When I did a speed awareness course, it was on condition that I accepted I had committed an offence. The instructors made this crystal clear.
During the course, one attendee started explaining how he hadn't been guilty because really the speed limits were stupid (they used to be 60 and were now 40). When he had finished, he was reminded of the condition and asked if he should be removed from the course and have his case sent back to the court (they had that power).
He finished the course without a peep.
I think it would be strange if one of the conditions of LCs licence is that she isn't allowed to swan around saying "I should never have been convicted" and that if she does, it's back to the big house.
