Who would you vote for in a general election tomorrow?

If the next GE was tomorrow, who would you vote for? I've been unimpressed at decisions made by Labour since they came in and just don't have much faith in their long term plans. I've never even considered voting Tory, but also don't really see Labour doing much more to improve things for anyone. Will be interesting to see how things are in a few years time when the next GE comes round. Am I missing some really good stuff Labour are implementing?

Labour. Enthusiastically. Definitely going in the right direction.

gingercat02 · 28/06/2025 19:57

Still Labour, cos they aren't the Tories. Won't ever forgive the LibDems for tuition fees.
The rest other than the greens can take a hike.

Tell me more please! What do you like about what they're doing? I'm genuinely keen to understand the good stuff

Labour because my DM is finally getting the operation that she's been waiting 5 years for.

Echobelly · 28/06/2025 20:00

Lib Dems I think - they could win in our area with the right candidate. I'm actually considering volunteering to help them next election.

Lucillebatwings · 28/06/2025 20:02

Labour

Happyhippy99 · 28/06/2025 20:04

Not Labour. They despise people who get out of bed at 5:30am to go out to work & pay taxes. We’re the mugs who need punishing in their eyes. Only benefit scroungers are worthwhile to labour. I’d probably vote reform as would most of my colleagues. What a sad state of affairs that NHS hospital staff in the North East feel like this. We’re being bled dry paying for the feckless.

LazyDaisy22 · 28/06/2025 20:05

Labour. Always Labour.

unsurewhattodoaboutit · 28/06/2025 20:06

Labour. Anyone who writes Reform must be brain dead morons!

AntiHop · 28/06/2025 20:06

Labour. They need time to fix the absolute mess the tories created.

Zippp · 28/06/2025 20:08

Whoever I thought could run a government. I just care about there being grown-ups in charge. All sorts of people promise all sorts of simple solutions to complex problems and populist measures which can’t be implemented. But I quite like our politicians to be boring, just running the country with all the compromises and challenges that come with the job.

Could say the same for you!

Negroany · 28/06/2025 20:11

Labour, for sure.

BarnOwlFlying · 28/06/2025 20:11

Labour.
I like how they have improved funding for education in particular but also for other public services.
Our public services suffered terribly under the Tories and it will take many, many years to reverse the damage.

Hmm. Didn’t Tony Blair start off the tuition fees?

Neveranynamesleft · 28/06/2025 20:17

This country is in a mess. I honestly have no clue who I would vote for but I do know I don't like being lied to. And people that give in just because they want to be people pleasers should not be in power.

YouLookinSusBro · 28/06/2025 20:18

Reform most likely.

Definitely not Labour, Tory, lib dem or green.

UltraHorse · 28/06/2025 20:19

Reform

Bluebellwood129 · 28/06/2025 20:19

No idea but definitely not Labour. Starmer and Reeves are even more dire than I expected, which is quite an achievement.

BabySocksNeverStayOn · 28/06/2025 20:19

Green 💚

Ieelo · 28/06/2025 20:20

Probably reform

Mylovelygreendress · 28/06/2025 20:21
