Why isn’t Trump being overthrown?

I’m sorry if this is a really thick question but I’m guessing that the answers will be multi-faceted.

Why isn’t Trump being overthrown internally in the US? He is presiding over a shit show and trampling over the constitution from what I understand. But there doesn’t seem to be massive resistance to this (or at least none reported). Can anyone explain why this is, please. Genuine question.

I do find it disconcerting when Trump is obvioulsy talking utter crap - like Iran saying there are not talks when he says they are going well - how many in media try and make it make sense - maybe it someone lower down so higher up not aware in Iran maybe its talks with an intermeidate country - not he is clearly lying his ass off.

I think Jon Stewart sums up where most of the world is - veiwing Trup has having zero credibility as a result of his prior behavior.

It's just some sections of the media that acts like Trump still talks any sense about anything that stumps me.
