Preferably in this country (UK) but could be international. One person who seems inspiring, hard working, well intentioned, pioneering or any other characteristic you admire.

We could stop whinging about Brexit and other things that affect the economy (health problems from covid infections and reinfections, lockdown, people affected by Liz Truss budget, austerity etc). It doesn’t stop their impacts though. The black hole shouldn’t have come as a surprise to Labour either.

Well realistically it wasn't a "surprise" to Labour at all. It was just an excuse to slap on idealogical taxes for school children, farmers and "employers" (effectively shafting young people hoping to find work).

I don’t think I want to admire politics figures. I want them to be capable, thoughtful, well informed and principled. But that’s what I want from everyone. Oh and articulate.

Shabana Mahmood - very smart, very capable
Nigel Farage - tremendous communicator
Rosie Duffield - brave and full of integrity
Rishi Sunak - very smart, played a tough hand well
Ian Duncan Smith - modest and sincere
Kemi Badenoch - calm, purposeful, objective

Sure! But not in the UK as I don't know the cast of characters.

I hugely admire Zelensky, for starters. And several people in the U.S.
