy' Polanski and Rachel '6 bedroom mansion' Millward dont fall into that category, alongside all the other Green Millionnaires.

He's not just a liar, he's a charlatan and a conman.

MandyMotherOfBrian · 12/05/2026 15:52

I genuinely thought Nige had cornered the market in racist, grifting, tax evading party leadership but I guess Zack feels there's room for one more.

rainbowsnack · 12/05/2026 15:55

I'll be honest, I am happy to support the Green Party policies and I like the way the come up with them by voting etc.

This guy though? He gives me the ick. I don't like him one bit. And that was before anything came out about him, I just genuinely didn't get good vibes off him and have no idea why.

On my I could the same for supporters of the other parties, in a particular a certainl party that attracts all the abusers and racists. They all do it but this on is vile. Dont make out it’s just the greens.

I dont think anyone cares. Boris Johnson a habitual, proven liar who got sacked from jobs for lying, became the Prime Minister!🤷‍♀️

I agree with this I’m afraid.

I think people should care, but honestly they don’t.

Branleuse · 12/05/2026 16:00

I do and I don't. I think they're all a bunch of fucking liars, but Zack polanski is the best of a bad bunch, and that's by quite a long shot.

CheeseyOnionPie · 12/05/2026 16:01

Tryagain26 · 11/05/2026 14:45

People seem to care less about Farage being a liar

This!

MandyMotherOfBrian · 12/05/2026 16:08

CheeseyOnionPie · 12/05/2026 16:01

This!

But isn't that partly because the Green party are supposed to be better? They'd certainly claim to be. So isn't it perfectly understandable that people expect them to do better?

Yes, they are both obvious charlatans

ScribblingPixie · 12/05/2026 16:24

I was amazed to discover how old he is - 43! For any middle-aged man, dodging council tax is pathetic and un-community-minded. For a politician it makes him unfit for any role IMO.

Sidebeforeself · 12/05/2026 16:26

SunnyAfternoonToday · 12/05/2026 14:19

Which policies, precisely? They appear to have abandoned their original ones - you know saving the planet etc.

I dont think Im the poster you meant to quote . I was pointing out that the comment “people believe in their policies” isn’t factually accurate!

SomethingFun · 12/05/2026 16:27

If I didn’t pay my council tax I’d be sent to court and maybe prison if I can’t pay so I don’t give two fucks if people think he’s the second coming, he’s not one of us because he belongs to the political class who think the rules and laws are for the little people. Two cheeks of the same arse.

scaffoldexpert · 12/05/2026 16:39

I like him and I like his politics. I don't agree with everything but I want a wealth tax as without one the super rich will eventually take everything and leave the rest of us with nothing. The Green Party is the only party talking seriously about it. And I don't for one minute believe Zack is anti-Semitic, he reverted his surname to it's Jewish historical roots rejecting his step father's surname. I suspect it was this that caused family splits. The cartoons drawn of him are anti-Semitic tropes yet he's the racist! Pull the other!

If you believe in the policies, vote for the party. No leader or politician is spotless because they are all humans. Alternatively wait for the first AI party leader.

SpottyAlpaca · 12/05/2026 16:44

The press (led by the Times) have done a fantastic job by digging into Polanski’s background, and the more they dig, the more dodgy, dishonest stuff they find. He may be a fluent, media-friendly front man but behind that we are seeing the reality is a lying chancer. Many of the idealists who were Green Party members before last year must be appalled by what they are reading about him.

NutellaPopcorn · 12/05/2026 16:47

Farage really wants to use boats to his advantage doesn’t he 😂

Honestly this guy is so terrifying to Reform and the rich that they are doing all they can currently to make him seem horrific. Anti semitic, council tax dodging, hypnoboobing boat dweller. Just to try and discredit him to protect themselves and their interests.

Zimunya · 12/05/2026 16:50

MandyMotherOfBrian · 12/05/2026 09:53

…the Green Party has admitted…

So why would he have originally lied to The Times then, about only occasionally living there?

The answer to that is, of course, that they’ve gone away and had a think about it and realised that it’s far better to ‘admit’ he hasn’t paid council tax than to stick with he only lived there occasionally and be liable to be accused of an actual criminal offence of electoral fraud….

Dodgy as fuck.

Also interesting how on each of the threads about him, someone immediately pops up to state ‘but what about Farage’. Well yeah, what about him? He’s a lying grifter and Polanski and the Greens hold themselves up to be better, much better, than both him and Reform so, by their own logic, they should be and do better and they should be held to a higher account.

Totally agree. Also, they chose yesterday and today to realise he "may" have not paid his council tax because it was a great day for bad news to be buried, with the media awash with "Will he go, will he stay?" articles about Keir Starmer.

They are running scared and it is so obvious by the pathetic mud they continue to sling his way in order to try and discredit our dear leader. It's almost laughable really if people didn't actually perpetuate these lies themselves.

Meanwhile the Green Party continues to grow from strength to strength, bringing communities across the country together with a message of peace and hope that no other party can match. The vibes are just immense and I can't wait to start canvassing with my comrades on the weeks leading up to the national election 💚

The story about his council tax is confirmed to be true. Zack Polanski has said he will backpay the money. What positive conclusions can you possibly draw about a man who claims to have the qualities needed to run the entire country yet deliberately avoids paying his share of the money that runs local schools, waste collection, fire service and road maintenance?

EamonnFyre · 12/05/2026 16:58

Would still rather have him than Farage who is only after the money, power and status for his asset stripping cronies.

How about we aim higher and say that neither of them are acceptable leaders of the country?

Edited

I don’t think he deliberately avoided paying.

AnneElliott · 12/05/2026 17:04

I just don’t understand how you can inadvertently not pay council tax? It’s normally the biggest bill after the rent or the mortgage!

Starsaff · 12/05/2026 17:04

I have a family member who works in politics and says that most have a strong self serving streak and that in the best of them that self serving streak can be used in the service of "the people". Its also true that on the very odd occasion we've had the option of people who were not habitual liars or deeply corrupt we've decided as a nation that they aren't prime minister material. We get what we vote for!
