Badenoch is on BBC News standing in front of an armoured vehicle (she's not sitting in a tank yet, but give her time).
When told that the majority of Britons don't want to be involved in this war, she said that we would be if we understood what it meant.
She's happy to have a conversation with the PM, obviously he's too stupid too.
Only she has the intellect required to want to bomb people.

well shes only human, how many of the public are similar

Drydrydry · 12/03/2026 09:38

Funny I thought Kemi was irrelevant and nobody was listening to her.

Of course Starmer never u turns or has bad judgement.

I guess you say that when Starmer reconsiders?

She is irrelevant. Unfortunately she’s also the leader of the official opposition so gets a disproportionate platform for her views.

She could have said she was wrong

Most of the public agreed with Starmer

That makes no sense.

Sadly when it happens a lot, it's just incompetence

She hasn't u turned. Her position today is the same as it was 12 days ago.
It was just Starmer panicking, and avoiding answering the questions about fuel duty.
The 'irrelevant' bs is just Labour waffle because they know she's doing well in the polls - unlike Starmer.
Labour are 4th in this week's YouGov poll.

Do you think all leaders of the opposition have a disproportionate platform for their views?

She still supports the US and Israel.

(Reuters) - U.S. intelligence indicates that Iran's leadership is still largely intact and is not at risk of collapse any time soon after nearly two weeks of relentless U.S. and Israeli bombardment, according to three sources familiar with the matter.

The gaslighting on this thread’s incredible. Badenoch has quite clearly done a U turn according to every single news source and commentator.

What has that got to do with the accusations of a u turn?
Kemi Badenoch's position remains the same, whatever your opinion of that position is.

Both Badenoch and Farage would have joined in with the bombing of Iran.

You'd wonder how they would have tried explaining the bombing of the girls school

It was in agreement that Badenoch has not fully u-turned. She still supports the US and Israel

That's what I'm seeing as well - they think she worried Trump clearly has no plan - no exit stratergy and frankly us keeping out as much as possible is best way forward and Starmer been proved right over time.

Thing is though there lots we didn't say what we said it was more nuanced from Torys- yet I heard interviews read articles - they seem to be trying to retro fit an nuanced poistion and frankly it does treat the electorate like they are stupid.

I don't agree with your interpretation of her support for the US. We were never asked to take part in offensive action against Iran.

Kemi B has said that the UK should have allowed USAF to use our bases from the start. Starmer obviously u turned and adopted her position last Sunday (after being initially over-ruled by Ed Milliband).
She has supported the UK taking defensive action to prevent further attacks on our people and assets abroad, "going for the archer rather than just catching arrows". She believes that Starmer has failed to provide adequate protection to our foreign bases. As do the people of Cyprus.

And when she said that Starmer was ‘too scared’ to support Trump’s Iran war, you say she didn't mean it?

Starmer has been right all along so far.

You've misquoted her there.
She said Starmer was too scared to make foreign interventions.
