I’ve read both your replies and I don’t think we will ever agree so it’s completely pointless me replying again after this. I disagree that poor white people have been targeted by the left, I’ve seen more abuse towards poorer members of society and working people who claim UC from members of Rupert Lowes fanclub than any other. I’m not absolving any individual of their part in a murder that has stemmed from a terrorist attack, I am saying I understand how growing up in a society that hates you makes you vulnerable to becoming radicalised. I explained why. Gave examples of other ways this also applies to other groups. I feel you simply want it agreed that Muslims are the problem when like any other group there are good and bad people there. It’s bizarre to suggest otherwise. I hope the established parties, which have long taken our votes for granted, realise they have got to get some competent, likeable, capable, sensible people standing for election. And soon. The Greens and Reform have got seats because Labour and the Tories are, quite frankly, shit. Both parties need to attract serious talent and very quick.

I don't think the Greens are Communist. I think they have some trad left policies sitting very uneasily alongside extreme liberalism and the prioritisation of the rights of the individual over the good of the many. I can get on board with the first, but I'm uncomfortable with the second. I'm terrified of Reform. But mainly I'm terrified because I'm struggling to agree with any of them anymore and tactical voting for the least worst option is a depressing prospect.
